"Lovely hotel right next to the Muya temple, which was the main reason we came to Tagong. The room is comfortable and cozy, the staff super helpful even despite the language barrier - if you are planning to continue to Chengdu, they will help you organise a car to Kangding. The only suggestion to the hotel - at breakfast, there could be a proper coffee served. Overall, can highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Tagong!"

"Parking is not convenient in Kangding. There is a parking lot in front of this B&B. It is very convenient to choose this place if you drive by yourself. Going up is National Highway 318. The proprietress is very nice, and her dog is super cute. We went with our pets, and her dog took the initiative to invite us to play and welcome us. It is a very loving family. The room is very warm, but the hygiene needs to be improved. The other breakfasts are prepared very carefully. I am very happy to meet such a B&B in Kangding!"

"A brand new guesthouse located by the national highway. Cleanliness: The rooms and reception area were very clean and tidy. The entire hotel is very new, and being on the first floor, there's no need to carry luggage up and down stairs. Room size: The room is about the same size as a business double room in a chain hotel, more than enough. Parking: Parking is very convenient; there are ample parking spaces in the external parking lot, and the hotel also has its own parking lot."

"I usually don't write reviews, but this time I definitely have to give a five-star rating, 100 points, haha! And I'm not a shill! We arrived in Kangding yesterday with no traffic. I booked this place online. When we got to the hotel, a staff member showed me where to park. The interior environment is really nice. They said it just opened in June. The check-in environment is great, clean, and very cozy. When we left, I forgot my tablet and had to go back for it. The front desk had kept it safe and sound for me – very responsible! The front desk lady was also very polite and very cute. All in all, a great review. If I have the chance to come back here, I'll definitely choose your place again!"

"The most upscale hotel in Xinduqiao, with only 19 rooms. I booked a loft room, and it presented a clear mix of pros and cons. Here's a brief rundown of my experience: **Pros:** 1. Both the exterior and interior boast an impressive design. Situated by a stream, it offers unparalleled, highly photogenic views, which is arguably its main selling point. 2. Located at an altitude of over 3500 meters, the hotel provides diffused oxygen systems in its rooms to help alleviate altitude sickness. 3. The concierge service was warm and attentive; someone proactively greeted us and helped with luggage upon our arrival. 4. The restaurant offers creative dishes at reasonable prices, and the breakfast spread is plentiful. **Cons:** 1. No bathrobes were provided in the room (which is typically a standard amenity for hotels of this caliber). 2. Restaurant service was a bit inconsistent. Despite being a 'no-smoking' establishment, it wasn't enforced, and there were no designated smoking/non-smoking areas. At breakfast, we even noticed cigarette butts and empty packs from the previous day still scattered on the floor. 3. Trash outside the windows wasn't cleared promptly. I truly hope the hotel continues to enhance both its facilities and services."

"Facilities: Fully equipped, the best I've stayed at on my trip to western Sichuan, even comes with a Bluetooth speaker. Food: I have to give a special shout-out to the restaurant; it was unexpectedly good! The portions were huge for everything, and the yak meat was especially tender."
Kangding Gaqu Hot Spring Homestay
"We stopped in Kangding for a rest after returning from Xinduqiao. Driving was quite convenient; the navigation was accurate, and parking was available a little outside Kangding New City. Overall, it was a good experience and very cost-effective. Facilities: The room had a private hot spring pool, which was very comfortable. Various disposable amenities were provided, and the tissues were of the Jie Rou brand – a huge plus! One minor drawback that could be improved was that the underfloor heating switch in the room seemed broken and couldn't be turned off. The room was a bit too warm and stuffy; even with all the windows open, it was still quite hot. Also, the neighboring building was playing a radio, which was very noisy. Opening the windows made it noisy, and closing them made it too hot. Hopefully, this can be improved. Environment: There is a public hot spring pool, and overall it's quite nice. Service: Very good. Even though we arrived late, the front desk staff were very welcoming and waited for us. Cleanliness: Acceptable. We didn't find anything unclean."

Was a set meal due to low number of travellers staying. Laundry room was available. However, dryer’s timing is super off. Waited the entire night for my clothes to dry."

The room is large, the scenery outside the window is beautiful, the yard is large and convenient for parking, and there are charging stations. If you are traveling by car, it is more convenient to eat nearby, right in Xinduqiao Town. Of course, the National Day house prices are also very touching. The only thing is that the breakfast is too simple and does not match the room price at all. There is nothing I can do about it, it’s a big mistake to travel on National Day. I like that the B&B has an oxygen concentrator that can be rented, and the price is much more beautiful than Mount Siguniang. It completely saved me and my trip from high fever."

"Choosing this guesthouse for our Xinduqiao trip was incredibly lucky! The owner was exceptionally warm and welcoming. As soon as we arrived, they helped us with our luggage and proactively gave us tips on local attractions and the best viewpoints. Any requests we had were met immediately, which made us feel really cared for while away from home. The room was spotlessly clean, with simple yet elegant decor. The vintage pottery and dry branch arrangements created a wonderful ambiance, making our stay very comfortable. The guesthouse faces the Western Sichuan grasslands and mountains directly; outside the window, rolling green hills are covered in lush grass, and wild flowers bloom freely in the yard – every view is simply therapeutic. Strolling through the front yard, you're surrounded by fresh greenery, making it the perfect place to unwind and escape the city's hustle and bustle. The location is superb; step outside and you're met with the breathtaking scenery of Xinduqiao. The value for money is outstanding, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Western Sichuan!"

"The receptionists were all very nice. The pet-friendly nature of the B&B is a big plus! We came from Chengdu to escape the summer heat, but we didn't expect Kangding to still be a bit hot at night, so it was a bit stuffy at night. If you can't stand the heat, just ask the owner for a fan. For the rest, there's a douche bag. They also offer fruit, ice jelly, and small cakes. If you're bringing your pet, this place is a great choice. 👍 It's within walking distance of downtown Kangding!"
