"The holiday rental was very clean, and I found the toiletries to be spotless. All the facilities were great too. I've stayed in some cabins before where the water supply wasn't very convenient, but at this place, every room has a private bathroom and the hot water was readily available, which was fantastic! 👍 The owner was also very kind. We wanted to cook our own meals, and she lent us chairs. My charger broke in the middle of the night, and even though it was raining, they brought a new one over to me. Absolutely wonderful! 👍"

"The owner's service was exceptional. On our first day, I suffered from altitude sickness, and the owner kindly helped us with our luggage. "This is a long overdue positive review! Last week, I traveled to Western Sichuan, and on the second night, I stayed at this hotel. Due to altitude sickness, I had an unbearable headache in the early hours of the morning. I asked the owner if there was a hospital nearby, and without a second thought, he drove me to the Xinduqiao Health Center. After my treatment, he came back to pick me up. It was already past 1 AM, and it was hailing outside. I wanted to offer him a token of appreciation, but he refused. The next day, when I saw him at the restaurant, he even asked how I was recovering. I was incredibly touched. I promised the owner a good review at the time, but since my friend made the booking, it's taken until now for me to get a chance to review it on my phone. My sincerest apologies for the delay. I wish the owner a prosperous business and Tashi Delek! 🌹 P.S.: The hotel has oxygen equipment, the bedding is very clean, and the breakfast is a unique nine-grid style. The corn and soft-boiled eggs were delicious."

"If you're looking for a hotel room with a view of Mount Gongga, I highly recommend this one. It's not right on the main road; you'll have to walk a short distance on a dirt path. It seems to have been built on the site of an old ******* home. The designer put a lot of thought into it – every room offers a view of Mount Gongga, though of course, it depends on the weather. The lobby retains the original old building, dating back to 1923. The rooms have elevators and 1.5-meter twin beds. The views are excellent, and there isn't much unnecessary decorative furniture in the room, making it feel very spacious. The toilet and shower are separate, and the vanity area is outside the toilet. To my surprise, they even use Penhaligon's toiletries; clearly, the owner appreciates the finer things in life. The staff were all wonderful and proactively offered all kinds of help. Even with an elderly person in a wheelchair, there were no issues at all. There are many apple trees, reportedly preserved from the original site. The room curtains are controlled by XiaoDu smart devices, but unfortunately, one room's was broken. Breakfast felt very homelike, with a nine-compartment platter and excellent nutritional balance. The weather wasn't great that day, so I didn't get to see the 'golden mountain in the sunrise,' but I'll definitely go back next time."

"The most satisfactory hotel on this trip to western Sichuan, with great value for money. I found it on XHS. The location is easy to find and very close to Xinduqiao. It is very good as a transfer station for high-reflection adaption! There are many places to eat around, and there is its own parking lot next to National Highway 248, which is convenient. The boss's service was excellent, and his teammate had a slight high fever, so he provided an oxygen concentrator. Breakfast is the standard Chinese breakfast in Western Sichuan, with simple American coffee. The room looks out to the green mountains. It is very comfortable to watch the floating clouds in the morning and the sunset in the evening!"

Our trip to Tagong, Western Sichuan, found its warmest surprise in the Kangding Tagong Pokhara Smart Manor. Located in Tagong Town, the manor perfectly blends the relaxed, rustic charm of the ******* plateau with a tastefully tidy courtyard and rooms. Our deluxe sunroom was exceptionally bright, offering breathtaking views of the clear highland sky and distant mountains right from the window. Our three-day stay was incredibly comfortable and soothing, completely melting away the fatigue of our long road trip. What truly touched us was the genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner and front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, making us feel right at home. Every evening, they thoughtfully delivered warm milk, chasing away the chill of the highland nights. On one occasion, returning to the manor after being caught in the rain, the owner immediately brought us freshly brewed ginger tea, its warmth spreading from our tongues throughout our bodies. These thoughtful details, more than any luxurious amenities, truly resonated with us. This is far more than just a place to stay; it's a welcoming haven on our Western Sichuan journey. Should I ever return to Tagong, I will undoubtedly stay here again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to every traveler venturing into this beautiful wilderness.

