I actually liked Park Lane Hotel.. very good location, lively environment, up to 11pm, shops everywhere. The harbour is also walking distance, very nice view! The hotel itself is also nice, from the lobby to the room. Rooms are a little cramped, but HK rooms are generally small so not really surprised. Food were delicious. The sky restaurant has spectacular view. The function room also has great city/harbour view!

Let’s do direct review: Location without any doubt at best (5/5). Staffs: 5/5. Breakfast: 5/5 (you can also refer to pic). Room size (small compared to what you pay, 4/5). Bathroom (5/5, considering room size). What they can do better: of course you can’t change room size, but you can upgrade it to modern room. Mattresses and pillow qualities (3/5) can be improved (it’s not up to standard of 5-star hotel). They should consider providing coffee machine in the room, not just kettles to prepare hot water to make coffee.

We booked two rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, and my parents were extremely satisfied with their stay. They stayed in a room with two large double beds, and everything was perfect. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the room size was spacious and very comfortable.
All aspects—service, facilities, location, and cleanliness—were absolutely top-notch, deserving a full 10/10. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and luxurious stay, especially for families!

The room is great, spacious and comfy. The pool is good however lots of maintenance slots during the day. They close it around 1:30 and then reopen around 2 hours later. Then, close at 6 or 7pm? When to enjoy it when pick ours it is being cleaned? It makes no sense…

Kowloon Shangri-La offers an excellent location with stunning harbor view rooms that truly elevate the experience. However, the service left much to be desired, as some staff were unfriendly (rather rude), and the check-in process was particularly frustrating, with a 40-minute wait. Additionally, the hotel doesn't cater much to children, and the pool is quite small, which might be disappointing for families. While the views and location are a highlight, these shortcomings detract from an otherwise promising stay.

One of the best location hotels I have stayed in HK. Walking distances to major train lines, super easy access to MOKO Mall, Mong Kok East shopping and great eateries. The room is spacious, staff friendly and all daily essentials for comfortable hotel stay are included. It will be great if the toilet bowl included a bidet but it's just something great to have. Will certainly opt to stay here again in my next visit to HK with family or friends!

New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel: Harbour Views & Bridal Shower Fun!
So, I recently stayed at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel for a girls' night/bridal shower, specifically booking a Harbour View Room for the occasion. 🎉 The lobby's pretty grand, with high ceilings and a cool circular skylight. ✨ Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. 👍
The elevators have little sofas by them – nice touch! The room itself (around 300 sq ft) was spacious enough, but the decor is a bit dated and nothing too exciting. It's a bit old-school, you know? 🤷♀️ Carpet floors, which I'm not a huge fan of, but they were clean. The highlight, of course, was the harbour view! 🌃 While not quite as dramatic as the official website photos, it was still a decent view of Victoria Harbour, definitely worth it for the price.
The room had everything we needed: a comfy king-size bed 🛌 (just the right firmness), bedside lamps, power outlets, and USB charging ports on both sides – super convenient for phones and gadgets. Electric curtains, too! The minibar had a kettle, free bottled water, and a quirky antique-looking bronze ice bucket – loved that detail! Inside the minibar drawers were coffee cups, tea bags, coffee sachets, etc.
The bathroom had a separate shower and a big bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak! 🛁 The toiletries were from Borghese, which smelled great and were pretty good quality. The sink area was a decent size with plenty of space for our stuff, plus hand soap, lotion, and the usual disposable amenities.
Overall, the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel offers decent value for money. 💰 While the decor could use an update, the location is great (right by Hung Hom MTR station), the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is good. If you're looking for an affordable harbour view hotel, this is a solid option. But if you're after trendy design and luxury, this might not be the place for you. 🤔
Pros:
📍 Convenient location near the MTR
🌃 Harbour views (though not exactly as advertised!)
Spacious and comfortable rooms
🛀 Bathtub!
🧴 Nice Borghese toiletries
💁🏻♀️ Friendly service
Cons:
Outdated decor
Carpet floors (not for everyone)
View not quite as pictured

