LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit. The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience. Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the old location of Suzhou so the surrounding areas are all full of cultural experiences. The location is ideal for visiting several gardens such as The Couple's Retreat Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Humble Administrator's Garden (all within walking distance). However, it is a bit difficult to reach by car, as you would have to cross a small bridge and go over slightly rough roads (not ideal for multiple luggage, especially large ones). The hotel breakfast is soup noodles, with 8 different options, and it comes with a dessert (mung bean cake, a local specialty). It does get a bit tiring and repetitive once you eat it for a long time though. But, there are plenty of other alternative options up and down the street the hotel is located in. Various food stalls, restaurants, and even bakeries are all located within walking distance. The hotel also provides a ticketed experience to a local activity known as 评弹, a type of operatic singing famous for its soothing sound and tendency to invoke sleepiness. The hotel rooms are neat and kept clean with no odor. Throughout the hotel, a pleasing scent was smelled and it seems that one could buy the same scent from one of the various stalls open on the street. The bathroom amenities include: hair dryer, bath robes, toothbrushes, a vanity set, razor, and a comb (along with another item that slipped my mind). The toilet is automated and has a heated seat. Unfortunately, the showers are a bit difficult to use (low water pressure and difficulty in setting temperature). There are three settings for the shower: overhead, handheld, and spout. The rooms that we ordered (two single beds) included a sitting room furnished with a rocking chair and a mini fridge (drinks inside have to be paid for). The water bottles placed outside the fridge and the snacks on the table are complimentary and free of charge. The hotel also has a laundry machine that both washes and dries the clothes. Sadly, it doesn't properly dry clothes if more than 1.5 sets of clothing are placed inside. Drying racks and clothing hangers are provided for such scenarios. Laundry baskets were also provided. The hotel does not have elevators, given the antiquity of the neighborhood, so heavy luggage and suitcases have to be carried by hand up the stairs. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful with anything we needed. We had a total of 8 suitcases (5 checked and 3 carry-ons) and the staff (overnight as we checked in at around 12 AM) voluntarily led us to the room and helped carry our bags up. When we ran into a problem with the laundry machine, the staff helped clear up the misunderstanding. Attached are photos of the lobby (picture of the table with the tea sets), the hotel room that was booked (the other room looked the same, just mirrored placement), the sitting room, and complimentary food that was provided.

WWangxiaohuatongxueI will always recommend this place without hesitation. Suzhou is truly beautiful; every photo turns out perfectly. Since I was traveling with my parents, the front desk helped arrange a more suitable room, which greatly eased my anxiety. Fearing we might have trouble, the staff even personally brought the room cards to our room. Everyone was so handsome and responsible, and spoke so gently. They even brought me hot water and didn't forget to give me an extra bottle of mineral water so I could dilute it and avoid getting scalded. Oh my goodness, their warm hospitality made me feel so embarrassed! They truly embodied the feeling of 'home away from home'! There's a separate lounge area on the first floor, which is convenient for dining or meeting guests, and there's even a small play area for children. I'll definitely choose this place again when I bring my kids next time. Highly, highly recommend! Wishing them prosperous business!

Room and bathroom were very clean except the furniture need some detail cleaning. There's lift for upstairs rooms. Nice windows view. Water was provided but no coffee or tea. Very nice room decor and I enjoy my stay.

I was moved by the warm heart upgrade of the young lady at the front desk of Orange Bay ✨ This trip to Suzhou Xishan Island, choosing to stay at LIM·Orange Bay full lake view beauty hotel, is really the most correct decision on the trip! From check-in to check-out, the most pleasant surprise is that the front desk lady intimately helped me upgrade to the lake view suite with a bathtub on the viewing terrace for free. The service is directly full and the favorability is bursting! The homestay is located by the Taihu Lake, facing the first-line lake view. The overall design is artistic style. The red brick building is matched with the lake and mountains. It is a large-scale atmosphere. The proper ”Suzhou Xiaojizhou Island” has a sense of sight [( Trip.com )]. When checking in, the front desk lady was gentle and patient, and the communication was particularly comfortable. She also took the initiative to introduce the facilities of the hotel, the surrounding play routes and the best seats to watch the sunset. It was especially intimate. I never expected to upgrade the room type directly for me. This surprise is really heartwarming! The upgraded experience of the suite is directly full! More than 50 square meters of space is spacious and transparent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows introduce the beauty of Taihu Lake into the room, and the 270° view is absolutely amazing. Early in the morning, awakened by the mist and sunshine on the lake, sitting on the terrace wicker chair in the evening, watching the sunset dye the lake orange, the evening wind blowing, all fatigue has disappeared. The room is full of details, equipped with parsley washing, Leica hair dryer, Marshall speakers, the bathtub is facing the lake view, while taking a bath and enjoying the lake, the atmosphere is directly full. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the hygiene is particularly in place, the corners are clean, and it is particularly safe to live. The facilities of the homestay are also very complete, the public area is full of design, the stone wall is matched with wooden dome, and the photos are very good. Breakfast is exquisite Su-style flavor, small wontons, fried eggs with fruit platter, healthy and delicious [( Trip.com )]. The staff is attentive throughout the whole process, can respond in time to any needs, and can store luggage for free, provide parking services, and travel is particularly convenient. I really recommend friends who come to Xishan Island to choose this homestay! This hotel was a great deal, especially since it's so close to Suzhou Station, and tourist attractions are easily accessible. The room itself was pretty good, very quiet, and just right for two people. The projector was a nice touch for watching movies at night. When I checked out, I left my luggage at the front desk, which was perfect for picking up after my outing before heading straight to the station. It was really convenient and quick.

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and the configuration is very high-end. It doesn't look like a B&B in the countryside. The designer's positioning is worthy of the name; The boss is very nice. If you need anything in the room, you can just ask him. You can also ask for advice on travel itineraries and buying souvenirs. Finally, a vacation in Xishan is really good and relaxing. But I didn’t see the sunset this time. It's a bit of a pity. . .
