"I can't say enough good things about this hotel. What really sets them apart is how they handle a situation. When Typhoon Ragasa was making its way to Shenzhen, I was genuinely impressed. Instead of just doing nothing, they called me! The person on the phone was kind, explaining the situation and giving clear, practical advice like making sure the windows are locked. I saw they had even taped up the windows at the entrance as an extra precaution. It immediately made me feel like I was in well prepared place while in an unexpected circumstance.
That same caring attitude is reflected in every interaction with the front desk staff. They are just the sweetest, most genuine people. Whether I was asking when the typhoon was going to hit or when I forgot my keycard in my room, they were always so kind and attentive. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, and the service here truly great!
And let me tell you, don’t walk past the front desk without trying their tea! It’s such a lovely touch. I found myself looking forward to that delicious cup of tea. It’s those little details that really make it a great experience."

The rooms were spotlessly clean, the bedding was incredibly soft, ensuring a truly restful night's sleep, and the soundproofing was reliable – I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. To reach most other destinations, you’ll need to take the metro or enjoy a 20-minute walk—manageable and safe for most travelers.
It’s worth noting that the apartment differs somewhat from the photos in the listing. It is situated on a residential floor with long-term tenants, families, and pets, which adds a lively atmosphere but may not suit those seeking complete seclusion. The kitchen ventilation system appears to work in reverse, occasionally bringing strong cooking smells—particularly garlic—into the room. If you are sensitive to odors, you might want to request a different unit if available.
Depending on the day, you may also hear low-flying airplanes passing overhead—particularly loud on several nights per week. It’s important to be aware that the noise level can be high enough to affect sleep, even with noise-canceling headphones.
The apartment would benefit from some urgent maintenance: there are signs of wear such as cigarette marks on walls and floors, broken tiles, and visible damage in parts of the unit. A thorough deep-cleaning would also help enhance the overall comfort of the space.

JJoyjolieThe hotel is 99% tidy. Staff was friendly. Soundproof is 70% good but if someone talked loudly you will wake up unavoidably. Bad thing happened to my room , when I took a toothbrush to use, I was surprised why it is opened before I use. Since I was tired I almost used it but I suddenly noticed that there was water inside so it is not only opened before but someone used it before and the housekeeper put it in the tray. It was very shocking for me. Imagine someone who is drunk, they will surely put the used brush into the mouth without thinking much.

GGuest UserThe B&B is very close to Dongmen Old Street. I stayed there for the second time. The price was very cheap. The house decoration was old and the air conditioner in the living room would drip. The room I stayed in this time was relatively small. The door stopper on the floor of the room with special decoration was a bit dangerous. I stayed there for two consecutive days. There was garbage, but I didn't notice that there was no paper towel in the bathroom.

MM340460****Absolutely loved it! HYA is always my go-to choice when I stay in hostels, and this particular branch was surprisingly beautiful! It's nestled within a startup park, creating a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. There were many international guests, which was a blast! They even have cats and adorable dogs, plus a great selection of books to read. All in all, I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

The hotel lobby is stylishly designed, the front desk staff are friendly and the check-in is efficient and considerate. The bathroom facilities are smart and modern, the dry and wet separation design is reasonable, and the toiletries are all well-known brands. SSamSmall room and needed to overcome some stairs and a lift to get to reception. However, bed was very comfortable, shower+hot water was excellent. We really appreciated the washing machine and dryer to help wash our clothes for 2 days during our trips to Hong Kong.

Distance is near to shopping and restaurants very convenient.
There's an issue I'd booked a total of 3 rooms. 1 room with king bed (some with window) and 2 rooms with 2 beds with city view windows, but the hotel gave us the 2 rooms without windows due to customers occupying they didn't check out on the time we arrived. While the king bedroom has a window. I was very disappointed. The lady boss agreed to change the next day if there's a vacant room with a window(back street, not city view). The hotel claimed that the info trip.com provided about the room was not accurate, and it wasn't the hotel problem.
Although the room design was quite nice and well equipped but the whole floor smelled smoky. The air ventilation fan was filled with dust and not working well it stopped halfway.
There's no place to walk after opening up the luggage. So I moved the 2 beds together to make more space.
The service is ok. We requested extra towels and wifi connection they provided immediately
The room opposite us has window sleep with the door opened. I saw the window outside the back street.
My sister and old mother inlaw could not stand the strange smell, and I myself was allergic to cigarette smoke, so we decided to cancel the next day.
It's too bad no window. If there's a window, at least we can get some fresh air and will stay for another night. The hotel said it was trip.com giving the wrong details about the room, and we should report to the app customer service.
The lady boss doesn't understand English, so I changed the app into chinese language, and she helped me to cancel the rooms with reason ”the change of trip itinerary” in chinese. I can read a little bit but didn't care to amend the real reason for cancelation anymore as long as we can leave the hotel asap.
To be honest, this hotel is only suitable for smokers. It's not a good choice for family with kids and old parents. Felt sorry for my family for booking this hotel.
