"Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended!
We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights, and the experience was great! The service was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful especially Queenie. She went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. She gave us clear directions on how to get around Hong Kong and even shared helpful tips on what to do in case we got lost in the city.
The location is also a big plus very accessible and within walking distance to everything you need, including shops, restaurants, and public transportation. It made exploring Hong Kong so much easier and more enjoyable.
Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Hong Kong!"

"Had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The room was on the smaller side, but it was comfortable and just right for me and my son. The daily room service was a great touch—they provided fresh towels, tissues, and neatly fixed the bed each day. While there was no bidet, the handheld shower served as a convenient alternative. The amenities were complete as described, though guests should bring their own toothbrush and toothpaste.
One of the best things about this place was its accessibility. It was conveniently close to the bus station for airport transfers and just a short walk to Mong Kok MTR station, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a nice and hassle-free stay!

This hostel is using window type air conditioner. Cooling performance is great. However, it is too noisy when turned on. Not a normal compressor noise level. Suggest Hostel management to check the condition of the ac. 😇

"We got windows which was nice. The location is rlly perfect, just along nathan road.
The Receptionist is non-english speaker. The room was clean, it wasnt that small, it was okay for 2 people. No hidden charges or additional cleaning charges. They provided only toothbrush and a disposable towel for the whole stay. It was secured and quiet. There’s a weird smell on the foyer or hallway as you enter the unit but it was okay. They provided 2 adapters in the room and has free wifi but sometimes it’s a bit slow. Overall, I’d recommend this and would book this again."

"The service attitude is good, and the hygiene is OK, but there is indeed a strong smell of kitchen fumes at night, which is very disturbing. It is even a bit choking when opening the bathroom. The sound insulation is not good. Guests who come back late do not have the awareness of keeping quiet, and the sound of karaoke can be heard downstairs.
The location is really good, close to the Causeway Bay MTR entrance, shopping is more convenient, and the bus station is also close.
Overall, it is still OK, but the smell of fumes does affect the experience of resting in the hotel after a tiring day. I hope it can be improved."

"The hostel is in a very strategic location in Tsim Sha Tsui, just a short walk from the MRT station. There are also many great places to eat nearby, open until midnight. We switched from a standard room to the deluxe twin room for bigger space for most of our stay there, and the room was clean, allowing us to sleep well. The owner is very kind and friendly. She provided free laundry service and even folded our clothes after washing them, which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay in the Tsim Sha Tsui area."

Luohu Port and Futian Port by subway at Jordan Station B1 exit (about 45 minutes). Take the MTR from Sheung Wan to Jordan Station (about 15 minutes). A 60-square-meter lobby is free for guests to use. The environment is comfortable, the storage service has no time limit, the enthusiastic service makes the communication barrier-free, and the third insurance is bought for the guests, with 24 hours monitoring to ensure the safety.
"The area is great, eventhough the building is old. The service is very good. The landlady was great, she’s really accommodating thought there was a language barrier, but with AI language assistance, everything will be smooth. Overall. Our stay was pleasant. There’s a lot of stores, restaurants, money exchange in the area. Not to mention the public transport. So near from the bus stop and just a meter away from the MTR Jordan station. It’s very very convenient. 5 stars for madam..I just forgot her name. Very good people."

TThaicom WanaknanThis was my second trip to Hong Kong in 11 years, and the first time for my family. Hong Kong has changed quite a lot since my last visit. Notably, the Hong Kong government has increased airport and accommodation taxes, which has made both airfare and hotel prices higher than before.
Before our trip, we searched for various accommodations to compare prices and locations. Of course, places outside the city are generally cheaper, have larger rooms, and offer more facilities but accessibility can be quite inconvenient.
Eventually, we found this place: Kam Mum Guest House. It’s located right in the heart of Mongkok, just about 300 meters from MTR Mongkok Exit E and E1. This was actually our first time staying at a guest house, so we were a bit worried about the quality whether we’d have to share the building with local residents, for example. But when we arrived, all our worries disappeared. The guest house occupies the entire 21st floor of Sun Hing Building, making it a private and secure space for guests.
The rooms at Kam Mum Guest House resemble small hotel rooms — compact but well-equipped. The bed was large and comfortable. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it wasn’t an issue for us. As for service — on a scale of 1 to 10, we’d give it an 11! The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. (By the way, the candies at the reception desk were really tasty don’t forget to grab some when you visit! Haha!)
The guest house also provides luggage storage, a common lounge area, and free access to a refrigerator and microwave.
If we have the chance, we’ll definitely stay here again. The location in the center of Mongkok is incredibly convenient for transportation, dining, and shopping and best of all, the price is only around 2,000+ THB per night.

