Miyako City Kintetsu Kyoto Station

The hotel is conveniently located near an aquarium and a railway museum, both within walking distance. Our room overlooked the railway, which was quite enjoyable. It's also surrounded by popular shopping centers like Aeon, Avanti, Isetan, and Yodobashi, with easy access to Porta and the underground passage. Plus, it's close to both the Shinkansen and JR lines. The afternoon tea was excellent and definitely worth booking again. We also took the city bus to Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

The hotel is right next to JR Kyoto Station, a 5-minute walk from the exit, though it took me a while to find it. Check-in is after 3 PM, but you can store your luggage beforehand. The room size was moderate, and the amenities were very good. There are so many places to eat and shop inside the station, and Kyoto Tower, Skyway, and Kyoto Theater are all nearby. Two days aren't enough to explore everything!

The room wasn't as big as I expected, but the location is incredibly convenient. It's right outside the train platform. When visiting Kyoto, it's really best to stay at Kyoto Station, or alternatively, Shijo-Kawaramachi.

This was my second stay here. This time, I booked a larger, newly renovated room. The location is super convenient for JR lines, and there are many buses available to get to tourist attractions. The renovated room type is really nice.

First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right inside the station. My room was on the top floor and I didn't experience any noise. Besides being a bit small, everything else was great. There are vending machines on every floor and laundry service is available, which is a big plus! 👍

Came here for a live show. The hotel is super convenient, right across from the Shinkansen exit, just down the stairs. There's a Uniqlo, drugstores, a supermarket, and even Kitayama Matcha nearby! The room was really comfortable too. I'll definitely be back!

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and its location right inside Kyoto Station is incredibly convenient. You don't really hear any train noise either, which is great. The rooms and overall environment are excellent. My only minor complaint is that the front desk staff seemed a bit perfunctory.
