The rooms are very new and very big. The location is very good, it only takes 10 minutes to walk to Nishiki market and shopping street, and there are several cafes around. There are Chinese people on duty at the front desk. There are no curtains in the Japanese-style room, so the light comes in very early in the morning. Those who want to sleep in are recommended to choose a European-style room.

Location is perfect, within train station. There are 2 locations that connect from the train station to the hotel. Breakfast was very good with wide range of Japanese food unfortunately very limited selection of international food. The view from our room 👍.Overall we have a very comfortable stay.

Hotel was super nice! I loved almost everything. The room was very big for Japanese standards and the staff was very professional and fluent in English. Location couldn’t be better, right next to Kyoto Station and a lot of options for shopping and dining. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. They divide it in a western and japanese breakfast. But the western breakfast didn’t really have much western choices. And the coffee was not good. This could be improved. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would recommend it. :-)

Location was great, just 250m from Kyoto Station. And, with a Don Quixote along the way. Reception staff were well-spoken, attentive and quick to assist. What made Rihga Gran different from the 5 other hotels we stayed at this trip was the Guest Lounge, and the complimentary refreshments offered. Hot and cold beverages and local snacks are definitely welcome after long days out sightseeing.

Easily the best hotel that we've stayed in Japan so far. Location is great as what everyone says. Right smack in a shopping district with full of eateries. Too bad I only booked 2 nights in Kyoto. Should have stayed longer. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Guided me through their self check in system which is user friendly as well. Will definitely come back to this hotel again.

I booked a premier twin with city view guest room in this Banyee Tree Group Hotel at Kyoto Sanjo district. The hotel location is very good and just slightly off Kyoto City shopping centres within a 5-10 mins walking distance, which is good for my family since we can do some walking exercise and looking for good japanese food everyday when we are going out without wasting time to find transportation and yet there is a sub-way train Sanjo station just right next to the hotel for linking up to other scene spots and even to Osaka and other places as you wish. The quality of hospitality service is good and some staff are hands-on and can communicate via english. The room interior is warm and comfort to my family and I like its comfy bed and sufficient hot-water rain-shower and both my family and myself had a good sleep there. The Wi-Fi speed is acceptable and the room cleaning service is also above average.

It takes about 15-25 minutes by taxi. It is a little far from Kinkakuji Temple. There is a Lawson nearby. There are not many restaurant options. The scenery is pretty good and a little quiet. There is a home in the hotel - Hotel service: Not bad. I checked in late that day. The hotel front desk called to inquire about the check-in time and was informed that the door would be locked after 10 o'clock. The restaurant pushed chairs and supported chairs (although the Japanese breakfast was not very delicious, an additional ¥1,900 per person was charged). There were free snacks and afternoon tea (wine or tea) before dinner - Hotel facilities: There is a gym. The gym only has a few aerobic equipment, elliptical machines, treadmills, and a few dumbbells on the dumbbell rack. There are not many choices. There is also an ice machine room. The drinks in the mini bar are not charged separately, and there are many drinks. There are also matcha tea bags and a set of tea sets in the room

It's beautiful hotel which has own shuttle buses to Kyoto station. They pay attention to every detail and every aspect. Service is superb. hotel staffs are very friendly and so polite. They welcome you from the beginning outside hotel. Greeting every time they see you. Shuttle buses drives are extremely helpful and friendly.! Breakfast are always great. Morning chef is amazing and kind. Thank you. And please give my best regards to him. Me and my parents had lovely time during stay. And if not because we booked hotel another week at Osaka, we sure would love to stay another week. My father still talk about the trip at your hotel while we stay at Imperial Hotel Osaka. If you want to go to a convenience store or nearby restaurants, you need to walk for more than 10 minutes. The entrance of the hotel is very hidden. When you arrived, you couldn't find the entrance after walking around twice. The hotel is small and there are basically no public facilities. There is no own parking lot, no fitness room, and no large bathing area, except for a relatively high-end restaurant. Breakfast is included, but if you want to eat better, you have to pay extra. No matter how many nights you stay, only one dinner is included. This is the first time I have seen this kind of offer, and it is not an expensive dish. If you want to eat wagyu, you need to pay extra. The price is expensive and the portion is small. The rent itself is two to three times more expensive than other hotels in Kyoto area. When you book a room on the website, there is a balcony in the photo, but when you check in, you are told that it cannot be used. The view outside the window is the sidewalk across the street. The mattress has no elasticity and the more you sleep, the more it sinks. In the Mini bar, you need everything except water and coffee. Needless to say about the fees and prices. I really want to know why they charge this rent. It feels like a money grab. I have said that I will never stay in a hotel of this group in the future
