"Stayed here for 5 nights and it was a good experience overall. Check in was smooth and easy. There are 2 buildings in total (Block A and B) connected with a walkway. I got a good room rate which is non-refundable so it's a good deal overall. I'll definitely choose to stay here again and hopefully their housekeeping standards will improve by then.
The good
- The building is extremely new! It's a quiet neighbourhood with other service apartment style hotels (the area well lit at night, dont worry)
- near to 2 metro station (3sam-ga and 4sa-ga) but very limited bus service nearby
- surrounded by a few convenience stores (emart/gs25)
- comfortable bed and pillows
- international plugs
- direct bus from myeongdong street
- there is a few WOWPASS machines in the hotel.
The bad
- They alternate between tidying & changing linens. You'll have to request from reception if you need the linen change daily.
- housekeeping was not up to standard. (1) the floor mat was not given for 2 nights as staff mistakenly gave me another bath towel (2) mugs were washed but not placed back into the original position, it was left by the sink. (3) bath robes were not replaced for one of the nights and I had to call the reception

Have a Starbucks conveniently downstairs and also Haidilao.
The room space is a little small, not much amenities as I think they are an environmental friendly hotel.
Parking requires 20,000krw a day 🥲 even for us whose staying there
But I like the shower gel, would stay there if needed again, price is reasonable 👍🏻"

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay here with my husband. The location is super convenient , right in the heart of the city . and the room was very clean and peaceful. Breakfast was great, and overall, it was absolutely worth the money.
The hotel is very new and spotless, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Just a heads-up: the reception is located on the 13th floor of the shopping mall, and there’s a smoking area with a really nice view over Seoul . definitely a bonus!"

"A modern hotel with check in at 21st floor. Our corner room on 8 floor with a direct view of the exciting busy Hongdae Main Street and view of big screen on the buildings across. Room size is decent to have two big suitcase open and very quiet. The open bathroom design with shower not enclosed is interesting, water pressure and temperature all good. if sharing room with family is okay. Toilet is individual enclosed with heated feature. Room has good amount of interior lights. Mini fridge is small, free bottles water refill almost daily. Two free juice and poky snacks. Bath robe, slippers (a bit thin). Single bed is comfy, a bit on the softer side, pillow and blanket are down.
A Line friend store just opened downstairs. Subway station is few minutes away. Exit 1. Back of the hotel has drop off location. Bags storage pick up must before 10pm. We got late check out by request extended to noon from 11am.
Great experience overall.

"Everything was good. The location. The room. There is a 24*7 convenience store downstairs. There is a machine to change currency or recharge transit card. There are options to book airport taxi or to train station. Euljiro 3 station for Line 2 and 3 is only 7-8 mins walking. There are several cafes, bakeries and restaurants around the hotel. Seoul N tower and Namsan park is also within walking distance. Seoul station is also 10-15 mins by taxi and if there is no luggage or less luggage then one can even walk there while enjoying the streets of Seoul. The hotel is new (2013) and we had a view of the tower and the Namsan mountain from the room. Myeongdong shopping street is also around 10 mins walk. There is a nice rooftop bar and restaurant on the 18th floor."

Be careful when booking here - I always assumed that when you book on trip.com with breakfast it includes for all guest - but here for the first time it's one breakfast per guest.
Although want to point out that we were asked for deposit - asked for credit card whicg we didn't had, asked staff to deposit in us dollars - they said that it isn't possible. But when we said that credit card is not an option - they took the blank for cash deposit immediately.
I don't appreciate lying. Besides that we didn't had much contact with stuff"

"I recently stayed at a hotel ideally situated next to Hongdae Main Street, directly opposite the Lotte L7 hotel. While the main entrance is tucked away on a quieter back street—right across from BHC Fried Chicken—it provides a sense of privacy while remaining close to the area’s vibrant energy.
The hotel is relatively new, featuring a clean and modern design. Lobby staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming first impression. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was expected given the central Seoul location and still offered a comfortable and functional stay. "I always stay in Roynet Hotel in Mapo because of its convenient location and very close to all kinds of public transport. Eg bus stop (many buses to various popular locations in Seoul) and train stations (there are 2 - Mapo and Gongdeok).
Also, it is the first stop for the airport limousine from ICN airport. You don't have to go around the city to reach the hotel.
There are many many many food places within walking distance of the hotel. So many that you will never be able to finish what the area has to offer. There are several cafes too. A Twosome Cafe is just downstairs the hotel. But I personally think that the hotel's own cafe corner near the front desk already serves very excellent coffee. You can save money and get your daily dose of caffeine for free.
There are several 24/7 convenience store and an Olive Young nearby too. A 7 min cab ride to The Hyundai Seoul where you have all the popular brands under one roof as well as a huge food area!
I highly recommend this hotel for your next Seoul trip."

