"The room quite small but clean. The location is very good near MTR and right of a lot of restuarants and convenience stores. But during my stay the upper floor have construction with very noisey, the noise start form 9 am. it is bad sound. When I ask the manager she juat said it is out pf control. I know but she might be offer to move to another room far from this area, but nothing offer. And another one thing, the housekeepers talking loudly, please improve.
However, I still recoomemded this place because the location is very convenience."

"The place was decent. We were on the 14th floor, and at first it was a bit tricky to find—we just tried going up since we couldn’t reach the numbers we were given. A sign on the ground floor would definitely help.
It’s basically one big flat divided into three rooms. We shared the unit with other guests (separate rooms), but we could hear some noise. The family next door had a baby, and for two nights we heard crying in the middle of the night.
The bed wasn’t that comfortable—the mattress was thin, and the frame seemed like two tables put together. The staff cleaned the room only on the first and last night.
On the plus side, they had enough supplies in the corridor like towels, toothpaste, and tissue, and there was also a water dispenser, which was handy."

"Had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The room was on the smaller side, but it was comfortable and just right for me and my son. The daily room service was a great touch—they provided fresh towels, tissues, and neatly fixed the bed each day. While there was no bidet, the handheld shower served as a convenient alternative. The amenities were complete as described, though guests should bring their own toothbrush and toothpaste.
One of the best things about this place was its accessibility. It was conveniently close to the bus station for airport transfers and just a short walk to Mong Kok MTR station, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a nice and hassle-free stay!
Sorry, I wasn't able to take pic of the room. Forgot, we are too busy during our stay, super enjoyed the stay, because it was close to everything you need. Literally room for sleep for us."

"The hotel has a very convenient location, close to Exit C2 of Tsim Sha Tsui Station and the Temple Street Night Market. In addition, the famous Bakehouse bakery is only about 200 meters away. I stayed here for 5 nights and truly have nothing to complain about. The only point I think people should take note of is that the room size is small and may not feel comfortable if you have high expectations for room quality. However, it matches the price I paid. If I have the chance to return to Hong Kong in the future, I think this place will be one of my top choices for accommodation."

"The hostel is in a very strategic location in Tsim Sha Tsui, just a short walk from the MRT station. There are also many great places to eat nearby, open until midnight. We switched from a standard room to the deluxe twin room for bigger space for most of our stay there, and the room was clean, allowing us to sleep well. The owner is very kind and friendly. She provided free laundry service and even folded our clothes after washing them, which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay in the Tsim Sha Tsui area."

"They try their best, and I am sure they give you the best they have, but the rooms are really small and not comfortable. I understand Hong Kong has one of the most expensive square meters in the world, but the room I slept first night was the worst I stayed in my life. They shouldn’t put anyone there. I had nightmares the entire evening. You can see the pictures. I asked to change and I paid more 6 US dollars per night for a 5 mts room. More 3% for paying with visa (the only place asked me that in the entire city). So, I would say, search better. Maybe you can get better, even in the same building.

A 60-square-meter lobby is free for guests to use. The environment is comfortable, the storage service has no time limit, the enthusiastic service makes the communication barrier-free, and the third insurance is bought for the guests, with 24 hours monitoring to ensure the safety.
"The area is great, eventhough the building is old. The service is very good. The landlady was great, she’s really accommodating thought there was a language barrier, but with AI language assistance, everything will be smooth. Overall. Our stay was pleasant. There’s a lot of stores, restaurants, money exchange in the area. Not to mention the public transport. So near from the bus stop and just a meter away from the MTR Jordan station. It’s very very convenient. 5 stars for madam..I just forgot her name. Very good people."

"The service attitude is good, and the hygiene is OK, but there is indeed a strong smell of kitchen fumes at night, which is very disturbing. It is even a bit choking when opening the bathroom. The sound insulation is not good. Guests who come back late do not have the awareness of keeping quiet, and the sound of karaoke can be heard downstairs.
The location is really good, close to the Causeway Bay MTR entrance, shopping is more convenient, and the bus station is also close.
Overall, it is still OK, but the smell of fumes does affect the experience of resting in the hotel after a tiring day. I hope it can be improved."

