ADA JLocation wise, Marguerite Hotel is almost perfect - nearest exit is Myeongdong Exit 1 (bonus as it comes with escalator), the Daiso that is a must visit for all tourists, near to Namsan Tower, airport limousine bus (right across Hotel Prince), and of course, just opposite the Myeongdong shopping heaven. You can always return to the hotel to stash your stuffs or for a quick refresh. For Muslim travellers, ”Lepakla” restaurant is just 5 steps away from the hotel, and near to Kampungku and Mari Meokja. Facilities like water dispenser (located at Ground Floor and second floor), tea and coffee is available 24/7. Iron is available upon request, bur ironing in your hotel room requires a bit of creativity as the size of the room could not accommodate luggages, let alone an ironing board. The projector in the room was a nice touch, I asked the receptionist how to use it and he said I need to connect it to my own laptop. But I don't carry HDMI cables around, especially when travelling. So after fiddling with the remote, I found out that I don't need to conect it to my laptop after all, as YouTube and Netflix is already readily available on the projector. The down side is, the size of the room. I managed to lay open my 26 inch luggage, but that leaves me no more room for other things. But the worst part is, the service of the hotel. Due to my bad knees, I have made a request for a room on lower floors via Trip. Upon check-in, I politely requested again for a room on lower floors. However, I was assigned to a room on the highest floor. The staff said nothing could be done, which was really disappointing. The staff offered to bring my luggage to the room, which I was grateful for, however, I had to drag my luggages all the way from fourth floor through the narrow staircase all the way down, resulting damage to my luggage. So if going up and down the staircase (there's no elevator/lift), is an issue, you might want to check out other places instead.

CiqingdaThe view is great, and as a suite, it's generally very good with no major drawbacks. The suite includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour. I didn't take photos of the breakfast, but it was extremely rich and delicious. Afternoon tea is shown in the pictures; there were no alcoholic beverages. The lighting and curtains are all smart-controlled, and there's an iPad by the bed to contact the hotel for requests. The space is also ample. The shower water pressure is excellent; both the overhead and handheld showers can be used simultaneously, and there's a seat. Various types of pillows are provided, such as memory foam pillows. Seoul's air quality is often poor, so the room is equipped with an air purifier, and you can call to have a humidifier delivered.
The location is convenient, with the subway station just a 5-minute walk away.
If I had to point out a drawback, the hotel has indeed been open for a number of years, and some basic features are a bit old. For example, the air conditioning lacks any advanced functions like scheduled shut-off; it only has a single temperature and fan speed setting.

Guest UserOut of the three hotels I stayed at during my trip to Seoul and Busan, this one was by far the most spacious for three people. The room was significantly larger than the other two, impeccably clean with no strange odors, and even had a dedicated area for luggage, so we could open all three suitcases without feeling cramped. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from both Line 2 and Line 5 subway stations. It's also not too far to walk to Line 4, Myeongdong (great for shopping!), and Lotte Duty-Free, maybe about 10-15 minutes. From our window, we had a fantastic view of N Seoul Tower and could even spot the G2 Hotel where we'd stayed previously. There's a GS25 convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, which was handy for snacks, drinks, and instant noodles. Our floor also had a public dining area and even a garment steamer! Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay 🏨. On the walk to Line 2, there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. There's one coffee shop on the corner across the street that serves excellent coffee and has pastries that looked much more appetizing than the trendy Japanese bakery 'Aso**something' behind the hotel. Definitely recommend checking it out!

步行 | TravellerAnother great stay at Hotel the Designers Seoul station. The location is great, perfect for a next day trip starting from Seoul station, and the hotel has excellent amenities nearby. Although it’s a shame that the spa can only be used on the day and instead of till when check-out. If this can be improved then surely more guests will come.

MsivyI highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Seoul. It feels like the heart of the city and is rumored to be a very auspicious location. The hotel's ambiance and design are excellent, especially the city views. I tried the hotel bar and the lobby lounge, and both had a great atmosphere. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I'll definitely be back.

Guest UserFor the past few years when I've visited Korea, I've always stayed at Voco. Firstly, I trust the InterContinental brand. Secondly, the hotel's price is reasonable. Thirdly, the location is excellent; there's a direct shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and subway and bus stations for shopping are conveniently nearby. Fourthly, the hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including local specialty bibimbap. This was my third stay, so I didn't take any photos of the hotel.