"Having been to Seoul 3 times in last 2 years, this might be the best 4 stars hotel we have stayed. The washing machine in the room was great as it meant not having to share with others. The rooms were a good size and we can open our 2 big 28” luggages. Aircon was strong during our stay in early June. There was a microwave and kettle. 2 small drinking bottles were provided and replenished daily. Coffee & tea were provided though no spoon in one of our room. The toilet bowl is the smart type. Plenty of storage area behind the mirror in the toilet. A reasonable hair dryer was provided. TV has many channels. There is a calendar lookalike which shows the wifi PW. If u flipped it, there are actually a lot of infos provided. 2 GS25 within the same building. 5 mins walk to exit 7 on line 4. There is a lift if u can spot it and it is really helpful if you don't wish to carry your luggages up the train stairs. If u walk towards the other line which is about 10 mins walk away, there are more food options although those just in front of the hotel will be able to satisfy your local food cravings. If I must fault, then I'll say the water pressure is not too strong and it does take some time for the hot water to come to your desired temperature. There are 4 lifts to serve all the rooms in the building. I'll seriously put this hotel in my favourite lists next time I'm in Seoul. Thank you for reading."

"The hotel was perfectly located close to the shopping district in myeongdong . The biggest perks in the bus stop right out the hotel and the train station . Also the airport bus drops and collects you right outside the hotel ! They also have a burger place next to the hotel . The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and has a e mart store on the premises . The room was big and spacious and had the cutest view of the Namson tower . Overall it was a great 6day stay and will definitely come again ."

Cleanliness:
The hotel is absolutely clean. Rooms are cleaned every two days, but fresh towels are provided daily in a basket left at your door, which I found very convenient.
Staff & Services:
The staff are very friendly and cheerful. I requested an extra blanket, and housekeeping delivered it within just five minutes—very responsive and efficient service.
Location:
Excellent location right in the heart of Myeongdong shopping street. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the airport bus station (6001/6015), making it very convenient for travelers.
Room Layout:
I really liked that the toilet and shower are in separate rooms. This made it much more convenient for me and my partner to get ready at the same time.
Added Value:
As a coffee lover, I really appreciated that Nespresso capsules were refilled and restocked every day—a great added touch!
Summary:
Overall, I had a great experience at Solaria Hotel and would highly recommend it.

GGuest User50 feet(!) from subway entrance at Gongdeok, one stop from Seoul Station. Many restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff friendl,y but even oner hour late to checkout costs 11000 Won. Be careful. Elevators are not enough for the size of hotel and you will be waiting many minutes at rush hour. The hotel will keep luggage early or late for you to help with your flight schedule. Room is very clean but loimited amenities. A bit pricey but recommend.

FFREDERICThé chaîne is adversting rewards program and when you ask the front desk a price for repeat guest for my next stay they said that there is nothing !!! The English is poor and nobody explain nothing ! The roof bar is closed and nobody is telling you that it is in refurbishment ! I ‘m distributing in Europe a AI chatbot for hoteliers and really the hotel chain miss this technology to have a better service in the web site and in the hotel - that permits the guest to speak the same language !!!

But the location is convenient. Just a few minutes walk to airport bus stop . Riding bus to the airport is very convenient and comfortable. Highly recommended. Also very near Nambu Bus terminal where you can go to city center very easily.

DD15Great location and excellent value for money! The hotel is just one stop away from Myeongdong, making it very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. While check-in is self-service, there is also a reception available on B2. Additionally, B1 connects directly to the train station, which is very convenient.
The room is suitable for three people, with enough space to open one small and one large suitcase. Housekeeping is provided every two days, and you can also request to have the bed made on those days. The room includes a small kitchen and a built-in refrigerator, which adds to the convenience.
Ground floor has Starbucks and G25 convenience store.

The room was pretty clean, just some hairs in the shower, but the rest was very clean. For a price of 26€/night for 2 people it is an unbeatable room in Seoul. Would return.

Convenient location is the only plus for this property.
You can stay here if you can ignore the counter staff's bad vibes. They are consistent in their unfriendly and unhelpful manner.
The narrow lobby reeks of super strong artiticial chemical fragrance which smells so bad and triggers an instant migraine. I need to hold my nose every time.
One of the cleaning staff also cut corners when they know you are staying longer (two separate bookings of more than one week). Shouldn't it be the opposite?
Very mixed feelings about this place as they don't exude the Korean hospitality and warm vibes received at other properties.
There is no goodwill or compassion. Everything is mercenary. And the entire shower and toilet gets wet and the basin stinks of sewage smell.

AAnonymous UserOnly 2 coin laundry machines in Skypark II, shared with Skypark Central. We informed Skypark II front desk staff that guest did not pickup their laundry after completed, but was told that they could not collect the laundry from the machine and asked us to wait till the guest pickup. There was a notice at the laundry room that staff is able to pickup if the guest did not collect their laundry after completed. It seems like they are unawared of their hotel policy. Staff lack of knowledge, need improvement.

VVinaVanessaStaying at MD Hotel Doksan was a delightful experience! The hotel's proximity to the airport and its excellent access to bus routes that connect to various parts of Seoul made our travel incredibly convenient.
The room was impressively spacious, rivaling those found in 5-star hotels. The king-size bed was wonderfully comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep. The room was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a mini bar, TV, sofa, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom complete with a hot shower, bathtub, and an automatic toilet/bidet system.
We truly loved our room and the hotel as a whole. Additionally, the surrounding area was bustling with a variety of dining options, including numerous restaurants, a supermarket, and charming cafes.
Our stay was nothing short of fantastic, and I would certainly choose MD Hotel Doksan again for future visits. Highly recommended!
