TianshidemengyanThe hotel is quite close to the beach, but there are no rooms with a sea view. The rooms are spacious, and the balcony has a daybed with drapes, facing the pool, which is quite lovely! However, the hotel has a major issue: a very strong musty smell in the rooms. The first room we checked into hadn't been aired out, and as soon as we entered, we almost choked and coughed from the smell! No exaggeration, it was a really strong, musty odor! We couldn't stand it and requested a room change. The hotel service was good; they immediately showed us two other rooms. Probably because they had aired them out and sprayed air freshener, our new room had no musty smell, and we were happy to settle in. But when we came back after dinner, the musty smell was back, so we immediately opened the balcony door and room door to air it out. For the next few days, we had to open the doors daily to ventilate, otherwise, the musty smell would return. Friends considering booking here, please take this into serious consideration.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their exceptional attention to detail—they were friendly, thoughtful, and always one step ahead in making sure guests felt comfortable.
The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering a great balance of comfort and functionality. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything from the linens to the bathroom amenities felt premium.
The hotel’s facilities are top-notch—modern, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. I especially enjoyed the game room, which was a fun and unexpected bonus. It’s perfect for relaxing or spending time with friends and family.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, modern place to stay with excellent service and thoughtful amenities.

KLorraineOverall, it was a very good stay. Orn was nice and accommodating and even helped move me to a higher floor the next day. Berna from the restaurant was also friendly and took the time to chat, which was really nice.
The room was refreshed while I was out during the day, which was great, but it would’ve been helpful to be informed beforehand since my personal belongings were left around.
Just a small note — the bathrobe wasn’t set up initially, and only two pillows were provided for a room meant for two guests, so I had to request extra pillows.

Memedao## Facilities:
The facilities are quite comprehensive. There's a public swimming pool, lounge chairs, and a small bar. The room has a fridge and a vanity, and the balcony has a drying rack, but no hangers. The air conditioning in the room was very loud and blew directly onto the bed, and the fridge was also noisy.
## Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned daily by the housekeeping staff and kept very tidy.
## Service:
The front desk staff were all very good, and the dark-skinned gentleman at the entrance was also very nice.
## Other:
During our stay, we didn't experience any of the discrimination that others have mentioned. Although our room was on the very end of the 4th floor with virtually no view outside, there were also rooms with good locations given to Chinese guests. Next to us, there was a white family whose room also had a poor location. From this perspective, I wouldn't say it's discrimination against Chinese people.
One more thing to mention is that we stayed from July 20th to 23rd, and there was an empty plot of land outside. At night, various small animals made a lot of noise, which was really disruptive to sleep. During the day, there was a construction site nearby, and work started at dawn, haha. I guess that's not really the hotel's fault, just sharing our experience during the stay.

Guest UserWe had a fantastic stay at the Gig Hotel. The location is excellent - close to Jungceylon, shopping, restaurants, and everything you need. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Breakfast offered a large selection of choices each morning, which was a great start to the day.
One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop infinity pool. The sunset views from up there are absolutely amazing. There are also money exchange and laundry services within about 50 metres of the hotel, which made everything very convenient.
The entrance ramp is a little steep, but we still found it quite accessible with both a walking stick and a motorised wheelchair. The porters were also extremely eager to assist whenever needed.
What really made our stay special was the staff. From the front desk and customer service team to the cleaning and maintenance staff, everyone was always welcoming, cheerful, and willing to go out of their way to help. Their friendliness and attention to detail really stood out and made us feel genuinely valued as guests.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would happily return.

This time in Phuket, I chose the quiet and less crowded Surin Beach 🌅, which boasts beautiful sunsets. It's also closer to the airport without being noisy.
The hotel facilities are quite good. There's a huge interconnected pool area, complete with a two-story spiral waterslide 🛝. I was a bit hesitant to try it at first 👙, but I gave it a go and it was pretty fun! 🥳
They also have plenty of activities for both adults and kids. I even joined a water aerobics class, which was great – perfect after a day of lounging! 😆
As for breakfast, it looked like there was a good variety, but when I actually tried to pick things, there wasn't a whole lot that stood out.
Check-in took quite a while initially, and they even gave me the wrong room.
However, when a family member accidentally scraped themselves at the pool the next day, the staff's attitude in handling the injury was very good.

ZhugexiaonanThe hotel is located on an island and requires a speedboat transfer. First, about the hotel: it's great, and the staff are very friendly. I talked to the front desk about the mattress being too soft, and they immediately brought a brand new, firmer one. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was abundant. Now, about the speedboat: it was a bit uncomfortable. They kept cramming more people in even though there wasn't enough space. While splitting into two boats might increase costs, the experience for guests on a single overcrowded boat was really bad. I hope they improve that. Finally, I just want to say that Koh Racha is truly beautiful, and you really should stay for a night.

Spectacular views of the sea from the rooms make this resort a winner for feelings of peace and solitude. My room included a ceiling fan and a separate rain shower next to the bath tub. A massive free breakfast buffet starts the day for most guests, with changing options on a daily basis. Before breakfast I walked down the steep driveway to the private beach to swim either in the sea or the small pool next to it. At 7 am there is nobody around. One morning I took out a kayak (one hour free) which had stunning panoramic views. There are two swimming pools by the resort’s main building and both are delightful for swimming and relaxing.
Nothing much to do in the evening and the TV channel selection could be expanded with movie channels (e.g., HBO, Cinemax), educational channels like Discovery Asia, and nature channels like BBC Earth and Love Nature. I partook in a 90 minute herbal pack massage which was a bit pricy but very professional. Both lunch and dinner menus have sufficient variety of dishes and food quality was good. Staff were always helpful. In summary, Supalai Scenic Bay Resort is a wonderfully serene experience at a very reasonable room price.

The hotel is nice, secluded: there’s nothing much around it, which can be a good or a bad thing.
I loved the private sandy beach, now it’s high season, and yet there were maximum 10 people at a time. So it feels all for yourself.
I got upgraded and stayed in a little house with private pool and exit to the beach. Thanks for that.
BUT there were 3 things I didn’t like:
1. noise, I don’t know, probably air conditioning or pool cleaning machine of A NEIGHBOR HOUSE, not even mine. In my room the AC and the fridge were also loud, but I turned them off. Yet I could not turn off the neighbor’s ones. At night it was hard to sleep because of that sound.
2. the pool cleaning — mine didn’t have that. The water there is still , was not changes next day, and I am not sure if was changed before I arrived 🤷♀️ In the neighbor pool I can see the water is always floats and changes, in mine not.
3. Every time I bought something and wanted to pay with my card, I had to go to reception. Every meal, every cocktail. That was disturbing. It was my last day of my holiday and I was short on cash. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem to pay by card, I could do it. But every time I had to climb 7 staircases to do it.
