This time, I brought my family to MGM Shenzhen for a beach weekend, and the overall stay experience exceeded my expectations. A special thanks to Kong Xincai from the Guest Experience Department; her service was incredibly thoughtful. She proactively added me on WeChat and clearly explained all the hotel's attractions, activity opening times, and many practical tips. Any subsequent questions I had were answered very promptly, saving us a lot of trouble from having to inquire around.
The room was spotlessly clean and bright, with great attention to detail. The bedding was comfortable, and standing on the balcony, you could enjoy the expansive sea view, with the sea breeze being incredibly relaxing. The hotel's public areas were well-maintained; the pool water was clean and refreshing, and there were plenty of family-friendly activities, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Every staff member we encountered along the way had a smile on their face and was friendly and courteous, truly making us feel the sincerity of their service.
The genuine holiday experience was very pleasant and highly suitable for family travel. I've already recommended the hotel to my friends and family, and next time we visit Xiaomeisha, MGM Shenzhen will still be our top choice.

Guest UserThis business trip, I stayed at Atour. The room's soundproofing was excellent, so it was quiet throughout my stay, and I got some great rest. My room was windowless, which meant I couldn't see the weather outside, which was a minor inconvenience. The transportation was quite convenient; it's close to the subway station, and ride-hailing apps pinpoint the location accurately, making commuting hassle-free. Overall, it's very suitable for business travelers looking for a temporary stay.

JuzimanmanOverall, it's pretty good and worth recommending!~
🅿️Parking: After entering Guanhuhu Village, there's the hotel's own parking lot. Guests staying at the hotel should remember to go to the front desk to enter their license plate number for free parking when checking out.
Service: The service is warm and thoughtful, and they respond quickly via WeChat. All the staff we encountered were polite. The travel photography is genuinely free and not charged, and photos are provided to guests quickly.
Environment: Among the many guesthouses in the area, this one is quite good, though the price is also a bit higher. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach through an exclusive small gate, and the hotel also has a private pool. The overall scenery is lovely.
Hygiene: Relatively clean.
Drawbacks: The soundproofing in the room isn't great. Around 7 AM, we could hear singing and the noise of things being moved around.

Anonymous UserService: Special thanks to Bella and her team! The Ritz's service attitude was satisfying, but due to objective renovation issues, construction noise could be heard on every floor (starting at 8:30 AM, even on weekends). Bella was very considerate in trying to resolve the issue, and I'm very grateful. I believe this also perfectly embodies the Ritz's 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' philosophy.
Facilities: The current Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen is definitely not in its best state. Even in the newly renovated rooms (renovation completed six months ago), there was still a faint smell of renovation. Running an air purifier made it tolerable. The new rooms are indeed spacious and well-maintained, with very new facilities.
Pool: It's very small and the water is extremely shallow. Many people just walk across the pool, and there's no staff to stop them. The 'fire cloud' evening view is beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend it for serious swimmers. If you're just looking for a photo op, it's fine.
Cigar Bar: The staff were very patient, but the quality of the cigars varied, and the cocktails were just average.
Overall, as a first-time guest at the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen, I found their service to be the best among hotels in the Futian district. However, objectively speaking, the renovation definitely detracted a few points from their 100-point service. I look forward to a better experience on my next stay at the Ritz! 🥂

