"The hygiene was top-notch. The cups were sparkling clean with no water spots, and the toilet was gleaming white, making me feel completely at ease. The facilities were very convenient; the faucets were easy to turn and had strong water pressure, and the hairdryer was powerful enough. The environment was also great; the hallways weren't dark, so I felt safe walking, and the lobby was spacious and bright, which immediately lifted my spirits. The service was warm and friendly; everyone greeted me like an old friend and handled things efficiently, making me feel very welcome."

It also adjacent to the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center and Wanjiali Plaza, making it highly convenient for attending exhibitions, business trips, and leisure shopping. Whether for business travel, attending conferences and exhibitions, or leisure tourism it is an ideal choice for accommodation.

"This hotel is exactly like the pictures on trip.com and right next to the Changsha south railway station, ~2 min walk. The room was very clean and spacious and everyone from the reception to room attendants to restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though my mandarin is very basic and my husband speaks none, we used the translation app when needed. Special mention to Mr Zhang who checked us in and gave upgraded our room to a family room (that my son loved!); Ms Zhou who helped us book tickets to Orange Island (free but you have to book from WeChat, booking page is all in Chinese) and escorted us to the lift that took us straight to the station car park the day we left; and to Ms Liu who made my son’s day when she opened the play room and gave him lots of coins to play the claw machine. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re travelling by high speed train. The metro/subway is also at the same station making it very convenient to go into central and explore Changsha."

Beside Sujia Lane on Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, a small red-brick building lies hidden. Before it stands an ancient statue that has gazed for a thousand years; inside, the memories of the Grain Bureau have settled for over half a century. Today, this rare Soviet-style red-brick building in Changsha is writing a brand‑new story for “Atour S.” A Dwelling Where Eras Meet Atour S Hotel, Changsha IFS Guojin Center Wuyi Square, is located at No. 36 Sujia Lane in the Baiguoyuan Historical and Cultural Block. Its predecessor was the office building of the Hunan Provincial Grain Bureau, first built in the 1950s. This three‑story red‑brick structure is a typical and rare example of Soviet‑style architecture in Changsha. It was listed as a Municipal Cultural Heritage Site in 2014 and selected as a “20th‑Century Chinese Architectural Heritage Site” in 2023. Nearby historical relics, such as the former printing site of Xiangjiang Review, give the area a rich cultural atmosphere. The Atour Group defines itself as “creating a sanctuary for body and mind.” Atour S is an upgraded line of Atour hotels – the “S” stands for “Special,” focusing on business travelers who seek quality living and offering premium experiences. The hotel fully preserves the building’s historic character and courtyard layout. Complete Amenities for the Ideal Business Stay The hotel offers various room types and facilities including a buffet breakfast (Xiang Zhao), a self‑service laundry (Chu Chen), a gym (Han Chu), the Zhu Ju reading space, and a small meeting room. The Atour S brand emphasizes the coexistence of art and practicality: public areas exude an artistic flair, while room design balances comfort with function, creating a gallery‑like visual experience and warm, home‑like service. “Zhu Ju” features a “flowing library” concept, offering a curated selection of books for guests to enjoy free of charge. “Chu Chen” laundry provides convenient clothing care for business travelers, continuing the Atour brand philosophy of being “humane, warm, and interesting.” Prime Location for Effortless Travel Located in the core commercial area of Changsha, the hotel offers outstanding convenience: 3‑minute walk to Huangxing Square Metro Station (Line 1) 5‑minute walk to IFS Guojin Center 5‑minute walk to Wuyi Square, Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, and Pozijie Street Approx. 8‑minute drive to Orange Isle, Yuelu Mountain, and other Changsha landmarks Sujia Lane also preserves a statue of the great Song‑Dynasty writer Su Xun and the legend of “Laoquan Biejing” (a secluded path named after his literary name), creating a delightful contrast with the 1950s Soviet‑style red‑brick building. This quaint, tranquil yet downtown lane allows you to experience Changsha’s old‑city charm while plunging instantly into its modern bustle and convenience. Here, you will find the historical depth of a century‑old red‑brick building, the distinctive taste of Atour S, and the utmost central convenience of Changsha. Business travel and quality living – both are yours to enjoy.

"This hotel is great! I initially came out of curiosity to check out this hotel converted from a former grain bureau, but I was completely won over! Located in the city center, it's surprisingly quiet. Pushing open the heavy wrought-iron gate feels like entering another world. The receptionist, Xiao Qiao, was very welcoming and attentive. I booked an executive suite with a great view. The room facilities are very new, complete with a smart toilet and projector; you wouldn't guess it's a converted old building. What I liked most was the soundproofing; the silo-structured walls provide natural sound insulation, resulting in excellent sleep quality. The price is very reasonable for a boutique hotel in this category. It offers a unique industrial heritage experience with star-level service. I've already recommended it to several friends and will definitely stay here again next time!"

