Romantic Hotels in Hong Kong

Hotel checkin is absolutely pathetic. Room was also pretty average with a Harbour view in the East wing looking further out to the East of the Harbour with obscured views due to the adjacent rooms . Not a very well designed building. When lazing on the couch by the window you a glaring directly into the adjacent room and the windows are not sufficiently glazed for privacy. Rooftop pool is excellent however it opens between 7am and 8pm so you cant really enjoy the view while swimming at night. This is Hyatts version of the mondrian but it feels very cramped and the hotel is morphed into an existing building by way of major refurbishment. Didnt really like the staff attitide either and I got the impression most of them were inexperienced

Details say can use the laundry’s but end up day only long term tenants can use. The counter girl attitude not good, guy attitude ok, not really recommend🤦♀️

A True Gem in Hong Kong – Exceptional Stay at Hotel ICON I recently stayed at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. The breakfast buffet at The Market offered an incredible variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes. I also enjoyed the innovative and fresh dishes at Above & Beyond, which paired beautifully with the stunning view. The location was perfect – conveniently close to public transport, shopping, and attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Hotel ICON truly exceeded my expectations in every way. Their commitment to sustainability, personalized service, and luxurious comfort make this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting Hong Kong. I can’t wait to return!

Highly recommended for families. This is its own little town with supermarket, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and pharmacy. We took the free morning shuttle to Disney and had a wonderful time. Very convenient and cost effective. The breakfast buffet is nice and the Christmas decor was superb. We will definitely be staying again. Just wish the hotel had an ATM machine

Our hotel stay at the Arca was quite satisfactory. The room was quite big and there were three comfortable beds. The toilet is also very spacious and large, and allows for two shower rooms inside. The design of the room was quite smart, all in all. The location was okay, easily visible from the nearest station. The service was also very good, they even offered us a complimentary cake for my wife’s birthday as well as three complimentary drinks as an apology for the slightly delayed check-in. All in all, great hotel!

located right at the end of Knutsford Terrece, easily access through Mira Mall. room is spacious enough to open two luggages. nice hot shower and comfy bed good value for short stay!

Stayed on 18/f with partial harbour view. View’s nice but could hear cars passing by. Am light sleeper so requested upper floors but between 18-36 they gave me 18/f. The room stinks a little like carpet being wet or someone pooped inside or sth, lasted whole stay. The sealant of the shower cubicle clearly was off so when we showered water leaked to vanity area and also leaked to toilet side… not a cheap hotel but the quality of the bedroom is really not up to par. Bed’s comfy though but pillows not. Shower and toilet share one door so when I showered while my partner was doing his business in the toilet he had no door to close~~ interesting design. Front desk is helpful.

Really good, near Nathan road and easy to get around. Lots of food downstairs, places to eat and eye candy every where. Watched HBO movies at night, Mad Mad fury road 👌

This is our fourth or fifth time staying at WM. We’ve always loved the location, service, and the environment here. The restaurants are great too. This time we stayed at the 2/F with no balcony but still got a big bathtub. - there’s a noise problem, very serious noise problem. There was a group of people, I believe who stayed right below us - have been chatting very loudly on their balcony even after midnight. I called the front desk to talk about this but it still took quite a while to get them quiet. Didn’t really get a good sleep. But other things are great.

Chose this boutique hotel for the first time based on its positive online reviews. I was here for 4 nights in mid January before the ***** New Year. Excellent location & accessibility. Food outlets & supermarkets everywhere! - From Airport: Airport bus A21 stops near the street to Hotel Madera. Alight at the Nathan Hotel stop, walk forward two streets and when you see a pharmacy, look left and you will see Hotel Madera. - To Airport: Take the same A21 bus at the opposite side of the Nathan Hotel. Cross at the nearest pedestrian walkway and the bus stop is in front of Dah Sing Bank. - MTR Jordan station B2 exit is two streets away from Hotel Madera. Takes about 3 minutes if you walk fast (for Singaporeans' reference: Century Square mall to Tampines MRT) - Hotel lobby is ground level and access to room is via key card. Building is not wide so only four rooms on my floor with two very efficient lifts. Never a long wait! - Room is big and fits 2 people comfortably. Regular shaped and well designed with the comforts of a regular hotel: slippers, toothpaste, tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fridge, safe, iron, hair dryer, weighing machine, bathrobe, clock, desk, stool, chair, lounger, kettle, 4 cans of drink, 1 pack of chips & beverages, and at least 4 electrical points. - Bathroom and bed area is divided by frosted glass, not a wall. Water pressure is strong and the shower head can be detached from the wall for a more comprehensive wash. - Hotel is more than 10 years old so there were some stains on the curtain and carpet but not a big deal to me. - View is of surrounding buildings but these were quite a distance away so people can't see in. - Cleaning is done daily and standard was above average. Do remember to hang the ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the door 'cos the housekeeper surprised and shocked me at 6am! - Hotel Madera's rate was good value compared to three other hotels in the Jordan area. More importantly, it fulfilled my request for a room at the end of the corridor. I was quite impressed with Miss Fiona Wong at the Front Desk. On Day 2 morning, I handed her a piece of paper with 3 requests to make my stay more comfortable as it was winter. We didn't exchange a word as she was attending to other guests and we only nodded at each other. In the evening, I returned to a room with extra blanket, a hard pillow and a heater. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would gladly return to Hotel Madera during my annual holidays in Hong Kong.
