"[Solo Travel / Budget-Friendly Gem 🎯 Tested & Approved for Safety and Thoughtful Amenities] I recently stayed at a modern, high-value accommodation in Gangnam-gu, perfect for travelers who value independence and safety! 💡 Pleasant Surprises: Comprehensive Access Control 💳 | Keycard required for all entry/exit. Elevators serve floors 5-7, making it very secure for solo travelers. 24h Self Check-in 📲 | Super high-tech! But if you really need help, the staff are always enthusiastic and willing to assist. Amazing Common Area ☕️🔌 | Water dispenser, coffee machine, microwave – all available. Even the seating areas have charging ports. With Type-C and USB charging available, you don't need adapters; just plug in and recharge your phone. Girls' Best Friend 🎀 | Basic toiletries provided, and they even have a hair straightener and hairdryer ready for you! Under-Bed Luggage Storage 🧳 | Even in standard rooms, each bed has a dedicated space underneath for luggage, which greatly enhances the sense of space. 📌 Honest Feedback: Upon check-in, there were some minor uncleaned stains on the pillowcase, but thankfully, the overall environment was still clean and tidy. Also, luggage storage service is only until 6 PM, so keep that in mind. Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. The convenience and sense of security are definitely worth every penny!"

Hotel near Myeong-dong,Seoul
When staying at UH Continental SeoulCenter, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore Jung-gu. The property's front desk offers service in 4 languages, including English. This property also offers free luggage storage.

"The location is excellent, right next to Lotte World, and a 10-minute walk from Myeongdong and Shinsegae. For the price, the rooms are quite large, and the newly renovated facilities are clean. The front desk has a Chinese check-in page, but the room's central control and TV only have English and Korean language options, and the TV screen mirroring kept disconnecting (I'm not sure if it was a problem with our operation). It seems their ability to accommodate Chinese guests needs improvement, but that's understandable given it's newly opened. The service attitude was still very good."

"Upon check-in, a friendly staff member assisted me and provided a thorough introduction to the environment and facilities. The female guest rooms are on a different floor from the male ones, offering more privacy. The room itself was generally very clean, and the personal space was larger than I expected. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and the toilet and shower were in separate areas. They also provided plastic slippers, which was great for someone like me who's particular about bathroom cleanliness, haha! There's space under the bed for luggage (a large suitcase and a carry-on fit perfectly for me), and they even have a trash can and a night light. The soundproofing was decent, and since everyone is here for travel and generally tired, I pretty much fell asleep instantly and didn't hear much noise. Plus, the common area is great for eating and making instant noodles – a wonderful experience overall!"

Hotel near Dongdaemun Market,Seoul
HiMate Dongdaemun is a newly built high-rise accommodation located directly across from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park, offering an ideal base for short stays in central Seoul. The property is just a 1-minute walk from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Lines 2, 4, and 5), providing easy access to major areas such as Myeongdong, Jongno, and Euljiro. An airport limousine bus stop (Route 6001) is also located nearby, making airport transfers convenient. The property operates 13 rooms across the 10th and 11th floors of a modern building equipped with an elevator, allowing easy movement with luggage. All rooms and common areas are clean, practical, and well maintained, with ceiling-mounted air-conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. HiMate Dongdaemun is a comfortable and efficient choice for travelers seeking a well-located, clean, and convenient accommodation for short stays in Seoul.

"This was a great place for a solo traveler! The location was perfect, right in front of DDP. It's in a multi-use building, so it might take a little searching to find it. Opening the entrance requires a touch panel, which might seem a bit tricky at first, but it's not difficult at all. The shower and toilet are in the same area with no partition, which some might dislike, but it's manageable if you don't mind things getting a little wet (lol). They provided a toothbrush and two bottles of water. The hairdryer was a Dyson. Even with the AC on, the room still felt a bit warm. My room was on a different floor than the check-in, but the lower floor had amenities like a microwave and coffee, and it seemed like the kitchen and other facilities were freely available for use!"