The girls who greeted us were really nice and responsible. However, the room facilities were just so-so. At 2k a night, considering the view and amenities, the value for money was very low. The courtyard wasn't very private, and the toiletries were poorly provided. They provided two small conditioners but no body lotion, and it was placed near the sink. For four people (two adults and two children), there were only two mouthwash cups – clearly, you can't judge a book by its cover. Also, I suggest the owner not be so mercenary. Making money and it being peak season are understandable. Breakfast was just a bowl of rice noodles, which was already quite perfunctory. Asking for coffee was met with an extra charge, although the girls later provided it, the experience was still terrible. How much does a cup of coffee cost? Not to mention, I spent over 600 yuan on a bland hot pot dinner at their restaurant that evening. There were barely any chicken pieces, yet the whole pot cost 388 yuan. The next day, I went to Kangding city and had a yak hot pot that my family of four ate until we were stuffed, and it only cost 200 yuan. There were many other small details, but I won't go into them. I hope the owner can maintain good quality and value for money while making money. Don't try to make a quick buck. Thanks again to the girls for their service.

The scenery is decent, but the poor hardware maintenance and inadequate services severely detract from the experience, making it poor value for money. First, the pros: The location is very close to Tagong Grassland, with open surroundings, and some rooms offer direct views of the snow-capped mountains. The scenery is indeed beautiful. However, the drawbacks are fatal: 1. **Room View is a ”Blind Box”**: Not all rooms have a snow mountain view; some room types have obstructed views, only seeing the grassland. 2. **Disgusting Equipment Maintenance**: The room comes with a humidifier and an oxygen concentrator, which are thoughtful amenities for high-altitude areas. However, when I turned on the humidifier, I found its interior to be very dirty, clearly not cleaned for a long time. The oxygen concentrator was even worse; when I used it, water actually sprayed into my nose. Upon inquiry, I learned that a previous guest had refilled it themselves and the staff hadn't checked or cleaned it. Such a basic lack of maintenance is completely inconsistent with the room price. 3. **Oxygenation Effect is Useless**: The oxygen concentrator has a time limit for use, after which you have to pay extra to rent it. Moreover, the dispersed oxygen supply is not very effective, and I didn't feel much improvement when experiencing altitude sickness. 4. **Poor Value for Money in Dining**: The on-site restaurant is overpriced, and the taste and portion sizes are nothing special. In summary: If you're only looking for scenery, there are more options around. If you choose this place, be prepared for the possibility of ”winning the lottery” with the equipment.

The hotel's decor is very ******* style, exquisite and beautiful. The room even has Rhodiola rosea tea that you can brew, and there's a diffused oxygen concentrator. The breakfast selection is also very generous. Furthermore, our butler, Ms. Si Qu, was very attentive and welcoming, proactively helping us with our luggage and providing all the necessary information. She's also very pretty. The other hotel staff greeted us warmly every morning. Highly recommended!

The hotel has its own parking lot behind the building, with space for over twenty cars. You pay for parking upfront, and then get reimbursed via WeChat. The owner is very trustworthy, and the service is top-notch. Kangding city can be quite congested, but this hotel is located just outside the city, and it's not far to get into the center. There was plenty of water available. The bedding was spotless, which put my mind at ease.

”It was a really pleasant experience to stay in this hotel! There are many kinds of breakfast, from nutritious Western breakfast to authentic local food. The hotel is located right next to National Highway 318, with extremely convenient transportation and a large parking lot, making it very convenient to drive to surrounding attractions. The surrounding scenery is picturesque and the facilities are complete. It is a good choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. The rooms are clean and comfortable. What's more worth mentioning is that there are many delicious foods around, so people can enjoy their stay while also feasting their mouths. Absolutely fantastic! We arrived very late on our first day, and they not only helped us with our luggage but also turned on the heating for us in advance. The service was exceptional! Plus, the hotel is really photogenic, the environment is lovely, and it's pet-friendly, which is just wonderful! We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

First of all, I read reviews before booking that their home is on a slope... I found out after I went there... that slope is really steep, and it is two consecutive slopes. Cars with low displacement and manual transmission are really discouraged from leaving. However, this hotel has an independent parking lot, which is rare in Kangding, and the rooms are large. The two 1.35M beds are enough to sleep two adults. The service is also great, but in Xincheng, you have to walk 2 kilometers to the square.
