"I first stayed at Shuiyunlan the year it opened, three times in a row, because I was handling some business in Wuhan. I've had it saved ever since. This time, when I traveled to Wuhan with a few friends, I chose to stay here again. The hotel's location is excellent – very close to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, many famous snack shops, and also to Jiangtan, Jianghan Guan, and the ferry terminal. They now even offer coffee and small pastries in the lobby. The service is, as always, outstanding; everyone is diligent and dedicated. This consistently high level of service is something you rarely see in other hotels. I've visited Wuhan countless times, and my friends thoroughly enjoyed this trip, which is important! Keep up the great work!"

"The hotel is nice and worth the price. The room was same as shown in the official photos. It’s centrally located in the Jianghan Street Market, so everything is nearby—from dining and shopping to sightseeing spots. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the hotel is on the third floor and there is no elevator. Everything else is perfect"

"The environment and hygiene are excellent, with relatively new facilities and spacious rooms overlooking the CBD. It's incredibly convenient for getting a US visa. Breakfast offers freshly made hot dry noodles and local stir-fries, with a good variety. The only minor inconvenience is that food delivery and packages can only be sent to the basement. While the rooms are on the 40th or 50th floor, you can call the front desk to have them picked up and delivered to your room, so the service is still quite good."

"I chose Tingtao No. 2 based on reviews saying its facilities were newer. However, the front desk service at Tingtao No. 2 truly has that state-owned enterprise vibe 🥹. Before arriving at the hotel, I couldn't find a walking route from the subway station to Tingtao No. 2 on my phone's map, so I called the front desk. To my surprise, their directions were completely wrong! At the time, a mature-sounding female voice from the front desk told me to take the 'Provincial Museum exclusive passage' after getting off the subway. But after exiting the subway, I couldn't find anything labeled 'Provincial Museum exclusive passage.' I called the front desk again under the scorching sun, and this mature-sounding female voice actually argued with me. Just then, after exiting the subway, Huangli Road appeared. I asked if I should just follow this road, and described the shop names I saw along the way, including whether to turn at intersections. This mature-sounding female voice from the front desk actually said she didn't know 🤷. I asked the front desk to transfer me to someone else. A younger female voice, with a much better attitude, then told me how to get there and seemed quite familiar with the surroundings. Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, since the hotel is quite large, I saw there was an electric shuttle service. So I called the front desk to ask for a shuttle. After waiting for 3-5 minutes, no car came. I called the front desk again, and they gave me the driver's mobile number, telling me to contact the driver myself. I called the driver's phone, and then a fully loaded electric shuttle appeared in the distance, telling me that was the car. After I got on, it dropped me off at the back entrance of Tingtao No. 2 and then drove off. I had to carry my luggage up the stairs from the back entrance to reach the front desk of Tingtao No. 2 🥲. The hotel environment is excellent, the breakfast is good, and the facilities aren't old. During my stay, there were groups for conferences, training, and various activities, but it wasn't noisy. I apologize for having high expectations for the hotel, but I truly can't praise the front desk service. Perhaps the front desk at Tingtao No. 2 (especially an older female receptionist) thought my individual booking wasn't worth serving 🤣."

"This hotel is a 5-minute walk from the subway station, located on a commercial street close to the Yangtze River, offering river views. Right outside the hotel is a classic spot for Wuhan's New Year's Eve countdown, attracting many visitors. The hotel is housed in a century-old building, featuring a distinctive Republic of China-era design that's perfect for those who love taking photos. On the day I checked in, I even saw a short drama film crew. The staff were all very nice, and they even prepared local Wuhan specialties as a farewell gift when I checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch."

"The environment is fantastic, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are beautiful. Sitting by the window, enjoying the view and eating is truly delightful. It's also very close to the attractions we visited. The room even has a large bathtub, and a washing machine, microwave, and umbrella are all provided. The host's service is exceptional; they respond to messages very quickly. We initially had trouble with the washing machine, and after messaging them, the cleaning lady came over right away. The host also thoughtfully sent us a Wuhan travel guide, which was incredibly considerate!!!"

"I had a layover in Wuhan for a night on a business trip and blindly picked this hotel because the price was right. I didn't have high expectations for this price point, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good my stay was! Turns out, it's part of the international hotel brand Radisson. The breakfast hours were a pleasant surprise: 7 AM to 12 PM. No need to rush in the morning, and there was a wide variety of food, including freshly cooked noodles, as well as the usual hotel breakfast items like bread, fruit, salad, coffee machines, some Chinese pastries, and hot Chinese dishes. The room amenities were perfect for my personal needs. There was a washer-dryer combo, and they even provided laundry pods – anyone who travels for business knows how great it is to be able to do laundry in your room without waiting in line at the hotel laundry room! The room also had a standard-sized refrigerator (not one of those tiny ones), a Dyson hairdryer, and a wardrobe with bathrobes and a steam iron! Even the toiletries were Malin+Goetz! This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel for around 300 yuan a night that offered all these amenities. Are hotels in Wuhan all this competitive, haha? The bedding was quite comfortable (I personally prefer softer beds and pillows). The staff service was also good; they even delivered takeout to the room (it seemed like there was a staff member specifically helping guests and delivery drivers with the elevator at the entrance). Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Wuhan.