Hotel near Myeong-dong,Seoul
Located in Seoul's Myeongdong Station and Chungmuro Station, a two-minute subway ride away, it takes 15 minutes to get to Myeongdong. Each room is equipped with an independent air conditioner, heating, free Wi-Fi, and cooking utensils. Each room has a dedicated kitchen and a dedicated bathroom, and daily simple cleaning is provided. (EcoClean: replacing towels, providing bottled water / room Cleaning except changing blankets) Even in busy downtown Seoul, you can get a very quiet sleep on the back of the boulevard.

"## City Center Room Review This accommodation is located in Chungmuro, close to Chungmuro subway station. ### Getting Around **Subway:** * **Blue Line:** One stop to Myeongdong or Dongdaemun. * **Orange Line:** Very close to Euljiro 3-ga, Jongno 3-ga, or Anguk. You can also take this line directly to Apgujeong and Gangnam without transfers, which is very convenient. **From the Airport:** Coming from the airport was easy. On this trip, we took Airport Bus 6015 and got off at the Chungmuro stop (Exit 8 of the subway station). You'll spot a KFC right at the station. Across the street, there's an Olive Young, Burger King, and BHC Fried Chicken. From the bus stop, it's about a 300-meter walk (around 2-3 minutes) to the accommodation with your luggage. **To the Airport:** For the return trip to the airport, you can wait for the Airport Bus at the same stop. Buses come every 10-15 minutes. You can use your T-Money card to pay for the return journey. (If you don't have one, you can use a credit card, but the driver might hold onto it until you reach the airport, where they'll swipe it for the fare and then return it to you). **Check-in/Check-out:** There's no physical lobby, but there's a luggage storage room. You can communicate with the admin via chat, which is quick and convenient. Room access uses a digital door lock (the admin will provide the code before you arrive). ### Room Review The room was clean and came with a fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine and refrigerator. However, there's no closet for hanging clothes. There's one queen bed and one 3.5-foot single bed. There's enough space at the end of the bed for two 29-inch suitcases without feeling cramped. There's a small dining table next to the bathroom. The walkway might feel a bit narrow if there are three people staying. Two complimentary bottles of water are provided daily (but you need to notify the admin via the QR code on the dining table). The bathroom is a decent size – not too small, not too big – perfect if you're not a very large person. A hairdryer is provided. Towels and hand towels are located behind the sliding mirror in the bathroom. ### Overall Impression Overall, I'm satisfied with this accommodation. Transportation is easy and convenient. There are a variety of restaurants around the area. Across the main road, you'll find Korean BBQ and other Korean restaurants to choose from, in addition to fast-food options. You can easily walk to Myeongdong and Jongno 3-ga from the hotel, which is about 1-1.5 km and takes around 15-20 minutes (I tried walking when the weather was nice and cool)."

"Forgot to take photos, but the hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's very clean and smells great, no weird odors at all. The front desk staff are really friendly and can communicate in English, and we were even able to check in a bit early. The only minor downside is that the room isn't huge, but for two people with not much luggage, it's perfectly fine. Recommended!"

Hotel near Dongdaemun Market,Seoul
Set in Seoul's Jung-gu, Sonoće Hostel Seoul Dongdaemun is positioned to meet the needs of those traveling for fun or business. This property also offers free luggage storage.

"This place exceeded my expectations! **Location:** It's located in Dongdaemun, so there are plenty of restaurants right outside, and public transport is super convenient. **Price:** It's amazing that 4 of us could stay here for this price. **Space:** The room we stayed in was a spacious quad room, which was really comfortable and nice. **Facilities:** Everything felt brand new and was perfect. The beds, furniture, bathroom, hairdryer, curling iron, and even the makeup mirror were all top-notch. **Amenities:** They provide complimentary bottled water, ramen, and coffee, which was great – we enjoyed some ramen after getting back to our room. There were also towels and toilet paper readily available in the common areas. **Lounge:** There's a lounge with a view of the outside where my friend and I could chat over a cup of coffee. During the day, the staff played quiet music while cleaning, which created a lovely atmosphere. And the air conditioning in the room was incredibly cool and comfortable. It was perfectly spacious for 3 or 4 people, and considering the price per person, it was extremely reasonable and excellent value. I would recommend this place to foreign friends and I'll definitely be back myself."

