KKenisibulunchengyuThis hotel is a treasure hotel I recently found in Switzerland!! The location of the hotel is super good. We didn't book a balcony room originally, but we paid extra to book one, but it feels super worth the price! With a balcony room, you can directly see the Matterhorn in the sun. The hotel staff is also very good and enthusiastic! The hotel's supporting facilities are great, with indoor/outdoor hot springs that can be used after 1pm. The hotel car picks up and drops off! You can make an appointment to be dropped off at the train station

LLJ56The location is super convenient, 10 minutes walk to the downtown business district, it is also very convenient to go to the train station, too friendly to passengers traveling across countries ～ The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the sound insulation effect is excellent, and it is too important to sleep well after a long flight. The staff is warm and professional, the English communication is smooth, and the local travel tips are also intimate. The breakfast is rich in variety, taking into account Chinese and Western tastes, and even the light meals that the baby can eat. The price is super high, I will choose next time, recommend it to friends who have travel or bring baby needs!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located directly in the small town, which I personally found more convenient for exploring and dining. The room was just right, offering views of the Matterhorn. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the train station, though the walk takes you in the opposite direction from the main Matterhorn viewpoints. There was no air conditioning, only heating available, which was perfectly fine during summer as we didn't feel the need for AC.

EEsc4peIt's a very convenient hotel, just a 10-minute walk from the station and a 3-minute walk from a supermarket. The rooms are also very spacious and you can cook your own meals. The balcony has a beautiful view.

邓邓I came to Zermatt during an in-depth tour of Switzerland, which is the best hotel in this line!
The location is very easy to find. As soon as you get out of the train station, you can see a public bus with a battery. After getting off the bus, you can walk tens of meters through the supermarket. I love the layout of the garden lawn at first sight!
The grandmother at the front desk is very nice and tells you clearly about the hotel. The rooms are large and furnished very comfortably, with a wide view from the window. The room also has a kitchen, most of the cooking tools are complete.
Rich breakfast and comfortable environment! Stayed here for two nights, and friends of all sizes are unanimously praised!
In particular, the host family of the hotel is very nice and friendly!
I will definitely stay here again next time I have the opportunity!

Nestled high above Zermatt, the Riffelhaus 1853 is accessible via the Gornergrat railway, making the journey itself an adventure. Once you arrive, you’re greeted by panoramic mountain views in every direction, with the iconic Matterhorn standing proudly in front of you. The setting is perfect for ski-in/ski-out access in winter and stunning hiking trails in summer.
Rooms – 9/10
The rooms are cozy, modern, and well-equipped while still maintaining a classic Swiss alpine charm. Many rooms come with Matterhorn views, and waking up to this scenery is an experience in itself. The beds are comfortable, and the rustic wooden decor gives a warm, welcoming feel. Some rooms have balconies, which I highly recommend booking for the full experience.
Service – 9/10
The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. Despite the hotel’s remote location, the service is top-notch, with staff going out of their way to accommodate special requests. From seamless check-in to helpful local recommendations, they make the stay even more special.
Dining – 8.5/10
The on-site restaurant serves delicious Swiss cuisine, including traditional dishes like fondue and rösti. The breakfast is generous, featuring fresh bread, cheeses, meats, and eggs cooked to order. The only downside is that, due to the remote location, dining options are limited to the hotel restaurant, but the quality makes up for it.
Wellness & Spa – 10/10
The outdoor hot tub with a view of the Matterhorn is an absolute highlight! There’s also a sauna and steam bath, perfect after a day of skiing or hiking. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by snow-capped peaks is an experience worth every penny.
Activities – 10/10
Winter: Perfect for skiing, as the hotel is directly on the slopes. The ski room is convenient, and the access to the Gornergrat ski area is unbeatable.
Summer: Incredible hiking trails with direct access to the Gornergratbahn for easy excursions to higher altitudes.

Service at front counter is excellent! Courteous, friendly and informative. Also we got upgraded! Room is clean and spacious and has a balcony. On going renovation next door during our stay in Oct 2024.
Resort has 2 restaurant at the hotel but one apparently requires reservation and has seating time. We were famished when arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, but were told to come back at 830pm for second seating. Such a disappointment when the front counter service was excellent. Had dinner at the pub instead, food wasn’t too bad.
Spa facilities was great. Would stay at the same Ola e again. Value for money

GGuest UserI had no expectations because the reviews said the view of the Matterhorn was not that good, but it was in a perfect location. I was able to see the Matterhorn at sunrise from my room, and I have fond memories of eating breakfast I bought on the balcony. The bathroom was very clean, and I was able to watch Netflix on the hotel TV by connecting a Chromecast. I forgot my charger adapter, but they lent me one right away, and they also helped me store my luggage before check-in. The hotel's customer service was also great.

BBingxuOverall, it is very convenient to be separated from the train station by a road. Go to the lively area to eat. The subway is three to four stops away. 🏨 I chose a triple room, just stayed in 😂 and gave us a barrier-free room (and the feeling of a domestic nursing home, the wall has yellow liquid rolling down, the bedside has a red block decisively contacted the front desk to change the room, and the room was slightly smaller!
