"Room good, staff service good, breakfast excellent. Only down sode was an accident I had in the sauna, the sauna had recently been refurbished and all wood surfaces are sealed with a PU like coating. This coating is water resistive making the sauna very slippery (which was why I slipped and fell) I reported to the hotel staff and whilst they offered to take me to hospital my injuries were not severe enough to warrant this. I asked for the hotel to provide a report and take action to ensure that no other guests slipped. No report and the action taken by the hotel was to put a non slip mate OUTSIDE the sauna which is of zero help to resolve the issue. I continued to use the sauna during my stay but I placed a bath mat INSIDE the sauna to ensure I did not have a repeat of my accident which had left me bruised and sore."
