"The hotel's exterior is quite unique! While the rooms aren't spacious, the hotel's thoughtful touches made for a very comfortable stay. The vintage telephone was a charming detail! The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and enthusiastic in providing information, which was greatly appreciated. My only regret was the restaurant's food. The selection wasn't very varied, and you only got one egg at a time even when specifically ordered. What's more, there were flies, which definitely needs addressing! However, on the plus side, the Matterhorn was directly visible from the restaurant windows!"

"I had a pleasant stay. Though I had a technical hiccup with the self check-in, the hotel personnel were quick to respond and reacted super promptly. And yes, there's a small balcony that has a nice view to the nature! :)"

"Its a 10-min walk from the nearest train station. It has a beautiful view from the balcony where u can sit and have a coffee. Spacious room and had a bath tub so its a plus point. The room is clean. I love everything abt this place. Will definitely recommend this to our friends and families"

"The location was excellent, just near Zermatt Bahnhof and easily accessible from most places. The room came with a balcony overlooking the mountains, offering a stunning view — we even watched black neck sheep while enjoying our dinner and coffee. The stay was comfortable overall, though note that no amenities like toothbrushes or shavers were provided. Breakfast offered a decent spread of continental options with limited hot food, but the croissants were especially commendable."

"I stayed for one night on my honeymoon, but what in the world I was so embarrassed by how they decorated it🫣 I was so touched! The weather was good, so the Matterhorn view was really good, just like in the picture I saw the night view and the Golden Horn, so I had a fulfilling day! The room facilities were spacious and clean, so it was good, (I think the bathroom is important, so the bathroom is in good condition) I recommend it if you want to see the Horn view (the downside is that it's uphill while dragging a carrier.. You have to work hard for the view)"

"It's a little far from Shermatt Station, but the Japanese Bridge is very close by. The weather was good, so we were able to see the Matterhorn's morning glow from there. I had included breakfast, but since I was heading to Gornergrat first thing in the morning, I asked about the venue before breakfast time, and they gave me bread and coffee and also arranged for me to take it out. The staff were friendly and I had a great time."

"Exceeded our expectations! As a family of three, we booked a mountain-view suite on the top floor. With a pull-out sofa bed in addition to the main double bed, it could easily accommodate four people! Plus, it boasts a balcony with direct Matterhorn views and a comfy swing chair, perfect for taking in the panoramic town scenery. Absolutely fantastic! While the furniture isn't brand-new or ultra-modern, and there's no air conditioning, that seems to be the norm across Zermatt. We had a very comfortable stay! The price was also very reasonable, especially compared to the high rates we encountered in previous cities (perhaps due to the 2025 Women's Euro, as big city hotels were pricey). It felt like excellent value for money! The hotel's location is great, only about 400 meters from the train station – a leisurely stroll of less than ten minutes. Oh, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to every detail. My broken English was absolutely no barrier to communication! :)"

"Hands down, this was one of my absolute favorite places during my trip to Switzerland. Highly recommend if you're visiting Zermatt! Definitely make sure to book a room with a Matterhorn view. The breakfast was generally good, though it could have used a bit more fresh fruit. Plus, having a microwave and water dispenser in the basement was a great perk that helped us save money on bottled water."

"1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4 pm, it is impossible to manually check-in. The machine can be on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered the problem of credit card payment errors. After the call service staff waited for 15 minutes for people to come over to solve it. The service attitude is very good, but this is really inconvenient, especially after we slipped for a day of snow, and pulled the big box and small box very hard to get here. If it arrives at 4 pm, it is recommended to go to the next Alpen Resort hotel (the message is in the first picture) first check-in and then come over, otherwise you have to be frozen if you can't get in. 😅 2.
