The Charterhouse Causeway Bay

Everything was great except for the poor soundproofing. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation like the tram and MTR station nearby, and there are plenty of food options in the area.

This hotel is conveniently located between Causeway Bay and Wan Chai. It's also quite close to the Convention and Exhibition Centre MTR station, making transportation very accessible. There are many small eateries and restaurants nearby, though you can expect long queues during peak dining hours. The front desk, located next to the elevator, is a bit small but the service is attentive. The room itself is quite compact; once you put your luggage down, there's not much space left – but that's pretty typical for Hong Kong. However, it's well-equipped with amenities like a safe and a small fridge, which is handy for storing yogurt or fruit.

The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by the vibrant local life of Hong Kong, and very convenient for getting around. The accommodations have a charming, retro feel. While the room wasn't large, it was very clean and comfortable. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Facilities: There's a 24-hour gym, which the kids loved. Cleanliness: Relatively clean. Environment: The blackout curtains aren't great, but it wasn't too noisy being on the street. I'm not sure if it was the AC or the ventilation system, but it was a bit loud. You can't hear any noise from other rooms or upstairs, so overall it was okay. The two beds were pushed together, which was perfect for a family traveling with two kids. Service: Check-in and check-out were both quick, and the service was very thoughtful. Storing luggage at check-out was super convenient, and the front desk staff were very nice. Facilities: There are tram stops nearby and a bus stop right outside. There's also a fruit store and a pharmacy next to the hotel, and a 7-Eleven across the street, making dining, living, and transportation quite convenient. Being close to Times Square makes getting around easy. The hotel's logo isn't very prominent; I'd suggest hanging it higher and making it stand out with different colors and lights. Recommendation: Try the Yoshinoya nearby. It's close to the market, so you can also check out the market for good food.
