The rooms are quite spacious, and they even offer fruit porridge. Parking is super convenient with the hotel's exclusive parking lot, which is a huge plus for self-driving tourists – no need to stress about finding a spot, and it feels safe and secure. What really stands out is the service, from the warm and efficient check-in process where the front desk proactively helped us get our preferred room, to every staff member we encountered who greeted us with a smile. Any requests were handled incredibly quickly. The attention to detail truly shows how much care they put in, making us feel really welcome.

BenbenxionghuluThe room was spotless and the bedding was comfortable. I especially loved that the bath towels were individually packaged – a great touch! The service was just right, and it was so nice to enjoy a quiet bowl of congee late at night. Breakfast was well-balanced and tasty. The laundry room was also clean and well-organized.

The room was decent, but the biggest issue was the toilet giving off a bad smell. I didn't bother reporting it to the front desk for reasons I'll explain below. There were two washing machines and two dryers; however, the dryers were quite weak and slow. Breakfast was excellent, though, with dishes like hairtail, drunken crab claws, and shrimp tempura.
Now, for the downsides. The hotel shares its lobby with an esports hotel, which occupies the lower floors. The esports hotel's sign was even larger than the Mingting's, making me think I'd walked into the wrong place. The front desk attendant was wearing plain clothes, which confused me – is this even a legitimate hotel? I then realized the in-room phone was just for show; you had to call the front desk from an external line. That's why I didn't bother mentioning the toilet issue. It seems this hotel has a complete lack of management.
I booked this place to see the cherry blossoms at Guazhu Lake East Bank Park, only to find out it's actually closer to Guazhu Lake West Bank Park. It was over two kilometers to walk, and I ended up needing a taxi to get there and back, making the location pointless. I definitely booked the wrong hotel.

Facilities: This hotel is pretty much top-tier in Shaoxing. All things considered, it's only about 200 meters to Lu Xun's former residence, directly accessible via a back alley. It's also super convenient for visiting all the surrounding attractions like the residences of the Premier, Qiu Jin, and the Sage of Calligraphy. Guests get free parking, so you can just dump any souvenirs or Huangjiu (yellow wine) directly in your car. This alone outshines most other local hotels, not to mention its century-old brand, and their self-produced and sold Huangjiu, fava beans, and pastries. Plus, the new building at the front offers a great living experience; despite the hotel's age, the new building has a high-end, new-Chinese style, reminiscent of a five-star hotel.
Service: Incredibly thoughtful. Cici, as our butler, proactively added us on WeChat, and her service was impeccable throughout. You can just relax and enjoy your trip; any needs can be directly communicated to the butler. When cleaning the room, they even brought children's slippers and toothbrushes directly to us. Overall, it's especially suitable for children around ten years old coming for an 'educational trip.' After all, Baicaoyuan to Sanwei Study is something kids will learn about sooner or later, so staying at this hotel is perfect for reinforcing those memories.

Guest UserWe had a great stay at Wyndham Zhuji.
The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, and the view from our room was beautiful.
The breakfast had a lot of choices and everything was fresh. We also received a welcome fruit platter and 4 bowls of mango sago dessert, which was a very nice touch and tasted delicious.
What impressed us the most was the service. A special thank you to Chundi at the front desk. She was so friendly, patient, and helpful throughout our stay. She assisted us whenever we needed help and made us feel very welcome.
Housekeeping did an excellent job as well. The room was cleaned properly every day, and the bed linens were changed regularly, which made our stay very comfortable.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again when visiting Zhuji. Thank you to the entire team, especially Chundi, for making our trip so enjoyable!

Guest UserI stayed for two days. The hotel facilities were good and quite new. However, the food delivery robot was broken and never delivered. I complained many times, but the hotel staff did nothing; I always had to go downstairs to pick it up myself. I specifically asked them to let me know when the food arrived or to bring it up, but there was absolutely no service. When I questioned them, they just apologized and said they tried their best. They didn't clean the room, didn't take out the trash, and didn't replace the bath towels or hand towels.
I had a great time in Shangyu, but the hotel service was the only downside.

Anonymous UserVery satisfied with this hotel! The facilities are excellent, with a fantastic gym and swimming pool. Breakfast was also great, offering a delicious and plentiful spread including omelets. I regret not taking photos! The room was spacious and very comfortable; I didn't want to check out. It was a wonderful stay, and I'll definitely choose this Novotel again next time I'm in Shaoxing for business. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Gabor87The hotel staff didn't speak any English at all, but they were quite helpful. The room itself wasn't cleaned and there was clearly visible dirt on the carpet, we also got used, dirty and smelly hotel slippers - I asked the staff by using translator to replace it and clean our room because it wasn't cleaned, the promised to do this. They changed our slippers to new ones but the carpet wasn't vacuumed properly again. Apart from that it was fine. Breakfast was nice, rooms are spacious. The check-in and check-out procedure is time consuming because the staff doesn't know English and their procedures are aged - they copied my whole passport with all the previous trips to China and produced a lot of paper in the process for no reason. The check-out was done and we were asked to wait (to check if we used mini bar or something), but no one told us afterwards we can go so we waited for 5 minutes for no reason, I finally asked if we can go and only then the receptionist said yes xD

Cherry WeddelI thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the hotel's family room. The spaciousness of the room provided ample space for my family and me to relax comfortably. The firsthand experience was truly delightful, allowing us to create memorable moments together.
While the room boasted a pleasing view, it's worth noting that the positioning of the two beds felt a bit distant, which could be improved for a more cohesive family experience. The sliding bathroom door posed a minor inconvenience as it wasn't the easiest to navigate, and I found myself struggling with it at times. Another minor drawback was the absence of shelves or storage options within the shower area, making it a bit challenging to keep our toiletries organized.
Despite these minor shortcomings, our overall experience in the family room was positive. The spaciousness and engaging atmosphere certainly outweighed the small inconveniences we encountered. We left with fond memories of our time there and would consider returning in the future.
