"I was so touched! Right after I got off the high-speed train, the inn owner was already waiting for me by the roadside in his car. Since cars can't enter the ancient city gate, the owner switched to an electric scooter and continued to take me to the inn, free of charge. The proprietress helped me carry my luggage to the second floor, which I felt really bad about, but was deeply moved by! I absolutely love the style of this room. After check-in, the proprietress grabbed a map and meticulously explained tips for exploring Pingyao Ancient City and important details to note, making everything very clear. I love Shanxi; I felt such attentive care here. When it was time to leave, the owner offered to drive me to the high-speed train station again. I felt embarrassed and decided to leave early and take a taxi to the station myself, then informed the owner via WeChat. He immediately asked if I had gotten into the car yet, offering to drive me if I hadn't. Oh, I was so moved! I told him I had really gotten into a car and didn't need him to drive, wishing his business prosperity and continued success! For anyone planning a trip to Pingyao Ancient City, choose this place; it's very reliable, you won't go wrong!"

"Staying at Pingyao Yunjincheng Hotel was an amazing experience! The traditional courtyard layout was charming, and the heated 'kang' bed in the room was both cozy and unique. The Chinese-style furniture and calligraphy artworks added an elegant touch throughout. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with a full set of amenities. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, offering to help with luggage and providing tips on exploring the ancient city. They made us feel right at home, even though we were far away. Next time I visit Pingyao, I'll definitely choose Yunjincheng again!"

GGuest UserI've traveled to many places, and this stay was truly wonderful, exceeding my expectations. Even before we arrived, the owner's thoughtfulness impressed me. They added me on WeChat to communicate in advance, and when they learned we had an elderly person with mobility issues, they arranged a wheelchair for us, saving us a lot of trouble. I'm so grateful! 🙏 The room hygiene was impeccable; every nook and cranny was spotless. I'll let you in on a secret: the owner is a Virgo, haha! This is a guesthouse with warmth and a personal touch. Go for it, everyone!

CCristinaA very beautiful hotel that takes you back in time. The hotel is a work of art and has also a very relaxing outdoor traditional garden. We opted for the traditional beds and we had a great time. Service was spotless and very attentive. The hotel is located right by the main streets and you can walk to the attractions easily. GGuest UserI specially rushed to travel during the off-peak period after the Spring Festival to take the dog out for fun. After booking the room, I added WeChat with the landlady. She thoughtfully sent us the navigation location and a long route to get there. She also helped us book a drama to see Pingyao again. We called her the day before departure. I also contacted the hotel. I felt it was very reliable before going. They arranged to pick us up on the day. Because we were not familiar with it, we needed someone to guide us. However, the location of the inn is very close to the navigation gate and it is very dog-friendly! Very considerate. You can adjust the temperature of the central air conditioner in the room. It is hygienic and clean. The location of the accommodation is very close to South Street and relatively quiet. Because there are not many guests traveling during off-peak hours, we were upgraded to a room type for free. We got a sticker and drew the location. , independent wifi in the room, free access to mineral water, the store staff is really nice! The dog friends who recommended it to me hope that they will all come and check in with their dogs, haha! Almost everything I asked for was answered. Before I left, I said that there was really no need to send us away. It was very close, but the boss lady still asked us to send us away in the scenic spot car. I hope the business is prosperous and the store is caring!

GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful, specially the patios. The location is just 10 minutas walking from the North Gate of the wall. In reception they do not speak English, but they were very helpful with the translator. However, if you really need to rest, this hotel is not made for you. At 7am there were already families and kids shouting and playing in the patio. Even with taps, it was too noisy to keep sleeping. The hotel is also offering folkloric dressing and photos shoots, so you might find people take pictures in front of your room anytime, also at night with flashes

From travel and transportation to travel guides, he patiently answered questions and gave detailed introductions. The inn has an independent small courtyard. We live in a kang bed. The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy. The only shortcoming is that the water storage capacity of my water heater is too small😅Go to the ancient city for a walk. The boss also emphasized not to shop in Jingcheng. GGuest UserI was on a temporary business trip and took a boat trip to visit the ancient city. Because I was short of time, I couldn't stay overnight, but it was too sunny during the day. After discussing with the boss for a long time, I agreed to stay for a few hours. Haha, I was forced to be given an hourly room. I feel that this small courtyard is quite nice. The only shortcoming is that it would be better if there were more green plants. I sat and drank tea with the boss and chatted until it cooled down before going out. This inn is very convenient from the main street light show and everything. The boss also avoided a lot of pitfalls. It has good reviews.

The location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the north gate of the ancient city, close to the train station, especially convenient for travel. The room was clean and tidy, the decoration was new, the bedding was comfortable, the soundproofing was good, and the rest was very safe. The front desk is warm and intimate, actively recommend the play guide, free parking is very convenient, cost-effective, come to Pingyao preferred this, will stay next time!

The pictures made it look luxurious and spacious, but it was actually very small, located in a remote alley. Even speaking loudly with a group of friends was difficult; we were stopped multiple times. This is my first negative review; it ruined my trip.
