"Our stay this time was absolutely perfect! I had originally booked a standard room, but upon arrival, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a Thai-style villa free of charge, which was such a wonderful surprise! The villa featured high, wooden ceilings that were incredibly stylish, and the living room was spacious and comfortable. The Thai-style soft furnishings were tastefully arranged, with blue and white throw pillows complementing the solid wood furniture perfectly. Being in the room felt like a Southeast Asian getaway, the atmosphere was just incredible.
Not only was the hardware superb, but the service was also impeccable. From check-in to everyday needs, the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Their response time was quick, and they even proactively asked about our needs and offered suggestions for activities. The care in every detail made us feel especially welcome. The bedding in the room was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom facilities and amenities were all high-quality; you could really feel the hotel's dedication in every detail. The surrounding environment was serene, surrounded by lush greenery, offering a truly immersive holiday experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities.
Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly.
Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory.
I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort.
***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think.
I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one.
All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

"I decided to stay nearby on a whim and found this place. The room was excellent—new, spacious, and with a sea view. It was a great choice for a one-night stay without needing access to the hotel pool. Restaurants were nearby, and I even went surfing in the evening. Everything was conveniently located. The butler service was excellent; they contacted me immediately upon check-in, provided detailed explanations, and responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommended!"

GGuest UserThe design is very cozy; the beautiful architecture and scenery always put you in a good mood, whether it's day or night. The poolside photos are especially photogenic when the lights are on. Xiao Xu was very enthusiastic; I often felt like he treated me more like a brother than a guest, helping me with my luggage and recommending good restaurants nearby. A hundred thumbs up!

WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

AAnxiaozhuyaThis golden-standard designer guesthouse is a real gem, I can't believe I found it! You can book with your eyes closed, it's impossible to go wrong. It's exactly the island courtyard I'd always dreamed of!
🌿 Minimalist Wabi-sabi style – every photo you take here looks like a high-end shot.
The owner, being a designer themselves, has crafted the guesthouse with incredible taste. The pristine white architecture, complemented by tropical greenery, creates a beautiful interplay of bamboo shadows, light, and the shimmering pool. The private pool in the courtyard is a clear, inviting blue, surrounded by coconut trees, giving off major vacation vibes. The red brick courtyard and Zen garden are so relaxing and healing. You don't even need filters to get great photos here.
The guesthouse also offers a 2km shuttle service!

I heard it’s considered one of the better options in Wanning, which makes me wonder how it will attract guests once it gets older in a few years. It's really just a place to sleep, then you have to take a taxi to go out and explore. 😂😂😂
**Facilities**: The pools are good; the two outdoor ones weren't crowded, which was enough. The indoor one was said to be under maintenance and closed. My wife said the gym was great and practically empty. The only drawback is the lack of a private beach, which diminishes the seaside resort vibe a bit. The room amenities felt a bit stingy; no welcome fruit, which, while not a necessity, created a significant psychological gap compared to other resorts. The mini-bar is free, but it's strange that it's not restocked if you stay for multiple days! Is my room rate for subsequent days different from the first? Oh, and family rooms come with a washing machine, which is excellent, but the one in our room leaked, leaving a puddle all over the floor after use…
**Hygiene**: The cleanliness was okay. For a beachside resort, sand and mosquitoes are usually tough to control, but the rooms and public areas generally met expectations. The bathroom was also fine.
**Environment**: The plant landscaping is relatively monotonous. Also, waiting for the buggy by the roadside invariably resulted in multiple mosquito bites – those small, black mosquitoes are super venomous, and my child suffered badly too. I suggest adding mosquito control devices at the buggy stops. Another complaint: the path to breakfast involves large steps, and I couldn't find an accessible ramp or vertical lift. For a family-friendly hotel, I saw every parent, including myself, struggling to carry strollers up and down those big stairs every morning. Is this daily strength training on an empty stomach?
**Service**: The staff's quality is quite good; they always greet you proactively. However, one day was a bit awkward: we went for breakfast without requesting housekeeping, and when we returned and closed the room door, we had no idea the cleaning lady was in the bathroom. She came out looking embarrassed, and we were quite surprised. I hope they pay attention to this and don't enter guests' rooms without permission.

ZZiying.Gift Seaview Castle Resort truly exceeded our expectations! The European-style castle architecture is so romantic and dreamy. Located right by the sea, it's just a few steps out to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beachcombing and splashing in the waves.
The rooms were clean and dry, boasting huge floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning ocean views. We could enjoy both sunrise and sunset right from our bed. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night was incredibly therapeutic.
The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, promptly resolving any check-in or travel issues we had, and even recommending nearby attractions. The resort also features a pool and kids' play facilities, keeping our children happily entertained. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh food.
The lush greenery within the resort creates a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, perfect for taking amazing photos. Our whole family had an incredible vacation experience, and the value for money was outstanding. We'll definitely choose this resort again for our next beach getaway. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation!

In the evenings, there's a live band playing, which really sets a fantastic mood. The beach is clean and not too crowded, with plenty of sun loungers available, and there are multiple outdoor pools to enjoy. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus directly to the duty-free shop, making shopping trips hassle-free. Our butler, Mile, provided attentive service throughout our stay, which was truly exceptional. The housekeepers, Youyou, Xiaochen, the curly-haired guy, the guy with the lip piercing, and the other ladies are all incredibly welcoming. They always pick us up and drop us off when we go out, and they gave us tons of travel tips. Their recommendations for Liu Jie's hot pot and sour rice noodles were delicious. Parking is convenient and there are charging stations available. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse has its own spacious parking area, so finding a spot was no problem at all, which was incredibly convenient for us road travelers. The location is also superb, close to tourist attractions and shopping areas, yet quiet and peaceful. It was especially peaceful when we returned at night.
The biggest surprise was the guesthouse's private swimming pool! The water was very clean, and a soak in the pool in the afternoon completely washed away all the day's fatigue! I must especially praise the mattress; it was perfectly firm and supportive, and my family and I all had a wonderful night's sleep. The host was also very welcoming and provided attentive service throughout our stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area!

Facilities: Very comprehensive.
Hygiene: Despite being by the sea, there were no mosquitoes or insects in the room.
Environment: Came for the relaxing rhythm of the sounds.
Service: Provided complimentary evening sweet soup; when I asked the front desk for a bottle opener, it was promptly delivered to my room – timely and thoughtful.

HHdrinkscoffeeThe cleanliness overall is good, but you can see signs of wear and tear. The cushion was a little bit stained, and the cupboard door has some aging/affected by moisture. It is still acceptable for now.
The overall amenities are great, pool, outdoor hot springs and food available.
If you don’t have a car, it is not easy to get out to eat but there are 2-3 restaurants in the resort itself.
The beds are comfortable.
My only complain is that the aircon was quite weak and could have been better. It was not warm but not cold in the room, and we had ensured the balcony door was closed.
