The hotel is in a quiet alley. The boss and the landlady are both Chinese. There is no communication barrier. They have excellent attitudes, are serious and responsible, and are very enthusiastic. We are traveling as a family, a family of 3, and the boss upgraded the room type for free. The room is fully equipped, clean and sanitary, and there is a public kitchen. It is very comfortable and feels like home. I will stay here again when I come to Kyoto in the future.

Very cozy place. Nice and clean, and fairly close to the Kyoto station. The staff(?) or maybe boss lady (?) at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is a bonus point, as the place we stayed beforehand ran out of storage capacity and we had to arrive early to this place, and to our surprise, the place did not only offer storage service but they also helped to transfer the luggages to the room we stay. Great place, friendly people, nice services :)

Loved the room K21. Short walk from the Gojo station, very nice and traditional room with tatami, we always bought our breakfast from the nearby store and enjoyed our breakfast in the room ( with a nice little table next to the window) before we headed out. In general we loved it! Even tho we were sharing the bathroom but we barely saw anyone else, there were only 4 rooms in the house we stayed. Other guests were polite and kept quiet during the stay, grateful for that!

My friends and I stayed here during our stay in Kyoto. It was a distance away from the city, but the station was just 10 mins away walking distance as well as 5 mins away by bus. It was clean, quiet, and served all the necessities we needed. It was a great place to come and relax after a long day of exploring.

The room is not narrow, it is considered wide for Japan. The facilities are complete. Check-in is not chaotic. You can leave your luggage before check-in and check-out. Leave it before check-in. After 3 pm, the staff will take your luggage to your room. There is a smoking area under the building of the accommodation.

The reception staff were great, proactive in contacting us, and also made an appointment with us to wait for us to check in. There is usually no one at the counter, but you can contact them via Line. The room is fully equipped, you can cook, there is a washing machine, and there is a balcony to dry clothes, but there is no place to sit and eat, the room is too small. For shopping, you can go to the Lawson 100-Yen Supermarket at the entrance of the alley, which is a 3-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The sleeping area is too small for a four-person room, so it would probably be more suitable as a two-person room. It was slightly cramped for the four of us adults to sleep in.

Located in the Japanese-style squatter house in the North District, you can walk to Dade Temple and close to the Kinkaku Temple. There is a shared kitchen, living room, shower (single room) and so on. There are many cups, tea and coffee. There is also a hand-painted huge map on the wall of the living room. It is very beautiful, clean and full of life. The owner is very enthusiastic and serious to tell me the map. If you have any questions, you can ring the doorbell to call the owner, hahahahaha. The room I live in is upstairs, the door can be opened two doors, can be locked.

This is a B&B. Three or four days before check-in, the hotel asked Ctrip to call me. However, when I arrived in Japan, I had already pulled out my domestic mobile phone card, and Ctrip customer service left a message in the background. On the day of check-in, I opened Ctrip and saw the message, but I successfully got the door password and room password. I don’t have to have direct contact with the landlord, which I don’t mind. We booked a family room, with two 1.4-inch beds put together. It was no problem for our family of three. The only thing I need to complain about is that the distribution of sockets on the bedside table is unreasonable, which means there is no place for charging on the bedside table. This is not particularly convenient for travelers who need to charge after traveling. Tokyo actually has a problem too. Maybe all Japanese hotels are like this? The location is very quiet. You can walk to various attractions within walking distance. It's less than 2 kilometers away. If you don't want to walk, you can take the bus to Gion. However, it takes 10 minutes to walk from the B&B to the bus station. Take the 207 bus. . Overall it was a good stay experience.

Hotel with almost everything you need The security is a bit unfortunate, but there are convenience stores and coin laundry in about 10 minutes, and Kyoto Station is 15-20 minutes away.
