GGuest UserThe price doubles and goes up. I have stayed in this hotel many times. It always feels good. I came here again after many years and felt that the overall service and the quality of the food in the hotel were much worse. In particular, the service may be understaffed during the peak season, but it is indeed a very good hotel. Be sure not to make any mistakes when booking a hotel, otherwise he will be unkind and only care about money!

MMiiiii08I brought my parents to Kyoto and we stayed at this hotel. The triple room was incredibly spacious, much larger than the double rooms I've stayed in before. It was clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene. The private onsen comes highly recommended! My parents also had a fantastic stay. All in all, it's a perfect score! Service: Check-in was at 3 PM, and the front desk service was thoughtful and thorough. They explained the hotel facilities very clearly. (If you don't speak Japanese, there are staff who speak English.) Facilities: It's a very traditional Japanese-style room, which my parents loved. The public bathing area was also very clean, and the private onsen was super comfortable. The hotel signage was clear, and every detail was meticulously thought out – really impressive! Breakfast: The buffet breakfast offered a wide and diverse selection, with both Western and Japanese options, and plenty of delicious desserts! We were absolutely stuffed~

FfongThe rooms are decent. There's a communal bath, which is kind of like a hot spring, though the water is just regular tap water – it was clean and hygienic. On the second floor, there's a ping-pong table, an all-you-can-drink bar, and a small kids' play area. It feels like a friendly little community. The staff are all polite and attentive. There's an aquarium very close by, and the hotel has a back entrance for direct access. We didn't realize this until we walked all the way around in the rain! There's a surface parking lot if you drive, costing 2500 yen per day for unlimited use, but the small road leading in can be a bit tricky to find.

AAdamchaiRight outside is the station, and the hotel is nestled within Umekoji Park, perfect for a stroll. The aquarium and railway museum are just a short walk away, making the location excellent. The hotel's decor is very comfortable, clean, and tidy. You can enjoy a bath, and in winter during the Christmas season, there's even ice skating. During the day, there's a Christmas market right outside, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere.

__WeChat20061****Hotel Granvia's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right on the second floor, accessible by elevator on the left once you enter the main entrance of Osaka Station. Plus, there are several other entrances, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. Even just around the hotel, there's so much to explore. Inside the station, you'll find both Isetan and Porta shopping malls. The ramen at Ramen Street on Isetan's 10th floor is also delicious – I recommend the tantanmen; it's spicy and incredibly satisfying! When checking out, I bought a Hello Kitty Haruka e-ticket directly on Klook, and I could just scan my phone to enter and exit. The entrance is also right downstairs from the hotel, directly opposite the Kyoto Station entrance. If it's your first time visiting Kyoto, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Granvia.

GGuest UserOnline hotel bookings can often feel like a blind box draw, but Dusit Thani was definitely the right pick. Every staff member I encountered had an excellent attitude, the room was spotless, and even though the turndown service only provided a bottle of water, it was a pleasant and thoughtful touch. Thai brands truly excel in their service consciousness and aesthetic sense. The room itself was incredibly comfortable, and with no other guests in the public lobby areas, I thoroughly enjoyed the bliss of reading a book alone.

GGuest UserThe room is a duplex, with two floors. The large bathtub with circulating water is downstairs for bathing, and the upstairs is for sleeping. On the first day, we arrived late and couldn't rent a kimono, so the store owner gave us yukatas, which are almost the same as kimonos. At least we got the experience. It rained that night, and we ate and drank in the house, listening to the sound of rain in the yard. It was particularly healing. The breakfast the next morning was particularly rich and I highly recommend everyone to experience it. It's authentic Japanese cuisine, the tamagoyaki is especially delicious, and there's also grilled salmon and soup. In short, it's very rich. I feel that the store owner really puts a lot of effort into it. What I care about most when I bring my children is cleanliness and hygiene, a good environment, and excellent service. I'm not very good at English or Japanese, but the store owner was very patient in answering my questions. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Japan.

Gglow28Extremely convenient location. Hotel 3F connected to the department store. Department store lift to B1 connected to Hankyu railway to Osaka. Easy to find taxi outside of the hotel. Many restaurants around the area. The room is big in Japan standard. Our room has a cozy sofa corner. The shower and deep bathtub is great for relaxation. The hotel breakfast is also nice and offer a great selection of food. Extended check out time cost 2000yen per hr. It allows flexibility.

AAhmet ZekiDear Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard. However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements: 1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Once again, I want to thank you for the exceptional design and comfort provided during my stay and hope that these suggestions contribute to further elevating your standards. Best regards, next visit to Kyoto. HHaoyunJeffI stayed over the weekend, paying 1000 RMB for a room with breakfast, and honestly, the value for money was terrible. It was double the price of a weekday stay. The room's decor felt dated, and despite being spacious, it had a strong guesthouse vibe that really didn't live up to its five-star luxury hotel status. Breakfast was just average, with a limited selection and particularly sparse fruit options.
