"There's no parking downstairs, and you have to pay a fee to park when entering the island. You need to call ahead for a shuttle pick-up. The sea view from the room was excellent, and I was initially very happy, but I absolutely couldn't sleep at night. The music noise from Moon Bay was too loud, and the room's soundproofing was terrible; it was impossible to sleep. This was really annoying. I left my cosmetics in the room when checking out, and the owner was very kind and arranged a time to bring them down to me!"

"Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities and environment are truly exceptional – very clean and tidy. My only minor complaint is that the outdoor pool felt a bit too simple. The breakfast buffet is huge with an incredible variety of dishes. I stayed two days and still couldn't try everything! The Hainan specialty Hou'an noodles were delicious, and so were the Jianbing Guozi (savory crepes). Dinner was also excellent. The Hainan yellow beef was very fresh and the quality was good. The Zao Po Cu (vinegar soup) and spicy soup were appetizing and tasty. There was also a live band performing 🎤. It would have been even more perfect if cocktails 🍹 were available. The Wenchang chicken was very fresh. Service was consistently great. The hotel offers many adult activities, but you definitely need to book them in advance, as it's very difficult to get a spot by booking on the same day. I had a wonderful trip. The hotel had a full itinerary of activities, and the scenery was beautiful. Special thanks to our butler, Mile, for their thoughtful service, including preparing fruit and a small cake. The activity arrangements and bookings were very reliable. 👍"

"Much happy to stay at Hilton Winning for third time. Facilities and service pretty good as same as before especially excellent experience provided from front desk Kate. She arranged nice room for us, RM#9999, i like this lucky number! Welcome fruits also good, the oranges very sweet, the amazing thing is she arranged the same fruits for my the other normal room. She is professional because she treats the guests equally and not the difference of room types. Also as the repeat guest, the feelings she gave us more like friends, this made me feel a sense of belongling. One suggestion that breakfast should be better and richer, more fresh food and less premade dishes. juice…biscuit(got wet and went soft)…Last looking forward the forth time stay..."

"The hotel environment is excellent, with an overall Southeast Asian garden style. It's well-maintained, and the balcony is very spacious. Our room was right downstairs to the beach, and the sand was incredibly fine – perfect for relaxing. You could also listen to music and watch the sea at the bar in the evening. Our hotel butler, Ella, provided fantastic service. She explained all the dining, entertainment, and activities as soon as we arrived, and her service was very attentive."

"Our family of three booked a triple room at the Le Méridien Shimei Bay Wanning and stayed for three days. The overall experience was excellent, five-star review! The hotel environment is beautiful, boasting the turquoise sea and white sands of Shimei Bay. The grounds are lush with tropical vegetation, creating a vibrant, tropical atmosphere. Strolling through it is both comfortable and pleasant. The triple room was spacious and well-laid out, perfectly accommodating our family of three without feeling cramped. The room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained, making for a pleasant and reassuring stay. The hotel staff were warm and attentive, with a gentle and polite demeanor. They responded promptly to all our requests, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast offered a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, all delicious. Dining with a sea view added to the feeling of bliss. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for morning strolls and evening walks by the sea. Overall, it offers great value for money. Our family's stay this time was extremely satisfying, and I highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Wanning!"

"The service here deserves full marks! Every staff member I encountered was incredibly enthusiastic. Our butler, Coco, was very responsive to all our questions and proactively offered help. The room was spacious and clean, and the mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—which made for a fantastic night's sleep. "I spotted this hotel on Ctrip's rankings, drawn in by its incredible value for money. I booked it without a second thought, and my stay truly exceeded expectations. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful; it's a tranquil villa complex featuring a central swimming pool surrounded by lush, dense coconut groves. They offered convenient shuttle service for both arrival and departure, and even helped with our luggage. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful. Guests can rent bikes or scooters directly from the front desk, which is not only fantastic value but also super convenient for exploring Shenzhou Peninsula and Shimei Bay. I even accidentally lost the key to our rented scooter, but they handled the situation smoothly and professionally. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended! Service: Excellent 👍 Environment: Good"

"Staying with kids was a delightful surprise, the hotel is incredibly family-friendly! There's a dedicated children's play area with a full range of toys, keeping the kids thoroughly entertained. "Thank you to the hotel for the room upgrade! This was my favorite hotel during my 10-day trip to Sanya. The decor was simple yet elegant, the room was spacious, and the facilities were super new. The separate walk-in closet was very convenient for storing luggage and hanging clothes. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, a huge vanity, and a large clothes rack on the balcony – so convenient! The location was also quiet yet convenient, not far from anywhere, and surrounded by many shopping areas. You can see the lighthouse and the beach from the balcony. Overall, I give it a six-star rating! 👍 The only downside was the limited selection of breakfast options!"