K_W-The room is quite spacious, perfect for families with kids. The hotel's location is super convenient; there's a 7-Eleven right outside, an airport express station, and a delicious BBQ place and Olive Young just across the street. The subway station is only a short walk away, and it's just one stop to Myeongdong. Absolutely loved it!

Conveniently located in the middle of both tourist hotspots and local haunts, Grid Inn Hotel provided us with an unexpectedly pleasant one night's stay with the best service I have ever experienced.
The room was cozy and and homely, the air conditioning was as strong as you want it to be, and the beds were comfortable. While the shower drainage is indeed slower than other hotels as mentioned in other reviews, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
The highlight of this hotel is definitely the people. The staff were the friendliest and most welcoming I have ever experienced in all my trips! They also saved my life. I had forgotten to charge up my T money card for the airport bus the next day and the train stations were already closed by then. With only 50,000 won cash denominations, we tried to ask the staff on duty at 2am if it's possible to exchange for some small change. Well...she did so and provided us with different denominations just in case. It was a really huge help!
After we checked out the in the morning, they even personally sent us off to make sure we went the right way to the airport bus stop. It left us feeling really warm inside.
I rarely write long reviews, but Grid Inn Hotel has made our extremely short trip so unexpectedly pleasant it would be a crime not to.
Needless to say, highly recommended and we will be back again. :)
P.s. as a little reply to the other review we saw, the supposedly fishy smells probably came from this little stall that sells mackerels right at the back door of the hotel. Honestly, if you are a fan of fish, those mackerels smell AMAZING even in the morning, and the smell wouldn't get to you at all. We actually find it unfortunate we didn't have time to try it (attached a pic of the shop too!)

Anonymous UserThe location is very nice. You can easily walk to Myeongdong, Namsan Tower, and many restaurants, and transportation is convenient. The staff were very kind and helpful.
However, it’s difficult for me to say this was a good stay overall.
Here are the reasons why:
• Elevator – The elevator is only for luggage, not for guests. This should be clearly stated before booking. As in here it’s show as the property has an elevator without explaining that it is a cargo elevator, it is misleading.
• Security – The room password was simply the room number with an additional “1” added to it. I didn’t leave valuables in the room, so I wasn’t too worried, but it still felt like a weak security system.
• Room Door – There is no additional lock on the inside of the room. While the digital lock can be activated, I never felt completely confident that the door was fully secured.
• Soft Opening Without Notice – When I booked, there was no mention that the property was still in a soft-opening stage. I expected the hotel to be fully operational. Instead, there were unfinished areas, items left around the property, and staff frequently entering rooms after check-in to inspect or photograph things without being asked. Had I known the hotel was not fully ready, I would have considered other options before booking.
• Poor Room Layout – My room was 405, located at the end of the hallway. The neighboring room (404) had a door positioned in a way that it would hit my door whenever opened carelessly. During my four-night stay, the guests next door banged their door into mine repeatedly. Eventually, at around 1 a.m. one night, I had to contact the staff and ask them to address the issue.
• Cleanliness Concerns – The property appears to use the same type of towel for everything. When I asked about a bathroom mat, I was told to use a towel instead. This gave me the impression that the towels were being used for multiple purposes, including drying floors. On top of that, the towels shed lint and left fibers on my skin after use.
• Very Small Bathroom – Please be aware that the bathroom is extremely small. The shower is positioned directly over the toilet, and there is barely enough room to stand while showering. In practice, you almost need to sit on the toilet to shower comfortably.
After two nights, I seriously considered moving to another hotel. The only reason I stayed was because my mother didn’t want to move all of our belongings again.
To be fair, one of the staff members (possibly the owner) sincerely apologized and explained that they were trying their best. I do believe they genuinely care and are making an effort. However, there is still a long way to go before this property is ready to provide a comfortable hotel experience.

Anonymous Userhe room itself was clean, modern, and efficiently designed. While not very spacious, it had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, strong shower pressure, and reliable WiFi. It’s ideal if you’re out most of the day exploring and just need a solid place to rest.
I also appreciated the 24-hour reception and self-service facilities, which made check-in and daily routines smooth and hassle-free. Staff were polite and helpful when needed, though the hotel has a more self-service vibe rather than a luxury experience.
