GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely fantastic! The amenities and the butler service were top-notch, truly exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pingyao Ancient City. 1. They provide high-quality toiletries from Le Labo, mouthwash from Appelles, and a Dyson hairdryer – truly premium personal care products. 2. Since it was the off-season, the hotel upgraded our room. And due to an unforeseen issue on the first night, they upgraded our room again, showing their excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Upon check-in, they immediately offered food recommendations and a travel guide. 3. Every afternoon, we received a delightful delivery of fresh fruit, selected snacks, and a heartwarming sweet soup. It was a lovely touch that made us feel very cared for. Plus, breakfast could be delivered to our room to enjoy at our leisure. Overall, this was an absolutely amazing stay!

The rooms are spotless, fully smart-enabled, and stylishly designed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, with a choice of two pillows of different firmness levels. The mini-fridge also comes stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks. 2. The personalized and attentive service is a highlight of this boutique hotel. The staff were warm and proactive. Since we had an early train, they even prepared breakfast for us in advance. On our arrival day, they offered us delicious wontons for lunch to tide us over. 3. The location is excellent, not far from the North Gate, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient city. 4. The hotel provides complimentary transfers to and from the train station in a Mercedes van equipped with massage seats – they've really invested in top-notch amenities. 5. The value for money is outstanding. With such amenities and service, it's absolutely worth every penny. I'll definitely be back!

The service was impeccable; after parking at the north gate, two hotel staff members met us with a cart to help with our luggage. They then escorted us on a scenic vehicle directly to the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is incredibly picturesque, perfect for photos in traditional attire. It's quiet and elegant, truly making you feel like you've stepped back in time. All the facilities are new, featuring smart home technology, yet maintaining an authentic ancient Chinese style. The breakfast was plentiful, light, and nutritious, offering a good variety of meats, vegetables, and whole grains. Other meals can be ordered à la carte. I really love this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to Pingyao! Many thanks to all the hotel staff for their warm hospitality!

GGuest UserMy mother and two aunts came to Shanxi for a trip before the May Day holiday, and their first stop was Pingyao Ancient City. When I started looking for a hotel for them, I immediately noticed Qianxiqing, which is very close to the North Gate of the ancient city. Its antique decor perfectly matches the characteristics of the ancient city. After browsing further, I found that the hotel facilities were very new and high-end, and they also offered services like station pick-up, so I decisively made a reservation. On the day of their arrival, I communicated with the owner in advance. The owner was kind, amiable, and meticulously provided me with an introduction, and understood the details needed for the pick-up. For the pick-up, the owner personally used a Mercedes-Benz van, which was quite a high-class touch! Upon arrival at the hotel, he patiently and thoroughly explained the hotel's features and provided information about some attractions in Pingyao Ancient City. He even contacted me after my mother and aunts went into the ancient city to inform them about some things to pay attention to while exploring. He was truly thoughtful. The next day when they checked out, the owner personally drove them to the North Gate. Even though it was a short stay of less than a day, it truly demonstrated the highly professional standards and warm, attentive service of this hotel, the owner, and their team. It made me feel incredibly reassured. The next time I bring my family to visit the ancient city, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

GGuest UserThe room is the same as Atour. It is large and spacious, the bed is very comfortable, the room is cleaned very well, and the location is also good. It is right next to Pingyao Railway Station and close to the west gate of Pingyao Ancient City. It is also convenient to see Pingyao and see Pingyao. You can walk to it. The family room I booked includes breakfast for two, and the front desk also added breakfast for the child for free. The front desk service is in place. They booked a chartered car tour service for Pingyao Ancient City for us. There were 8 of us, and the price was 270 yuan, including the guide's explanation and the sightseeing car. It was a good deal. There were elderly people in the group, and we didn't want to work too hard. Fortunately, we made an appointment, otherwise the young people wouldn't be able to bear it. The ancient city is not small. Without a guide, it was a bit confusing to find the route. It was easy to go the wrong way. I walked around at night and got a general idea of where to go. When I checked out, they proactively reminded me to scan the code and enter the license plate number. Free parking was provided, and souvenirs were prepared. It was very good. I will renew my I8 reservation if I have the chance.

GGuest UserPingyao Yundingxuan truly exceeded our expectations! This ancient courtyard, a former Shanxi merchant's residence, has an incredible atmosphere, perfect for amazing photos. The location is superb, right on West Street in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of 'Impression Pingyao' and all major attractions – super convenient for sightseeing and dining. The hotel offers free pickup and drop-off at the city gate, helps with luggage, and provides thoughtful and attentive service. They patiently explained sightseeing routes and even assisted with discounted bookings for 'Impression Pingyao' tickets, saving us time and effort. The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The courtyard is quiet and tranquil, making it a very reassuring stay for both elderly guests and children. The amenities are comprehensive, and the breakfast is authentic. It offers incredible value for money. It's definitely the top choice for family trips to Pingyao. Highly recommended; we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Pingyao.

Also within 5-10 min walk from the “New East Gate” which is important if you want to take a taxi for sights outside the walled city. Note outside vehicles are not allowed to get into the walled city. Extremely helpful staff and the high speed rail station to hotel transfer service is much appreciated especially since outside taxi cannot get into the hotel location. We speak mandarin and found the ancient city tour guides well worth the money. Look for the guides with the standardised purple windbreakers in winter. Standardised price but worth every cent. Glad my family took the detour to Ping Yao

It's about an 8-minute walk to the North Gate of the Ancient City, saving us a lot of unnecessary walking when traveling with kids. Parking was also convenient. Check-in was incredibly fast; knowing we had children, they proactively provided slippers and toiletries for kids, and even gave us two extra bottles of water – such thoughtful details! Any needs we had during our stay were met promptly and efficiently, without any sense of being perfunctory. The hotel has a separate restaurant that's reasonably priced and delicious, so we didn't have to go out. The breakfast selection was excellent, with freshly ground coffee, fresh milk, and local Pingyao snacks – a well-balanced and nutritious meal that satisfied both the elderly and children. We even bought local specialties at the hotel, and the staff gave us a bottle of Pingyao vinegar upon check-out. Oh, and there's even a small swing on the fifth floor! It was so relaxing to sit on it and enjoy the breeze during our stay. Overall, the hotel offered exceptional value for money. We didn't have to worry about food, accommodation, or transportation – it truly provided a ”one-stop solution,” making it perfect for road trips, family trips, or trips with elderly guests. I'll definitely choose this restaurant again next time I'm in Pingyao. I've already recommended it to my friends who are planning to go!
