"Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

"Facilities: The hotel is pretty much on par with a 4-star-plus standard. The room's bedding is very comfortable, and the swimming pool is quite large with good amenities. Hygiene: There was a minor incident with the room's cleanliness, which was actively resolved on the spot, so I won't dwell on it. I hope the hotel takes it seriously. Environment: It's close to the sea, within walking distance from the hotel. Nearby, there are small restaurants, a Lawson convenience store, and food delivery options, which is very convenient. The bar outside on the beach is excellent and worth experiencing. Service: The front desk check-in process still needs better training, but the restaurant staff were incredibly nice. They heard it was my child's birthday, found birthday candles, and even voluntarily made birthday noodles, which was very touching! This ultimately saved my overall experience at this hotel! Sincerity is always very moving. Thanks to the handsome guys and beautiful ladies at the restaurant, even though I didn't catch their names, they deserve high praise!"

"What you see in the pictures is what you get! Since there were no king-sized beds available, we booked a twin room. After discussing it with Hamburger (the staff member), they were able to combine the beds, and honestly, I think it could even comfortably fit four people! Both the living room and bedroom had access to a courtyard, and it was incredibly thoughtful of them to arrange for us to be on the first floor. Definitely a five-star review! A special thanks to Hamburger at the front desk for their thoughtful arrangements. They proactively communicated with us about our needs even before check-in and continuously followed up on our requests. Opening the door to a beautifully decorated birthday setup showed a lot of care and effort. They even prepared a birthday cake. The breakfast was plentiful, and there was no need to queue. The pool was also very clean. Dinner at the Club Lounge was quite good, but the afternoon tea selection might be a bit limited. I hope they can increase the variety of items for afternoon tea in the future. Overall, the hotel environment is excellent. The Southeast Asian resort-style design is very tasteful, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the view from the balcony is delightful. But what impressed me most was the attentiveness – from the room decoration to the cake preparation, every detail exuded warmth. The next time I visit Wanning, I will definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work in making our vacation memories unforgettable!"

"Awesome homestay experience! highly recommended! This stay is really a surprise! First of all, you must praise the environment of the homestay, and you will be amazed as soon as you enter the door! The overall design is super stylish, and the beige building is matched with a unique arc arch, and it is beyond the film at any time. The courtyard is lush with green plants, palm trees stretching branches and leaves, and there is a super healing blue swimming pool. The lounge chairs are arranged scatteredly. The area under the thatched sun shed is comfortable and relaxing. It instantly relieves fatigue, as if you are in a tropical island, the atmosphere is directly full! The service is nothing to say, the store manager and the front desk staff are super enthusiastic, from check-in to itinerary recommendation, the whole process is intimate and thoughtful, any needs are responded to the first time, patient and meticulous. Such a good environment and great service homestay is really too much fan, I have recommended it to friends around me, and I will come again next time!"

"This is the most expensive and largest DoubleTree by Hilton I've ever stayed at. The hotel's overall facilities are decent, but the management clearly isn't up to par. The hot spring pools are also quite small, with only a few open. I booked a lake-view room, but they assigned me a room on the fifth floor where you can barely see the lake. The front desk even tried to trick me by saying that the fifth floor was the highest for this room type. The beef noodle soup from room service was truly awful, and expensive to boot. The hotel is quite large, but the lakeside is overgrown with weeds and poorly maintained. The room maintenance is also mediocre; the air purifier in the room was so noisy I couldn't sleep, so I had to turn it off."

While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Wanning or Riyue Bay. I’ll absolutely be back! 🌺✨"

"Facilities: As it's a newly opened B&B hotel, the facilities are very comprehensive. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. All the bedding is of excellent quality and feel, and all the disposable amenities are also quite good quality. Ambiance: It has a very South of France-inspired B&B vibe. The colorful umbrellas, the swimming pool 🏊🏻‍♂️, and the wall colors all combine beautifully, giving it a strong summer feel. Service: I'm not sure if it's because they just opened, but the butler service is fantastic. If they can maintain this level, it will be the best hotel near Wanning. They are on call 24 hours. My friends and I had tea and a fruit platter in the evenings, and everyone was incredibly warm and friendly, like old friends. The owner is also super attentive in greeting guests and handling any issues. There's also a highly recommended old coffee and tea restaurant nearby. (Just a small note: Because it's newly opened, the rooms might have a slight smell from the wood装修. However, I expect it to disappear after about a month. If you stay soon, you can just use a fan to air it out.)"

"Mingsu House is located in the Huarun community, opposite to the Le Meridien Hotel. The community environment is clean and tidy, the room decoration is simple and elegant, very new and clean, especially spacious and transparent, the price-performance ratio is the best, sitting in the living room with air conditioning, drinking cold drinks, and seeing tropical garden landscapes, accompanied by the breeze, branches swaying, the holiday feeling is full, you can lie down all day without going out~ It takes about five minutes to walk to the beach and the sea-viewing pavilion, surfing and various water sports are available, and there are a lot of shells and small snails near the reefs. There are places to eat next to the community, and there is a potato noodle restaurant that is especially suitable for Sichuan stomachs. The Westin Hotel and the larger food street are only about ten minutes' walk away. If you don't want to walk, there is a free butler sightseeing car pick-up service. The butler sister is enthusiastic and patient, and also comes with free cats and dogs. The two docile little guys are so cute. I regretted staying for only two nights. I will stay at her house again if I have the chance in the future~"

"This is the most cost-effective five-star hotel I have stayed in for a whole year. I will leave Wanning soon and stay for one night. I didn’t expect it to be so good. The hotel is very new as a whole, the environment is superb, the room smells good, and there is a delicious fruit macarons. I hope my treasure hotel will not increase the price.