"Shine inn is a guest house. The landlord is very friendly and always cares about visitors. The room is clean, has a nice view with private bathroom. It's right in the center of Tsim Sha Tsui, next to the MTR. The price is affordable.

The room has all the basic needs… towel, private bathroom, hair dryer, disposable comb, toothbrush, shampoo, body wash, tissue, bottled water. Pillows and blankets were good enough. Hotel room price point is on point.
Had a problem though on the last day. Water dripped from the ceiling and straight to our bed. I reported it via wechat at around 5am, and reported it immediately. Hotel person-in-charge checked on it a few hours later, particularly after we checked out at around 9am… and then informed me that she checked on the bed but there was no water dripping. Good thing I took a video and photos of it.
Finally, the bathroom drain is not that good.

JJoeatonthegoI booked the female dorm and overall had a decent stay. The room is located inside an apartment that's shared with male guests, but the female dorm itself is private and secure. The dorm has two bathrooms, which was clean and convenient.
The location is perfect, right in Tsim Sha Tsui, just steps from the MTR and lots of food and shopping. The room was tidy and the bed was comfortable for a budget stay. It’s a good option for female travelers who don’t mind sharing the apartment space but still want a private room and bathroom.
Clearer information in the listing about the apartment layout would be helpful, but I’d still recommend it for short stays.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and easily accessible by airport bus A21/A22. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a shared kitchen on the 2nd floor, complete with a fridge and microwave. Due to Hong Kong's plastic reduction policy, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, and towel, or you can purchase them at the front desk. The room looks exactly like the pictures. They provide a key card that doubles as an elevator and room key, so security feels quite high. In the quad room, there's an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower area. While small, it's perfectly functional. Downstairs, there are many fantastic snack shops, all serving delicious food! Transportation is very convenient, and the beds are quite comfortable and clean. There's a slight creaking sound when turning over, but it's acceptable. Roommates are a bit of a lottery; this time, I ended up with night owls who came back late, showered, and organized their belongings, which really disturbed my sleep. However, that's just the nature of shared accommodation. Despite that, I'm still quite satisfied with the room itself. Nearby, the Tin Hau Temple and Yau Ma Tei Police Station are great spots to check out, both within walking distance. And definitely try Chan Kee Roasted Goose – it's absolutely delicious!

Qqueensrich1Say the words ”Chungking Mansions” to anyone who's spent time in Hong Kong and you're bound to get a snicker or two. That's understandable, I suppose; the place is indeed a circus, but I would argue that that's the primary source of its charm. Anyway, if all you need is a crash site in one of the world's most ridiculously expensive cities, this is the best value for money you're going to get. My room was closet-sized with taped-over windows which couldn't be opened, but it had a hot shower, air conditioning AND a ceiling fan, body soap and shampoo, a trash can, free Wi-Fi, a small night stand, a clean towel, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and numerous hooks on the walls to hang up my dirty clothes. No frills, to be sure, yet it served its purpose without costing much. And as an aside, DO NOT change money anywhere else in Hong Kong; the exchange counters right inside the CKM's front entrance on Nathan Road offer by far the best rates you're going to find.

AashandholIt’s a great location, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere. The staff are friendly. The lockers are good and the communal table spaces are great. There’s also slippers, a kettle, water filter tap and microwave/fridge. Bathrooms are make/female and are clean, good pressure and hot showers.
The bedrooms are cool and have good aircon. The pods are good, but the mattresses are very thin. We stayed here for 5 days and it wasn’t very comfortable.
Also, check in wasn’t very easy, it took a long time to get it to work as it didn’t seem to accept our name or booking number.

RRyant RhmdThe picture shown was not the same, but check in was smooth and we liked the size of the room than the one we booked at chungking mansion previously. Good to have a rest after long day exploring Hongkong. We stayed for three days, towel provided just hot water didn't always work in the morning.
