"A wonderful new hotel! The best we've stayed in in Japan so far. The rooms are clean, beautifully designed, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the room is spacious at 23 square meters. This wasn't easy to find within our budget. The receptionists are very nice and helpful. 👌 The room has a great hair dryer, perfect for styling. There's also a fully equipped kitchen and a great coffee machine. The train station is a 20-minute walk away, and the city center is a bus ride away. But the hotel is in a cozy, quiet residential area. The supermarket is a 7-minute walk away. We're very happy! 😊"

"The Gion branch is conveniently located near Hanamikoji and Yasaka Shrine, but it's a bit far from the subway station. If you have luggage, taking the bus to Chion-in is more convenient. On the first night, I couldn't figure out the motion sensor light settings, and customer service didn't respond, so the light stayed on all night and I didn't sleep well. Other than that, everything else was pretty good."

"I have to say, I really loved this hotel. It's so charming, and the private bathroom even had a Gucci bathtub – amazing! I could just soak in there forever. All the amenities were great, and they offer free luggage storage. We checked out, left our bags, went sightseeing, picked them up later, and headed back to Osaka in the evening. It was just perfect! The picture is the view from the window."

"Had a wonderful stay at this brand-new hotel! The location is excellent, right next to Nishiki Market, making it very convenient to explore Kyoto. The room was surprisingly spacious, It was also very comfortable, well equipped, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. "The hotel’s location is really strategic! Walking distance to Don Quijote, Family Mart, and bus stops (also to and from Kyoto Station if you’d like to add some KM to your Japan trip, around 15-20 mins by foot). Amenities are decent, although soundproofing is not the best (we could hear bit of noises and foot steps from next rooms) - after a long day of walking we’re too tired to bother and had a pretty good rest! Recommended if you’re looking for budget friendly option and strategic location."

"The room was great, very refined and clean. Japanese hotels are typically small, and it was perfectly adequate for one person. There was even a fridge, which was better than I expected. The shampoo and hand soap were excellent! The front desk staff were Chinese, so communication was clear. I barely saw anyone after checking in, which was great for an introvert like me. Check-out was self-service too, very comfortable overall. The only thing is the price was a bit high when I booked it, nearly 500 yuan a night, haha."

"This place seems to have opened in June 2026. It's a 15-minute walk to Kawaramachi, 10 minutes to the nearest subway station, and a 15-minute bus ride to Kyoto Station. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from a bus stop, and there's a Seven-Eleven nearby (3 minutes away). The location is convenient for getting anywhere, whether it's the airport or the city center. The only downside is that the buses to the city (Shijo, Gojo) often get stuck in traffic, so I ended up walking everywhere. Haha, sigh. (Though it's not the hotel's fault). Since it's new, the facilities are, of course, excellent. Most importantly, I loved not having to worry about bugs! The room size is typical for a Japanese hotel; it might be a bit tight for two people to open two 28-inch suitcases. Since I was alone, it was perfectly fine for me! It's about two blocks removed from the main downtown area, so it was incredibly quiet, except for one ambulance I heard passing by. Especially, there was no room noise. I have no idea who checked into the room next door; I didn't see any other guests during my entire trip (...). The room has pretty much everything you need. For a table, they said I could use the one in the hallway, so I brought it in, but it's a bit heavy. The chair was difficult to assemble, so make sure it's properly fixed before you sit on it. The amenities are truly amazing! They were the best I've ever used. The toothbrush and comb are fantastic; the toothbrush is so soft! Full cleaning is provided every other day (eco-cleaning). Since I was alone, I didn't find it inconvenient at all. Check-in is at 3 PM, but early check-in was possible if the room was ready. I was only planning to drop off my luggage, but they said the room was available at 12 PM, so I was pleasantly surprised and checked in. The front desk staff seemed to be better at English (but I'm not good at English, so I made requests in Japanese). The bakery near the hotel is delicious. They don't offer breakfast, but they provide cup noodles at night and some bread in the morning. However, I never tried the bread because I always went out for brunch in the morning. It would be great if they could fix the elevator always stopping at the lobby floor. It was awkward making eye contact with the reception staff every time."

"My wife and I stayed in Kyoto for one night. Since I finished work late on the 24th, we arrived at the hotel at night, but the self-check-in made it really convenient as we didn't have to worry about the time. It's truly a lifesaver when you arrive late. The room, opened in 2026, was new and featured a Japanese-modern interior with red walls and wooden furnishings. The twin beds were comfortably spaced, and soft light filtered through the shoji screens on the windows. With effective indirect lighting, the space felt calming, allowing us to relax immediately even after a late-night arrival. Above all, the location was superb. It's just a short walk to Sannenzaka and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The next morning, we headed to Kiyomizu-dera when it was less crowded, then explored the charming streets of Sannenzaka and Ninen-zaka before heading towards Gion. It was an unbeatable location for sightseeing. Even with a late arrival, we were able to start exploring Kyoto right away the next morning and really made the most of our trip. We'd definitely like to stay here again."
