"Hotel is approximately 10mins walk from Zermatt train station. There is a bus stop to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station about 4mins away from the hotel, very convenient. The hotel gave us a free upgrade during our stay and the view from the balcony was amazing! The pool and sauna facility looked great but didnt had a chance to try. Highly recommend this hotel going to Zermatt!"

"We were rather put off going into our room as it had a bad smell to it and the bathroom in particular and surmised because of this, that something wasn't clean perhaps the carpet or drains to the toilet. On the other hand the staff that served us for the evening meal and breakfast were polite and humorous and looked after us well so we cannot complain on this. We are happy to help you with the survey but don't want our names published please!."

"I stayed at Cervo during my trip to Zermatt, and it was the best hotel experience I've ever had. The service was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location offers the perfect balance of being close to nature while still just a short walk from the center of Zermatt. My room had its own private garden, which was the perfect place to relax in the sun after a day of skiing or hiking. The room was spotless and featured a minibar with a great selection of local specialties. The spa was another highlight, offering a relaxing atmosphere and stunning views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was excellent, with both a buffet and à la carte options. Cervo truly felt more like a second home than a traditional hotel, and I would gladly stay here again."

Breakfast was generous and high quality, with a wide selection to suit all tastes, and the dining experience overall was refined yet comfortable. The location is also ideal — peaceful, yet within easy walking distance of the village and transport. Beasite Zermatt delivers luxury without feeling pretentious, paired with genuine hospitality. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt."

"The hotel environment is very nice, and it's within walking distance of the train station, with a supermarket along the way, which is very convenient. The breakfast selection is also very extensive, with various kinds of bread, cheese, ham, cereal, jam, etc. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a room on the first floor by the front desk, and the terrace outside the room had a great view."

"We were so so happy with the National. We stayed for over a week and weren't sure what to expect of a "4 star" hotel. We needn't have worried. Our Family room had a fab Matterhorn view - the mezzanine area worked fine for our kids though had low beams to negotiate. We received very warm service especially at the front desk. Pools were great too. It's opposite one of the ski lifts and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I looked fwd to sitting in the lounge of the hotel with my book after a day of skiing. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"Amazing accommodation in Zermatt. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. They provided a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel with a short introduction to Zermatt by the driver. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The Matterhorn was just right there we can see it from our bed. Although there were some construction crane blocking a little bit but I don’t mind at all. Breakfast was also nice. I absolutely love our experience at this hotel and will gladly come back again on our next vacation in Zermatt."

"Spent two nights at Hotel Phoenix in September - it was great. Very nice, quiet hotel and short walk from the train station. Several very nice restaurants are close by that, being on the other side of the river from the town center, are a little off the well beaten path and so are likely not as crowded. The hotel has a deal with the fitness center next door that guests can use their facilities, which are extensive - you just have to ask the front desk and they will let you in. We also enjoyed sitting the lounge drinking a lass of wine in from of the fire."