Our cozy, sun-drenched rooms are optimized for two travelers, each featuring large windows and a private en-suite bathroom for your ultimate comfort and privacy. "This was my first trip to Korea, and I arrived late at night. The immigration process took a while, and I was worried about missing my check-in time. However, the hotel responded immediately to my email, assuring me that 24-hour check-in was available, which was a huge relief. The location near the subway station is incredibly convenient, and the price is unbeatable. There's a 7-Eleven and other convenience stores nearby. Plus, there's a bakery (possibly a chain) that opens early in the morning, and their bread was delicious. Some reviews mentioned an odor, but I found that it wasn't an issue if I kept the shower room door closed. There was a thin pipe coming out of the shower room wall, and a small puddle of water would constantly form beneath it, but given the excellent value for money, I didn't mind. The room was small, but perfectly adequate for one person. For directions: Facing subway exit 6, walk past the 7-Eleven, then turn right at the corner coffee shop. Go about 10 meters, then turn right at the kink in the road (with a park on your left). You'll see the hotel almost immediately. If you're coming from Incheon Airport, take the limousine bus and get off at Baiton Hotel. Head left from there (I've included a picture looking at Baiton Hotel from around the coffee shop for reference). Disposable toothbrushes are provided. There's a charging cable by the bed, so you don't need to bring your own. There's also complimentary bottled water in the fridge. Fresh towels are available in the hallway. I'd love to make this my regular hotel, but I have one crucial request regarding safety. There's only one indoor staircase, and items were left on it, as well as a lot of trash waiting for collection outside (perhaps because it was a weekend and collection wasn't scheduled). This made me very concerned about safety. Please do not place anything on the staircase, as it's an evacuation route. While there were evacuation tools in the room, they wouldn't be usable in an emergency if the instructions weren't in Japanese. As for the trash outside, please move it to another location until collection, or at least put it in non-combustible containers. Everything else was perfect, but my profession makes me sensitive to safety, and the apparent lack of safety awareness was truly disappointing. I sincerely hope you will consider implementing solutions."

"If you are wondering where to stay for a trip to Seoul, I highly recommend this place. The location was great, making it convenient to get around Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, Euljiro, and Gwangjang Market. Above all, the atmosphere of the accommodation was wonderful. It didn't feel like a typical business hotel with just a bed; instead, it had the vibe of a cozy home or a pretty Airbnb, with a natural Korean aesthetic that made it lovely. The table was large, so it was really convenient to order delivery food. There was a washing machine, a large refrigerator, and a microwave, so it would have been convenient to stay longer, but I only booked for one night, which was a real shame. I had a great time chatting with my friend, and it remains a memorable experience. The room was spacious, and there was even a seating area to relax in. The photos turned out great, and the atmosphere in the common areas was so nice that it really boosted my satisfaction with the trip. It is a place I would love to stay at again the next time I visit Seoul."

"We made a last-minute family trip reservation without doing much research. The front desk is on the top floor (15th floor), and there was a staff member who spoke Japanese, so we had no problems with check-in or check-out. The room was new and very clean. It had a unique design with a bathroom in the living room ♨️ It took quite a while for the water to fill, but it was an surreal experience and we enjoyed it nonetheless. Our family of three stayed for two nights, and with two showers, two toilets, and three large beds, we had a comfortable stay. However, there was no safe in the room, so we had to keep our valuables with us at all times. The location was great, and it was very convenient for dining and shopping. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel."