GGuest UserTravelling with family of 6, including baby, young kid and elderly. Staffs were super friendly and polite, they were able to accommodate for a connecting room and also answered lots of questions we had. Rooms were clean and spacious.
We went to the breakfast buffet in the morning and there were lots of options, food was ok in general (better than the food at the park). However, there was a 60-minute limit to enjoy your meal, plus to line up for photos with the disney character, we’d found it wasn’t enough when you have 2 kids. There was only one disney character at breakfast, we were hoping to meet at least another one. It was a little disappointing considering with the price we paid.
We enjoyed the activities at the hotel, the time table provided was helpful. It’s nice to find out that we could continue to enjoy the amenities even we had checked out on that day. We visited the kids play room, there wasn’t much and toys were limited so our kids didn’t stay long, but it’s free for hotel guests.
Overall, we had a great experience staying at the hotel. We will definitely go back if we visit HK disneyland again.

GGuest UserI traveled to this hotel few times before but I will base my comparison/review on last time in Sept 2023. Overall the hotel is really nice and amenities are good but the level of service has dropped significantly since my last stay. The check in/check out times can be up to 90 minutes, the staff is very slow and there and not a lot of stations to check in during “rush” hours (12/15). The staff clicks endlessly on their keyboard and nothing comes out of it.
Since it was Chinese valentines I wanted to surprise my gf with some flowers - the reception staff said it’s impossible because you need to book flowers two days in advance and the florist is closed. In a hotel with this many stars I expect better solutions. They offered some sweets later but in the end I had to search for the florist myself and buy the flowers.
I booked massage on the day of departure for two persons 90 mins (around 3500 hkd) and the only time available was 11.30. So I asked at the reception of the possibility of late checkout - the lady said and I’m quoting “you can checkout in the morning”. I was astonished. I asked to confirm the possibility with manager. The hotel called the spa to confirm if I’m not lying and reluctantly agreed to late checkout. Last time when I was in that hotel this wouldn’t have happened. The staff reception is rude and robotic. Maybe expect Sera which was great.
The staff at the gym greeted me with “hey man” - I expect at such hotel to be welcomed “good morning sir” or such I’m not your friend but a customer. During the massage the masseuse was laughing when I started snoring a bit - awfully unprofessional. Room service is quick and the food portions are large but the it tastes bland. Room are quite clean but the smudges on the windows weren’t cleaned for the whole duration of our stay.
Overall I have to rethink if I ever want to come back again.

LLawrencehwdRoom was nice with a lovely view of the water and a big terrace as we had one of the corner room. It wasn’t the cleanest however, with a few stains on the carpet. We went for dinner in the Lagoon and ordered the ‘Prime US Ribeye Steak’ which cost just under $400, however what came was the thinnest, toughest piece of meat. If you do stay at the hotel then I would recommend walking 10 minutes to the plaza. The restaurants there looked much nicer.
For $800 it was worth the cost though, I would recommend it if you are looking for a little staycation within Hong Kong. If you are coming here from abroad, I wouldn’t recommend it as it is very far from everything.
TTempy_babyHighly recommended for families. This is its own little
town with supermarket, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and pharmacy. We took the free morning shuttle to Disney and had a wonderful time. Very convenient and cost effective. The breakfast buffet is nice and the Christmas decor was superb. We will definitely be staying again. Just wish the hotel had an ATM machine
GGuest UserThe stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The room was spotless, cozy, and had a stunning view, as shown in the picture. LLJonesThis hotel is located within the airport, which was amazing. There are signs that are highlighted in red that direct you to the location of the hotel. After a long day, decompressing in the cushy beds was a relief and very brought a lot of comfort. My favorite part of the hotel was the fast and efficient check in process. Even with an estimated 50 people in line in front of me on a super busy holiday weekend, the staff was polite, swift, and professional. Kudos!

DDar MichI recently had an amazing trip to Hong Kong and Macau. The service throughout was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured a great experience. The facilities were top-notch, especially in the hotels and attractions, which were clean and well-maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed the local cuisine, particularly the dim sum in Hong Kong and the Portuguese egg tarts in Macau, both of which were highlights of my culinary adventure. Overall, I highly recommend visiting these vibrant destinations for their rich culture, delicious food, and warm hospitality.
