"The service was great, very warm and welcoming. They even gave me a bottle of water when I checked out. Since I arrived quite late, they made sure to remind me about the supper service times. The location is also excellent, right in the Xixiaolu Historic District and very close to Yangming's Former Residence."

"I loved the ambiance of the hotel lobby. The room was spacious and incredibly clean, and they provided Jo Malone toiletries, including a great little bar of soap! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Honestly, it was a much better experience than the Hilton I stayed at in Hangzhou. The shuttle, which I believe was a Toyota Alphard, needed to be booked in advance, but the front desk was happy to adjust the timing for me when I wanted to visit a different attraction later in the day. Very impressive service!"

GGuest UserNestled deep within the lush, emerald embrace of the Zhuji Mountains, my recent stay at this charming, honesty-style resort was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by whispering bamboo groves and crisp mountain air, the resort seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comfort, offering a tranquil retreat from the bustle of everyday life. The resort’s cozy yet elegantly designed rooms [Tree top rooms and RVs] provided a haven of relaxation, with large windows framing the serene bamboo forest. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the exceptional care from the housekeeping team. A special shoutout to Xiao Luo, whose attentiveness and warm demeanor made us feel genuinely pampered. From thoughtfully sharing local tips, her dedication embodied the resort’s commitment to hospitality. As a pet owner, I was thrilled by the resort’s pet-friendly ethos. Our furry companion was welcomed with treats, a comfy bed, and even a playful toy! Beyond that, the resort curated delightful activities: guided hikes through misty trails, flower-picking in sun-dappled meadows, and complimentary photo shoots at scenic hilltop vistas. The photographers expertly captured the beauty of the landscape, leaving us with timeless memories. This resort is a gem for those seeking solace in nature without sacrificing comfort. Whether you’re hiking through bamboo forests, bonding over a sunset barbecue, or simply unwinding to the symphony of rustling leaves, every moment feels thoughtfully crafted. Combined with the warmth of staff like Xiao Luo and their genuine care for guests (and pets!), this stay was unforgettable. Highly recommended for nature enthusiasts, pet owners, and anyone craving a rejuvenating escape with a touch of magic.

GGuest UserVery satisfied with my stay here, right inside Luzhen. You step out to quaint bridges and flowing water, and it's so peaceful to walk around early in the morning. The room was exquisite, and the butler was very responsive to any issues. The room smelled lovely, and the bathroom was spotless, even with a diffuser. Most importantly, the bar area allowed for brewing tea, and they provided disposable liners for the kettle, which felt very modern and hygienic. My only minor suggestion would be to add a handle to the bathtub for safety.

MM294207****Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped and relatively new. My room didn't have a fridge. A plus is that you can log in directly to watch anything on the TV box, and the internet speed is good. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean; even the corners were taken care of. Environment: The location is decent. It's near Cangqiao Old Street, close to Lu Xun's former residence and next to Xu Wei's former residence. It feels like it's in the middle of all the popular attractions. The distance is probably between 1-3 kilometers. If the weather were cooler, you could easily walk, but it's been too hot during my stay, except for Cangqiao Old Street which is very close. I really love the room; it seems like an old house? It's a Chinese-style room with exposed beams and pillars. Lying in bed looking at the high beams, I think it's beautiful and doesn't feel oppressive. Service: Pretty good; quick responses on WeChat. Shaoxing snacks: They even gave me a coupon for stinky tofu from a shop at Lu Xun's former residence, which was authentic. When I went, the sister there also gave me fennel beans.

GGuest UserSkipped the Chinese New Year crowds and checked in on Lantern Festival, so it was wonderfully quiet and uncrowded. Even though it's in the city center, it doesn't feel old, cramped, or damp at all. From the exterior to the rooms, every detail is excellent. The biggest surprise was how comfortable the bedding was; it was clean, soft, and I had a great night's sleep. Woke up feeling great in my back, waist, and neck – I'm seriously considering getting one of those pillows! As I was leaving, I checked the bed for anything I might have forgotten and found the duvet was still warm. It's also incredibly lightweight yet super insulating. The owner really put thought into their product selection. Even on a gloomy morning, I saw the cleaning staff meticulously tidying up the rooms, working up a sweat. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and would happily stay here again if I get the chance. It's also super convenient for walking or cycling to nearby attractions, and there's a bakery and a popular cafe right outside the door, so you can easily enjoy them.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a great location and a pleasant environment, making it easy to access attractions. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, with complete amenities, a complimentary minibar, and afternoon tea. The butler service was warm and attentive, and breakfast was simple.

BBeiwolideyangguangweiOn the first day, after checking in, we left our luggage at the lobby and went for lunch. We only got our room number after lunch… Our group waited patiently outside, getting bitten by mosquitoes… Little did we know, the cleaning lady was sitting by the road scrolling on her phone, instead of diligently cleaning the rooms as the front desk claimed? When we went to ask when our room would be ready, the cleaning lady repeatedly asked, “Who told you to ask? Was it the front desk?” Finally, she just said, “Fine, I’ll clean yours first…” ??? The overall hotel environment is nice, and the room didn't smell musty, but the details… for example, the decorative paintings and the vanity light were really dusty. During our 4-day stay, let's not even talk about whether the breakfast was good or not (it was on par with a budget hotel)… but it was the first time I've encountered it being exactly the same every single day?! The front desk staff's service was surprisingly bad too… When we politely asked if there was a local market nearby where we could buy some souvenirs, the front desk just glanced at us and dismissed us with, “They're not locals, they wouldn't know!” This level of service was really baffling. Finally, I still want to thank the electric cart team for their shuttle service. Although their response time was quite long a few times, their attitude was great, and they always greeted us with a smile!

LLanyouyouyoyoThe most successful off-peak May Day travel, it is quiet, peaceful and comfortable here, very suitable for slow life Retro Italian castle style, children like it very much, the room is also equipped with a Philips coffee machine, welcome fruit, the reception center to the room has a sightseeing bus that can be picked up at any time, there is a large lawn, very suitable for team building activities The restaurant ordered 5 dishes for dinner, which were exquisitely made and tasted very good. The chef was attentive Activities: You can barbecue, horseback riding, archery, and the children's playground is on the third floor of the reception room Surroundings: We drove to Shangwang Village, where there is a good restaurant in the past, and the attractions in Shangwang Village are still under development and construction. We drove to Dongxi Village to play in the water and pick wild raspberries. There are also seasonal fruit picking nearby

MM478726****I was really satisfied with the room; it offered great value for money. This guesthouse is quite unique, located within an ancient building. Best of all, there was no formaldehyde smell from renovations, which I'm very sensitive to. While it might be a bit old and small, the overall experience was excellent. They even have their own restaurant, which hosts events every night at 9 PM, like movie screenings, dancing, and releasing river lanterns. The value here is truly unbeatable. Plus, the location is superb – just a 3-minute walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence, right within the scenic area. Highly recommend it, it's really good!
