GGuest UserIt's really a good deal to stay in this hotel during the off-season! My kids came from Shanghai after school on Friday, and we saw the most beautiful sunset in Nayuan. When you open the window in the room, you can see the super healing mountain view, which is very comfortable to look at with green all over. The room is very clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and there is nothing wrong with the details.
The bathtub is by the window, and it's super comfortable to take a bath and look at the mountain view! There are also a lot of things to do in the hotel, such as the infinity pool and the indoor constant temperature pool, and the children have a lot of fun. There is also a bamboo bonfire in the evening, and it's very atmospheric to sit around and chat, and sing karaoke to your heart's content. The hotel also has many activities arranged, so you won't feel bored even if you don't go hiking. There are also some animal friends, which the two kids like very much.
I had six meals in the Nayuan restaurant, and every dish was delicious. The meals are all self-produced fresh ingredients. I thought this configuration would be very expensive, but it turned out to be very cost-effective! This off-peak travel experience is great, there are few people and it's quiet, and I had a lot of fun. It's definitely worth coming again!

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at this hotel, and I had a very good experience. The lobby design was excellent, the hotel facilities and equipment were new, the room was clean and tidy, the mattress was comfortable and soft, there was a bar on the first floor with a great atmosphere in the evening, and a laundry room on the 11th floor, which was very convenient. I extended my stay for another night and was very satisfied.
The attention to detail was excellent. The breakfast had a wide variety of flavors and options; it was the first time I'd ever seen a hotel breakfast that included lotus root starch. The hotel staff were very polite, and the decor was thoughtfully designed. It offers much better value for money than nearby Sheratons or Marriotts, and the service and facilities are even better.

TTannysongWe arrived around 8pm. The beautiful lady and handsome man of the B&B drove a battery car to the parking lot to pick us up and helped deliver the luggage to the room.
The room we booked came with a double ticket to the scenic area and a boat ticket. The B&B is located at Jiudao Wharf. We took a boat from the B&B to the Luzhen Grand Theater Wharf, visited Luzhen, and then entered the Keyan Scenic Area, then the Jianhu Scenic Area, and walked back to the B&B along the ancient towpath. This tour route is great.
When checking out, the little brother gave me a jar of rice wine, which my husband made and sealed himself. Let's drink it after a few years at home.

XXiangyaoxingfudeniuWe chose Shaoxing for our third National Day stop. My dad had been asking for rice wine for two years, and we finally made it. Among the many hotels, we chose the popular Donghu Hotel. So, what was it like? Let me tell you.
The garden itself doesn't look like a real garden; they've chosen this particular plot of land to create a hotel that resembles a garden. I think it's pretty average, nothing spectacular. Plus, they're on energy-saving mode, so the lobby and hallways are incredibly hot.
The hotel will communicate with you in advance. I booked a duplex suite, but I don't think the layout matches the photos. The view is also average, with visible electricity lines and trees obscuring the view. Luckily, we'd asked in advance and used mosquito spray (we got bitten several times, and we couldn't get rid of them). The room was already open, but the decor was quite smelly.
Service: Communication with the front desk and housekeeping was seamless. Any issues were handled.
Cleanliness: Dust filled the corners of the room. Opening the curtains would cause a cloud of dust to form on the floor. Flies and insects were everywhere in the living room downstairs, and we didn't open the door. I think the duplex suite was the best place to start with the mosquito problem. The room door should have been filled with mosquito repellent. The carpet still looked a bit dirty, with tiny hairs on it.
Breakfast: A complete mess. The larger the number of people, the worse it was. The food wasn't replenished promptly, and I had no idea what they were doing. Luckily, I was leaving. I have a feeling the National Day holiday will be even worse. The food wasn't good either.
Restaurant: The Chinese restaurant was fully booked (by time slot). The only food options in the entire hotel are the Chinese restaurant and the buffet. It might be nice for a one-night stay, but staying longer isn't necessary. The food options are limited, and the buffet was average. The Chinese food was okay, though. We ended up eating in our room.
Bed: Too soft, not for my taste. The National Day activities are pictured. We made cookies, fed the fish, and watched the fireworks (which only lasted three minutes). They have a mahjong room, suitable for seniors, but it's extra charge and probably outsourced. There's also a children's playground, so we had some fun.
Summary: Not as good as I expected. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again in Shaoxing. It doesn't feel particularly mountainous, not very natural. The view from the room was just average. I think some apps over-embellish the view.

This is what 'a home away from home' truly means, and I highly recommend it to business travelers who seek quality.

GGuest UserBring your baby to Shaoxing, the hotel upgraded our room for one day for free. Welcome fruit, dessert every day, butler service is very timely. Especially this housekeeper Xiao Ni. The hotel's Chinese restaurant for dinner is not expensive, there is a small zoo and horse riding 😀. The lawn is very large and suitable for outdoor. The hotel is very large, and there are many places such as the wine cellar that I don't have time to visit because I have a baby. I will come again next time.

GGuest UserWe brought our family here for Chinese New Year. The kids love fishing, so we specifically chose the fishing hut room; we had to bring a long enough rod. The hotel has a wide variety of room types, the breakfast is plentiful, the scenery is beautiful, and the customer service representative, YaYa, was very attentive and provided excellent service. They even gave us a free late check-out until 2 AM. The festive atmosphere in the evening was wonderful. We'll definitely come again! 😊

WWangyushenhaihuaxishiI stayed a few times and the facilities in the room are very complete. The room is very clean and tidy when I look inside. The front desk staff are also very good. If you need anything, they can help and reply in time. Overall, I feel good. The location belongs to the city center. It is very close to the Passenger Transport Center, Grand Theater and Science and Technology Museum. It is a 5-minute walk. It is great. Wanfeng is also there for eating, playing and shopping. It is super convenient.