Guest UserHere's a detailed review of my stay:
📍 **Location:**
One of the hotel's best features is its location. It's close to the metro station, and the public beach is about a 5-minute walk away. However, it's often crowded, not a private beach, and lacks any water sports or activities. It's also right next to the Outlet Village, accessible in just 2-3 minutes via a bridge, which is a great perk for shopping enthusiasts.
🏨 **Arrival and Reception:**
The hotel entrance is beautiful and modern, making a great first impression. Upon arrival, the reception area was busy, and unfortunately, we had to carry most of our luggage ourselves. Only one small bag was assisted, while we pushed the rest of our suitcases up to our rooms.
We had booked two rooms and were kindly upgraded to a pool-view room for one of them, while the other remained a mountain view as booked. To be honest, the pool-view room was smaller than the original room we had reserved.
🛏️ **Room:**
The room was modern, elegant, and high-tech, with everything looking brand new. The toilet (excuse the description) was smart, and the hotel provided a Dyson hairdryer and special, high-quality outdoor slippers.
Our room was approximately 50 square meters, making it spacious and comfortable, with two air conditioners providing excellent cooling throughout our stay. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful sleep.
Sound insulation within the room was excellent, and the integrated sound system with the projector/TV was fantastic with great quality. However, when walking through the corridors, you could hear TVs from some rooms.
🧹 **Cleanliness and Service:**
Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was on the last night after the typhoon. During room cleaning, they only cleaned the balcony and emptied the trash, while the room floor remained wet, the bed wasn't made, bathroom tissues weren't replaced, towels weren't changed, and basic amenities weren't refilled.
Overall, the service didn't feel like that of a five-star hotel. Most staff members were either busy on their phones or rushing around the restaurant unprofessionally. One surprising incident was when I went for breakfast about 45 minutes before closing, and when I asked for boiled eggs, I was told they weren't available, even though there was still plenty of time before the buffet ended.
On the other hand, I'd like to thank the receptionist who checked us in; he spoke fluent English and was very helpful. I also appreciate the staff member responsible for the WeChat service, who was very quick to respond to all our inquiries throughout our stay.
🍽️ **Breakfast:**
We stayed for 5 days, and the breakfast was the same every day with no notable variety. For us as Muslims, the options were very limited, mostly consisting of toast, eggs, and fruits. I hope they add more options suitable for international guests.
💡 **Facilities:**
* Curtains and lighting are electronically controlled.
* There's a robot for room service deliveries, which was a nice touch.
* Customer service via WeChat is very quick to respond.
* Upon check-in, we received free vouchers for Wish Tower entry, as well as mini-bar drinks.
* The pool operates from 2 PM to 10 PM. I think the opening time is too late, especially for those who want to swim in the morning.
* The pool is about 120 meters long, with a lifeguard present at all times.
* Pool towels are not provided at the pool area; you have to bring them from your room, which I found surprising for a five-star hotel.
* There's a small but functional gym.
* The pool view is more vibrant and appealing than the mountain view.
📶 **Wi-Fi:**
The internet speed was moderate, sufficient for daily use, but not the best.
🛗 **Elevators:**
There are only two elevators, but during our stay, the waiting time wasn't long.
🚿 **Bathroom:**
The toilet has a heated seat feature but lacks an electronic bidet, which I would have expected in a hotel of this caliber.
👕 **Services:**
There's no iron in the room. Instead, there's a laundry room with a steam iron available for use. Frankly, I was surprised that room ironing service wasn't available, especially for a five-star hotel.
🌪️ **During the Typhoon:**
Our stay coincided with a typhoon, and the winds were extremely strong, making the balcony door shake frighteningly. Credit to the hotel for securing the pool area and closing it to prevent items from flying around. However, guests were unfortunately not informed of any instructions or warnings; we discovered this ourselves. I would have appreciated a message or notice to reassure guests and explain safety procedures.

Pinkk1207I visited InterContinental Dameisha in winter before, and the outdoor pool water was a bit cool. Coming back this summer, the experience has been a complete upgrade. The hotel's location is unbeatable; stepping out leads directly to their private beach. All the outdoor pools are perfect for a refreshing swim in the summer, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I was worried about a typhoon these past two days, but the weather turned out great. Getting into the water a bit later in the afternoon meant less intense sun, and after swimming, sitting by the pool enjoying the sea breeze was incredibly relaxing.
The room's ocean view is stunning, and sitting on the balcony watching the sea is very comfortable. The bedding also ensures a good night's sleep. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The staff were all very polite, and the check-in process was smooth overall.
Visiting in winter offers a quiet ocean viewing experience, while summer allows you to fully enjoy the pools and water activities by the sea. Both offer different but equally suitable ways to relax and unwind. I'll definitely be back.

Guest UserThe laundry service was convenient, and the buffet was delicious. However, the soundproofing in the room was poor; there was a clanking noise in the hallway late at night. My biggest complaint was that there was only one type of pillow available, with no choice between high and low pillows, which negatively affected my sleep.

Guest UserOverall, it was decent. The room environment was fine, but the location isn't ideal for families with strollers, a bit of a hassle.
The service was very good. I accidentally left my earphones, and the staff found them and mailed them back to me. Their service attitude deserves a big thumbs up!
We didn't get to take the scheduled photos, which was a bit disappointing as we missed out on a family portrait.
While the sea here didn't have the rumored 'glassy' effect, it was at least clean and suitable for kids to play in, which I really liked.

JianfeidepangzixianshengI've stayed here before and I'm back again! Highly recommend it, this duplex apartment near Shenzhen North Station is perfect for short trips! The front desk staff are friendly and responsible, patiently answering questions, providing a great service experience. The room is clean, tidy, and clutter-free, with warm decor that feels cozy and relaxing. The duplex layout is open and spacious. It's fully equipped with essential appliances like a fridge, washing machine, and dryer, and the internet is stable. The floor-to-ceiling window offers an excellent view, and the city lights at night are truly mesmerizing. Downstairs, there are all sorts of food options nearby, and it's a quick walk to North Station, making transfers to high-speed rail and subway effortless and time-saving. It meets all your travel accommodation needs, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay.

Kata Lilla TothVery dirty place. The common area for the ladies was full of trash, tables dirty and the bathroom dirty. The beds were hard, matresses very thin and for a tall person above 1.72m it is not advisable. They also have shelves at the head of the beds so if you are talles you will slam your head in those. The balcony was full of dirt and people's clothes. It was very hard to find and the front gate was locked and had to spend good amount of time with the security guards until they understood that I have a reservation. Basically these are big apartment buildings so some rooms will be in complex B, others complex C. The receptionist were kind but very disorganized. People in the common area were super unfriendly and actually rude. All in all, I don't recommend this place.