The lobby service is pretty good, but I want to complain about the people who stayed at room 1115 on the night of January 31st. They were extremely uncultured. It was already midnight, and they were making so much noise. The TV volume was so loud that it disturbed other people's rest. I am speechless about such rubbish! I hope the front desk reminds the guests to be quiet at night and not disturb others' rest! I also want to complain about the waiters in the restaurant on the third floor. Their attitude and faces are as long as their long johns. Since they are in the catering industry, they should not embarrass the customers so early in the morning! What’s more, the food is gone and they won’t serve it. It’s Chinese New Year and there are a lot of people here, so they should just serve it in a timely manner! What's the point of losing face? The price is higher than usual, and you still have to look at the face?

From the moment the booking was successful, the butler started providing attentive service - calling in advance to discuss the itinerary, planning the tour route based on my preferences, and welcoming me with a fresh fruit plate and exquisite snacks on the day of check-in. Every detail was thoughtful. Every night when I return to the room, warm night tea is already prepared, which dispels the cold and makes me feel warm. During the three consecutive nights of stay, the housekeeper always provided meticulous service: proactively asking about needs, solving problems in a timely manner, and being patient and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Every staff member of the hotel is warm and polite, and their professionalism is commendable. Breakfast is a big surprise, with a wide variety of local specialties, from fresh and fragrant handmade cakes to stomach-warming hot porridge, every bite is full of the flavor of life. When traveling, the butler also provides thoughtful pick-up and drop-off services, making your trip worry-free and safe. The room is impeccable, with neat beds, spotless facilities and soft lighting, creating a warm and comfortable living atmosphere. The location is also superb, right on Riyue Bay Street. The hotel is absolutely stunning at night, with a wonderful atmosphere.

They even went extra mile to pick us at the ShenZhou Station which is approximately 3-4mins away from the hotel. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure. The location was also ideal, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore or shop. The hotel also offers leisure facilities like a swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Every moment spent at Footprint Homestay was comfortable and enjoyable, making it an excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

I drove here, and there are parking lots and charging piles, which is very convenient, so I don’t have to worry about charging. When checking in, the housekeeper said that I could tell the housekeeper if I had any questions. It was very attentive. The room was also very clean. I watched an old movie on the projector at night. I think the house is very suitable for watching romantic movies~ The picture quality is clear and the sound is suitable. I got up in the morning and went to the rice field swing. The rice next to it was tall and a large area of green. It was very healing to watch. Walking along the trail, I didn’t think about anything in my mind. There were not many people going to the swimming pool in the afternoon. The swimming pool was sparkling in the sun, and the temperature was also suitable~ There were lounge chairs next to it, so you can rest when you are tired. I also soaked in the hot spring for a while in the afternoon. There was a rice field next to it. It was really romantic and happy to be surrounded by rice fields! It felt like a vacation abroad. Dinner was eaten at the wooden house restaurant. Even the restaurant was full of rice fields, and the atmosphere was full! In the evening, the housekeeper said there was a starry sky movie, so we went to watch it for a while. Everyone sat together quietly, which was quite comfortable. I felt very relaxed living here. Every day I just looked at the rice fields and played in the water. The facilities were all in place. The view from the residence is really beautiful. You can surf downstairs. There is also a shooting place for the TV drama Xiahua. There are also amusement facilities downstairs. The small courtyard and public area outside are also large. The location is relatively central in the village, and it is very convenient for breakfast and noodles. The door is slightly not soundproof, and it is noisy at 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, it is quiet outside after 10 o'clock. The overall feeling is great and the price is not expensive.

KKelkooLocation: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainan’s environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent. Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead. Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated. Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