"As a business traveler who's constantly on the road, I was truly impressed with my stay this time. Everything from the ambiance and cleanliness to the service and facilities was impeccable. The location was also incredibly convenient. I genuinely recommend this hotel! Regarding the ambiance: It's elegant and quiet overall, making it very comfortable for business trips. The hotel even has its own exclusive tea room, perfect for meeting clients for tea and conversation, creating a great atmosphere. When arriving in an unfamiliar city, my biggest fear is not finding a suitable place, but this hotel addressed all my concerns – dining, business discussions, and tea breaks, all in one place. I'm very particular about cleanliness: Both the guest rooms and public areas were impeccably clean, with no overlooked details. The bedding was tidy and odor-free, which made my stay incredibly reassuring. The staff were professional and attentive. After I booked, they even proactively informed me about Changsha's weather and what clothes to pack. They recommended places to visit after work, and they had the air conditioning turned on before I arrived, so it was warm and cozy – so thoughtful! The dining arrangements were also very well organized, providing an excellent experience. The hotel's business facilities are exceptionally comprehensive. The meeting rooms are well-equipped, and the tea room and restaurant provide everything you need. You can handle daily work and business discussions without even leaving the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. It's less than 2 km from the high-speed rail station, making transfers for business trips super stress-free. There's no need to rush, and you can enjoy a leisurely lie-in – truly business-traveler friendly. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I'm here."

"Version 1 (Standard): My stay exceeded expectations. The front desk staff were efficient and incredibly welcoming during check-in. The room was spotless, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet at night. Hot water was quick to come on, and all amenities were complete. The location is excellent, making it easy to find food and get around. Great value for money – I'll definitely choose this hotel first for my next trip. Five stars! Version 2 (Short): The room was clean and tidy, service was attentive and thoughtful. The bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep, and getting around was convenient. Overall, a great stay, highly recommended, and I'll stay here again. "My stay at the Changsha Juzhou Nuoya Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Perched on the 38th to 50th floors, the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the striking giant 'orange tree' and the incredibly high ceilings. The fusion of Eastern aesthetics and modern luxury was absolutely exquisite. The most delightful surprise was undoubtedly the room's panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, which practically covered an entire wall. Opening them revealed a breathtaking vista of the Xiang River, Orange Isle, and the distant Yuelu Mountain, truly offering a 'mountains, water, island, city' visual feast all in one frame. Especially at night, gazing at the glittering cityscape and the shimmering river outside the window was incredibly relaxing. Every detail showcased thoughtful care. Not only did the room feature comfortable beds that could be combined and high-quality toiletries, but it also had a pleasant surprise: snacks from Cha Yan Yue Se, making you feel a strong sense of local culture and hospitality. The hotel is conveniently located right above Bisha Lake Subway Station, making it incredibly easy to get to Wuyi Square, Orange Isle, and other central commercial areas and attractions. Whether it was the resort-like high-altitude infinity pool or the authentic Hunan rice noodles at the all-day dining restaurant, everything added to the enjoyment of my trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changsha who is looking for a high-quality vacation experience. I will definitely be back!"

"We stayed here for two nights and were quite satisfied with everything. We had two double beds, and the child slept in one bed by himself. On the first morning, the child had several noticeable bumps on his body. At first, we thought it was mosquitoes, but by the second morning, it had gotten worse. One bump would appear every now and then, and by tonight, the child had at least 20 bumps all over his body. But it's definitely not mosquitoes; we don't know if it's flea bites or bed bugs."

"Pretty good! I originally wanted to take a bath 🛀, but my period came, so it was a waste. The bathtub is really big though. The decor has a more vintage style, which looks quite nice. Girls, if you wear a cheongsam there, you'll get some amazing photos! The location is excellent. Travel tip: walk + subway. Don't bother taking a taxi, it's not necessary. Everything is really close by."

"No exaggeration... this is the most hassle-free hotel near Changsha South Station! I picked this hotel randomly for a business trip to Changsha, and it turned out to be super convenient. ✅ It's very close to both the high-speed rail station and the subway station, just a few minutes' walk, which makes catching the train a breeze. ✅ The projector quality is crystal clear. My friend and I snuggled in bed watching dramas at night – it created such a great atmosphere, just like a private cinema. The whole room is smart-controlled; you can open/close curtains and adjust lighting all by voice. ✅ Full of thoughtful details – they even provided lingerie detergent and disposable face towels! The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. ✅ The lobby is a multi-functional space. You can have a light meal in the morning and enjoy a drink in the evening. The public areas have a strong artistic vibe, so if you don't feel like going out, you can take some great photos right in the hotel. ✅ The service is genuinely excellent. My clothes accidentally fell onto the balcony, and the front desk handled it incredibly promptly. They quietly retrieved them in the morning and left them at the front desk for us. 👍 Overall, it offers great value for money, with attentive yet non-intrusive service. It's suitable for both leisure and business travelers and definitely worth recommending."