The room has all the basic needs… towel, private bathroom, hair dryer, disposable comb, toothbrush, shampoo, body wash, tissue, bottled water. Pillows and blankets were good enough. Hotel room price point is on point.
Had a problem though on the last day. Water dripped from the ceiling and straight to our bed. I reported it via wechat at around 5am, and reported it immediately. Hotel person-in-charge checked on it a few hours later, particularly after we checked out at around 9am… and then informed me that she checked on the bed but there was no water dripping. Good thing I took a video and photos of it.
Finally, the bathroom drain is not that good.

JJoeatonthegoI booked the female dorm and overall had a decent stay. The room is located inside an apartment that's shared with male guests, but the female dorm itself is private and secure. The dorm has two bathrooms, which was clean and convenient.
The location is perfect, right in Tsim Sha Tsui, just steps from the MTR and lots of food and shopping. The room was tidy and the bed was comfortable for a budget stay. It’s a good option for female travelers who don’t mind sharing the apartment space but still want a private room and bathroom.
Clearer information in the listing about the apartment layout would be helpful, but I’d still recommend it for short stays.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and easily accessible by airport bus A21/A22. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a shared kitchen on the 2nd floor, complete with a fridge and microwave. Due to Hong Kong's plastic reduction policy, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, and towel, or you can purchase them at the front desk. The room looks exactly like the pictures. They provide a key card that doubles as an elevator and room key, so security feels quite high. In the quad room, there's an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower area. While small, it's perfectly functional. Downstairs, there are many fantastic snack shops, all serving delicious food! Transportation is very convenient, and the beds are quite comfortable and clean. There's a slight creaking sound when turning over, but it's acceptable. Roommates are a bit of a lottery; this time, I ended up with night owls who came back late, showered, and organized their belongings, which really disturbed my sleep. However, that's just the nature of shared accommodation. Despite that, I'm still quite satisfied with the room itself. Nearby, the Tin Hau Temple and Yau Ma Tei Police Station are great spots to check out, both within walking distance. And definitely try Chan Kee Roasted Goose – it's absolutely delicious!

Qqueensrich1Say the words ”Chungking Mansions” to anyone who's spent time in Hong Kong and you're bound to get a snicker or two. That's understandable, I suppose; the place is indeed a circus, but I would argue that that's the primary source of its charm. Anyway, if all you need is a crash site in one of the world's most ridiculously expensive cities, this is the best value for money you're going to get. My room was closet-sized with taped-over windows which couldn't be opened, but it had a hot shower, air conditioning AND a ceiling fan, body soap and shampoo, a trash can, free Wi-Fi, a small night stand, a clean towel, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and numerous hooks on the walls to hang up my dirty clothes. No frills, to be sure, yet it served its purpose without costing much. And as an aside, DO NOT change money anywhere else in Hong Kong; the exchange counters right inside the CKM's front entrance on Nathan Road offer by far the best rates you're going to find.

AAnonymous UserThe lady there is super nice - great hostess and such a warm person! Facilities were decent, there is a TV and they provide toothbrush, towel albeit things were kinda old and run down. Nicely sized room and bed. Blanket is just a thin cover though, there is no duvet. Everything seemed clean EXCEPT the floors had dirt and dust, so I had to wear shoes inside the room.

AashandholIt’s a great location, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere. The staff are friendly. The lockers are good and the communal table spaces are great. There’s also slippers, a kettle, water filter tap and microwave/fridge. Bathrooms are make/female and are clean, good pressure and hot showers.
The bedrooms are cool and have good aircon. The pods are good, but the mattresses are very thin. We stayed here for 5 days and it wasn’t very comfortable.
Also, check in wasn’t very easy, it took a long time to get it to work as it didn’t seem to accept our name or booking number.
