"The room had a noticeable musty smell, and it felt quite humid, which is understandable given its beachfront location. The bedding also felt a bit damp. Unfortunately, a cloud obscured the sunrise view. The facilities were adequate, and it's a guesthouse situated within a villa complex. Its proximity to the sea is fantastic, and it's very conveniently located near Shenzhou Peninsula. The on-demand shuttle service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, this is truly an ocean-view room that offers excellent value for money."

"The lobby service is pretty good, but I want to complain about the people who stayed at room 1115 on the night of January 31st. They were extremely uncultured. It was already midnight, and they were making so much noise. The TV volume was so loud that it disturbed other people's rest. I am speechless about such rubbish! I hope the front desk reminds the guests to be quiet at night and not disturb others' rest! I also want to complain about the waiters in the restaurant on the third floor. "The hotel is new, the room is large, close to Wanning High-speed Railway Station, within walking distance. There are several buses and tourist lines at the roadside station in front of the hotel, which can directly reach the Shenzhou Peninsula and Dongshanling. "The hotel is new, small, and stylish, reminiscent of a boutique chain. While a bit pricey, the location is excellent, right next to a bustling strip of bars and nightclubs. Some rooms are located near the highway, which may be noisy for light sleepers; the hotel provides two pairs of earplugs. Complaints: 1. Drying clothes is inconvenient; there's nowhere to hang them. 2. There's no rack for suitcases, so suitcases have to be placed on the floor. The hotel offers four free washers and dryers, each. However, some guests are undisciplined and set the drying timer to several hours, often leaving them unable to wait for their turn. Consequently, they have to use the washing machine to dry their clothes and then take them back to the hotel to air dry."

"While the hotel itself looks decent, and the greenery, service, etc., are all acceptable, its location on the island is a real drawback. If you're not planning to stay cooped up at the hotel and instead want to explore various parts of Wanning, I wouldn't recommend booking this area. Currently, there's road construction, and getting in and out involves a two-way single-lane road along the coast, which is further choked by illegally parked snack stalls and private cars. It's just constant traffic jams. Oh, the hotel does have electric carts that can take you to the bridge pier outside the island, but then you still have to find a taxi on your own. So, after one ride, I didn't bother using it again. There's really not much to drop off on the island itself, and even if they did, you'd still be stuck in traffic. The lobby's location is also quite unique: The lobby isn't in the building by the road, but my room was, and there was just a sign with some vague instructions. So, this is one of those rare hotels where you drag your luggage in, can't find the front desk, and no one is there to assist you. Instead, the ramp where cars could drive up was blocked off with a chain. You're left dragging your luggage, trying to find a front desk with no signage. This hotel really tests every guest entering from Building B. The room was generally acceptable, but one day I found a cockroach. It took two or three tries to kill it for good. I called the front desk to report the cockroach, and they said someone would come to take a look. After a long wait, the housekeeping staff arrived to clean the room and deal with the cockroach. The swimming pool and breakfast were also fine. It would be even better if they offered skim milk and sugar-free yogurt. Oh, and another building at the hotel is undergoing renovations – no, actually, it's more like it's being constructed, but it looks very much like an abandoned project; I didn't see any construction activity. It's right by the lawn you pass every day on the way to breakfast. It's quite strange, really, as there was no mention of renovations when I booked. The location is quite close to the Sunac church, which is convenient for a sunrise visit."

It also boasts one of the most advanced artificial wave pools in China! I could go down to the wave pool right from my room every day, and the instructors were very professional and patient!
