Seoul Hostels

Very close to Itaewon station. I arrived late (around 12am) so they left my key in the locker. Towels are provided. The room has a window but it’s next to one bed and at the end, when the bed is closed with the curtains, there’s no natural sunlight in the room. Overall it’s recommended.

I was able to booked into the hostel in the last minute. Mine was a 4 in one room. This room is a little small compared to the other rooms. Overall the property is clean n well maintained. On the website during booking,it said breakfast is included and there are laundry facilities however once the booking is done and confirmed. Breakfast is not included. My roommate told me the same too.

Because it was one night, it was in the middle of Myeongdong and the location was very convenient. The rooms were also neatly arranged and the front desk was not at night, but it was very pleasant when checking in and out. However, I was worried about people's voice late at night, but I was just satisfied because I only slept, so I want to stay again.

If you stay for 1 or 2 night it could be fine. The location is really nice though it was pretty difficult to find the place at first (firstly i came to the wrong place with the same name). The receptionist leaves at 11 pm or even earlier which was a problem, but i got the keys and instructions (so thank you). There wasn't a window in the room (!), it was supper dirty (!), there was a kitchen and some washing machines (which is great for some). Generally pretty unsatisfied but it was very cheap and the location was great, so it's ok :)

it’s a good hostel, located perfectly, a little up a hill. i loved in the dormitory and the bed was very comfortable, the room spacious and the air temperature really good. as always there were sick people in my room, but that’s what you risk by staying in a hostel. breakfast was very limited, at least you could have provided eggs, but i enjoyed a couple of days of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, however unhealthy they are. the only actual problem was the smell in the bathrooms/showers. when i turned on the water the rooms starts smelling like the sewers right away and i really didn’t like that… the towels are really small so you might want to take your own. the staff were friendly and helpful,eh me borrow a charger and helped other guests with directions

as i checked some of airport bus info via online blogger, claimed is drop off and pick up at same bus station. For safe, i take a photo and asked one of staff - Chris and show my photo to ask, he said ”YES” is this station, every 20mins. As this is my double check it, so i believe will not have any problem. When i check out and go to that bus station to take bus to airport, after 20mins waiting, finally i notice that have a small red sentence mentioned need to walk opposite side to take airport bus to airpot. I understood i have responsibility but when I show off photo to him he say ”YES”!!! if he not sure he can reply me not sure instead of say ”YES” thank you!

This was my first time staying here, but I would definitely like to stay here again! At first glance, the entrance was dark and I wondered if there was really a hotel, but once inside, it was very clean and the staff were friendly, so I had a pleasant stay! I didn't use the laundry this time, but it seems that you can use it from 3pm to 9pm for 2000w each! The toilets and showers are separate in the rooms and are clean, so I used them comfortably! The first night was very quiet at night and everyone was spending their time on their own, so even though we were in an 8-person room, we had no stress at all☺️ However, on the second night, there were people making noise in the lobby until around 2am, and even with the door closed it was noisy because of the hair dryer and talking, so it might have depended on the guests that day. The facility's rules were that hair dryers were prohibited after 11pm and that guests should be quiet, so it probably just depended on luck💦 However, it was really good, so I would like to stay here again! Mixed experience from this place. We had 2 rooms booked and one included a small shower room which I did not use because it was gross, there was lots of mould and it smelt like a public bathroom, so I kept the door shut. The rooms themselves were fine and clean and great that they come with a fridge and plenty of shelves etc to put your things as there isn’t too much floor space. The bathroom was ok and kept clean and there were always clean towels available if needed. There is also a washing machine that can be used for a fair charge. The kitchen was well equipped with a stove top, microwave, hot and cold water and a large fridge and freezer. Unfortunately it was a bit dirty and needed a proper sort out, the fridge was rammed full of things and I’m sure the stuff at the back had been there for months! The desk is only manned a few hours a day and even then you have to search as the staff will be busy doing things. The encounters we had were mostly great, one staff member let us check in early which was much needed after travelling all night! Another helped us find information for a doctor after one of us had some pretty nasty bites (received while staying in one of the rooms 😬). He really couldn’t do enough to help us and sent the address for us to find etc. We did have an issue in the evening once as there was a flood in the corridor right outside my room, as there was nobody about we sent a message which was answered immediately but with ‘we will sort it first thing in the morning’. This has obviously happened before as he didn’t seem worried and the floor in my room was all warped from getting wet. It was dangerous to leave as I didn’t want anyone to slip so we ended up cleaning it up as there was no staff about! Overall it was a good place to stay for the price and the bus stop is just a couple of minutes away. Just needs a good deep clean and more staff presence!
