My father traveled alone for this stay and was so impressed that he made me promise to write the best review I could.
They were always on hand to help with anything he needed - booking taxis, suggesting suitable local restaurants that were easy to get to, and checking in on him daily to ensure he was doing well. He said he never felt alone or worried during his stay, which meant the world to our family.
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, but it’s the outstanding, personalized care from the staff that made this experience truly exceptional. He’s already planning his next trip back!
Highly recommend for solo travelers, especially seniors - you couldn’t ask for better support and service.

GGuest UserThis place is really great. First of all, the rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious, with an outdoor swimming pool (directly connected to the pool from the first floor). We came during the off-season, so we had a private pool for two. The service is also excellent. Compared to five-star hotels, where staff are generally just politely smiling, here the staff all have genuinely friendly smiles. In Riyue Bay, staff will take you wherever you want to go in a small car, stopping wherever you want (during the off-season). The breakfast here is very refined, unlike the buffet style of large hotels. There's complimentary afternoon tea (the passion fruit tea is amazing!), and a cup of evening tea. Honestly, the overall experience was better than at a typical guesthouse, but the friendliness of everyone was a big plus. (Special praise to Xiaomei and Agui! Xiaomei is a very gentle young lady, and Agui is a very knowledgeable young man about the local area; you can ask him in advance where you want to go.)

WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

AAnxiaozhuyaThis golden-standard designer guesthouse is a real gem, I can't believe I found it! You can book with your eyes closed, it's impossible to go wrong. It's exactly the island courtyard I'd always dreamed of!
🌿 Minimalist Wabi-sabi style – every photo you take here looks like a high-end shot.
The owner, being a designer themselves, has crafted the guesthouse with incredible taste. The pristine white architecture, complemented by tropical greenery, creates a beautiful interplay of bamboo shadows, light, and the shimmering pool. The private pool in the courtyard is a clear, inviting blue, surrounded by coconut trees, giving off major vacation vibes. The red brick courtyard and Zen garden are so relaxing and healing. You don't even need filters to get great photos here.
The guesthouse also offers a 2km shuttle service!

JJinfengyulouanduI highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Wanning. This is the 8th hotel I've stayed at in Hainan. Before my trip, I was worried that Wanning wouldn't be as lively or fun as Sanya, but after staying here, I didn't want to leave! It offers a fantastic resort experience. The grounds are beautiful, with stunning views at every turn, far from being cliché. If you're tired of Sanya's hotels, this place offers a refreshing change. I paid to upgrade to a connecting full ocean-view suite, and it was absolutely worth it! The room was incredibly comfortable, and both the elderly and children had a great time. I suggest visiting the nearby lighthouse twice: once during the day and once in the evening, as the ambiance is completely different. At night, the beach is covered with a sky full of stars. Additionally, the hotel service is excellent. There are many shuttle buses, and they are incredibly fast; before I even got downstairs, the car was already waiting at the entrance. The front desk staff and my butler, Chery, were also wonderful and made me feel right at home. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, probably because I arrived quite early at 1 PM.

胖胖子六月The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the room looks exactly like the pictures. As someone particular about pillows, I slept incredibly well. They thoughtfully provided two types of pillows, allowing me to choose the one that suited me best. The breakfast was also quite good. If you're looking to visit the bar street, this is the place to stay—it's only a 6-minute walk away, so convenient! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. ❤️

The facilities are new and complete, with thoughtful touches like quality toiletries, a pool, and a laundry room. The service is top-notch – the butler is always available and the complimentary pick-up/drop-off is super convenient. Breakfast is delicious, and the room is clean and quiet, ensuring a truly peaceful stay. It's close to the beach, making surfing and watching the sunset incredibly easy. The guesthouse has its own spacious parking area, so finding a spot was no problem at all, which was incredibly convenient for us road travelers. The location is also superb, close to tourist attractions and shopping areas, yet quiet and peaceful. It was especially peaceful when we returned at night.
The biggest surprise was the guesthouse's private swimming pool! The water was very clean, and a soak in the pool in the afternoon completely washed away all the day's fatigue! I must especially praise the mattress; it was perfectly firm and supportive, and my family and I all had a wonderful night's sleep. The host was also very welcoming and provided attentive service throughout our stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area!

SStarliterFacilities: Basic B&Bs are recommended to install screen windows and doors, otherwise it is impossible to open the doors and windows for ventilation at night. The room is not big to begin with, and it is uncomfortable to be stuffy inside.
Hygiene: The boss lady washes and dries the linens herself, which is quite good.
Environment: Very close to the coast, the homestay with its own yard is very comfortable during the day. It is recommended to install a bathroom curtain in the room
Service: You can't have too many requirements for homestay services, and they have basic accommodation needs. The two bosses are very busy, the boss is very enthusiastic, and they provide tools for catching seafood

The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun.
