Grand House Shaoxing was an 4000 years old village which had an ancient history, villagers surname Si (姒）were Dayu‘s (大禹)tomb guards for thousands of years.
Now it is as a beautiful hotel with a lot of amenities ! Breakfast had many local specialties were very delicious ! It’s also had a big restaurant and wedding banquet hall ! Room is beautiful as in my photos.
Hotel located only 4 KM from city centre, as taxi only cost less A$7. We stayed 3 nights, enjoyed peaceful country life, also the very busy tourist spot !
I must mention all the stuff in the hotel are so helpful, specially the young man who greeted us on arrival in the rain at night, helping us changed room because I can’t get to upstairs loft !
I hope more tourists visit Shaoxing and stay in this hotel, because it is a totally different experience from big city like Shanghai or Beijing, and you will not regret it.

First of all, we drove all the way to Shaoxing. I like Shaoxing very much because I watched ”Winter Solstice” directed by Chen Daoming and Guan Hu since I was a child.

The little sister who picked me up was really beautiful, completely satisfying all my imaginations of Jiangnan girls. The little sister's service was very enthusiastic and very good! I just love it. It's a pity that I didn't know her name, which is a pity.
The location is very excellent, which is completely surrounded by the old city.
The environment, sanitary services and facilities of the hotel are very good. At least you can feel the profound culture of the city of Shaoxing. There is also a very cute kitten in the lobby. This is the fourth time for a family of three to visit Shaoxing. The hotel is easy to find. It has its own parking lot and there is no charge for entry and exit. The front desk staff are efficient and enthusiastic, the rooms are quite satisfactory, the facilities are well decorated and maintained, the breakfast environment is good, and the dishes are very good for this price range. By the way, the restaurant also provides free light meals in the evening. I stayed for four days and was too lazy to go out to eat because of heavy rain, so I had a free meal during the stay. 2. The hotel facilities and hardware are very good. I highly recommend the independent hotel. You can watch the sunrise in the room. It’s so worth it. The facilities are basically five-star standards, the floor heating is very strong, and there are many thoughtful equipment, such as disposable bathtub mats, disposable toilet seat mats, alcohol wipes, steam eye masks, foot buckets, Dyson hair dryers, etc. You can put them in your luggage next time The burden is reduced.
3. Food. The dinner was booked in advance. It was quite satisfactory and the plates were very large and sufficient. I recommend the small wontons for breakfast. They are delicious. There are wolfberries in the wonton soup, which is so healthy.
4. Gift items: Although the afternoon tea is only Chinese style, it is still delicious and beautiful; the travel photography is very good; the hot spring bathing was too cold, so I gave up decisively; I did not make an appointment in the entertainment room and did not experience it; I saw my companion before leaving. To be honest, the hotel is still very attentive in terms of guest care. For example, when eating in the restaurant in winter, the hotel will quietly add a heater next to it. For example, knowing that my family and I like incense, they will generously send us one; for example, before the guests check in, the housekeeper will ask the license plate number and the approximate arrival time in advance, so that the guests can go to the garage to pick up after they arrive. The hotel is clean and tidy, the service is thoughtful, warm and attentive, the food is large and tastes good, the waiter was very considerate to remind us that if there are fewer people, we can just order half a portion of food, and we were given champagne when we left the hotel, which was great.

TTravelBoy89This was one of the most comfortable stays I have had in a long time. The room was clean and was cleaned daily and everything put in place to ensure I was comfortable. The space was almost like I was at home. Management helped in every way possible with directions and suggestions and yes information on COVID testing to ensure that safety health measures are always adhere to. Thank you to Mr Wang and the team for an enjoyable stay and experience at Cypress Lane Hotel.

AAnonymous UserGood location, very close to the coffee museum and Yunjuan Yunshu. You can take a small car directly to the door of the hotel for free in the visitor center. Breakfast is not buffet style, it is a set meal, but there are many varieties, completely enough to eat. The door of the room is opened with a password, and it is more convenient without a card or key. The room has a projector that can be played with a mobile phone. This room is right next to the front desk, easy to get in and out, but there may be a little noisy.

The room is spacious and bright, the bed is soft, and the facilities in the room are all of high quality. Looking out from the window, you can also enjoy the beautiful city scenery of Zhuji.
The breakfast is rich and varied, and the restaurant environment is elegant.
The hotel's leisure facilities are also great, the gym is well equipped and the swimming pool is clear and clean.

GGuest UserThis is my first time staying in such a unique B&B. The environment is very beautiful. When we checked in, the enthusiasm of the girl at the front desk and the waiter made us feel at home while traveling. Since it was our first time traveling to Xinchang, the B&B management staff also helped us with detailed travel guides and took the trouble to reply. We had dinner at the B&B, and the waiter was very careful to help us introduce local and B&B specialties. Of course, after the meal, I felt that the food tasted pretty good and delicious. The night view of the B&B is also very beautiful (unfortunately, the weather is too cold now, it would be very pleasant to sit outside and have a cup of tea and chat in summer), but the bar has a fireside to make tea, and the atmosphere is super good. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich and varied. Overall, my husband and I are quite satisfied😁
