"It's a very unique hotel, but the facilities can't compare to those of a typical chain hotel. The only downside is the water quality; perhaps due to high alkalinity, the water in the bathroom was slippery. The whole family had a good night's rest and no major problems."

"The staff greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. The room was well laid out and very clean. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was excellent. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Margaret made us feel right at home. The service in the bar was attentive and efficient. The barman was friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast gave us a great start to the day. There was plenty of choice and the service was quick and friendly. Parking on site was secure and there were plenty of spaces. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the near future."

"Often pubs don't get the cooking right for a Sunday lunch and it is easy to feel processed. Quite the oposite. The roast beef was brilliant - tender as well as tasty and our server was enthusiastic, helpful and so attentive. If you like chocolate go for the Brownie pudding - It ouzed! A wonderful experience!! Well done The Bell."

"Just returned from a lovely weekend away with a friend visiting the Cotswolds , the icing on the cake was staying at Well Cottage B&B with hosts Neil and Bridget. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully kept . The quality of the breakfast was one of the best I have had local quality ingredients being used all freshly cooked by Bridget. The hosts Neil and Bridget were absolutely delightful and great fun to be with . Nothing was too much trouble and they very kindly chilled our wine for us . We shall return when returning to the area good secure parking available and taxi costs approximately £12 one way to Cirencester."

"Room smells of damp, Stayed for two nights, No fresh towels for Day two showers, Tried to find someone, nobody on reception for several hours , We dried in wet towels, Breakfast menu Advertised avocado Both mornings No avocado , Had the audacity to charge us an extra £20 for late checkout ( 1 hour) after telling the receptionist what had happened, 2 nights £420 Definitely NOT worth it 😡😡"

"The food was unbearable for the price... £15 for a halluimi salad which was paired with oranges and a few lettuce leaves. No flavour at all. We asked for a medium steak, it came raw red and we couldn't send it back because the kitchen had closed at 8pm!!! Such a shame as the pub has huge potential to be amazing. Unfortunately will not be returning."
