Romantic Hotels in Kyoto

Although the accessibility to subway stations and other places was not good, the location of the accommodation was in a residential area, so it had a good local atmosphere. The facilities were good, the service was friendly, and everything was good.

There is no blocking the light through the bathroom into the bedroom. The attached photos were taken at approximately 6am, which is not when we wanted to wake up on our holiday. Otherwise, hotel is good and great public spa on the 10th Floor. Free laundry room too! Just purchase your washing powder from the front reception. Location was amazing and convenient to both Kyoto Station and buses.

They remembered it was my mum’s birthday and prepared swan towels and during lunch prepared a happy birthday message on the dessert (do not have photo on this phone). Good: - Service was exceptional for my stay. - Location as others have mentioned is one of the best hotels in Kyoto - near the station you get off from Osaka - outside cherry blossom canal - near shopping - brought my suit for friends wedding day before just 5 mins away - Room size is good and clean - chair was stained but they replaced it when I mentioned it. - Espresso machine - under appreciated by other hotels but big hit with my dad - very nice touch - TV had screen casting from phone Nothing bad to really say just below points for travellers. - Paid over 10k HKD for 3 nights - to be expected at cherry blossom peak season - Have to ensure you are above 6F for a good view - Foot steps above for my particular room (end room 3 beds) was noticeably bad - hotel really needs to fix this - The shower bath door need to install feature to turn it opaque - 3 beds is usually family and showering is awkward with glass window - No spa or pool. The amenities in the hotel are lacking.

Very satisfied. This price is very cost-effective for a twin room of this size in Japan. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, there are kitchen utensils, the toilet has a drying function, there is a free laundry room on the first floor, and there are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, who are very friendly. I stayed near Kyoto Station in Kyoto before, but this time I chose a place a little further away from Kyoto Station but only a 20-minute walk away. It was very quiet at night and not noisy. The good thing about this newly opened hotel is that its facilities are very new and smart. Not bad.

Hotel rooms in Kyoto are usually a little smaller, but we had an excellent and comfortable stay here. It’s close by to a railway station, and is also closer to the old town of Gion. It’s walkable to some of the best meals we had in Kyoto, and the general environment is just much more peaceful. Inside the hotel, there’s a full onsen experience available for guests, and complimentary welcome drinks on the rooftop overlooking the city. We actually stayed at two different hotels in Kyoto, one next to Kyoto Station, and this one. We much prefer Sora Niwa. I cannot recommend a stay here enough.

The environment is very good. The hotel opened in 2024. There is a hot spring designed by Kengo Kuma. This is my second stay just for these reasons. The disadvantages are that there is a cemetery next to it, so please choose carefully if you are afraid of it. In addition, the flip-flops are a bit useless and can't be worn at all. If you walk to the hot spring area, it will hurt. I have never encountered the problem of flip-flops being difficult to wear in other Japanese hotels. I hope it can be improved.

It is fantastic for stay at this place when you or your best companion need relax trip for kyoto area, Japan. Clean and traditional, looks old but mix with modern  operating system, kind staffs and nice workers, they know what good hotel personnels need to do. It is satisfying and great experience.

Like this room which is quite god price and good service. Location is perfect as well. Definitely will choose this again when going to Kyoto.

Fortunately, I stayed at the famous Park Hyatt Kyoto 701. When checking in at the lobby, the service staff knelt down to serve throughout the whole process. I could enjoy sake, champagne, etc. at the same time. It happened to be a guqin performance at 5 o'clock. The whole check-in experience was smooth and full of senses. When I entered the room and the service staff opened the window, I was intoxicated by the real scene even if I had watched many videos before. During my stay, I saw the red leaves of the ancient pagoda and even the rainbow in the early morning, which was poetic and picturesque. The room supplies are basically the same as other Park Hyatts around the world, and there is no merit or demerit. The breakfast on the second day was mediocre because I had tried the breakfast at Kyoto Yamato before, so I chose Western style this time. The buffet had Chinese buns and rice dumplings, which were quite authentic. The dishes ordered were also amazing, and the udon noodles were delicious. At the breakfast location, you can see the comings and goings of people in Ninenzaka, and even feel that you are part of the street. A small complaint is: there seems to be an exhaust vent for the heating system under room 701. There will be intermittent white smoke floating in the autumn and winter. When the smoke is heavy, it affects the viewing experience. If you want to take pictures, you have to wait for a while. I hope the hotel can make adjustments in the future.

Wonderful hotel that caters to young working adults. One of the few hotels with a gym. Loved the public bath and most importantly, the free hot and cold beverages from the lounge. Only gripe is that there are very strict with not eating outside food at the lounge. I got told off for eating a tiny daifuku lol
