"The room was very spacious. We had booked a triple room, but the hotel kindly offered a complimentary upgrade to a quad room. For 837 RMB per night, this also included three buffet breakfasts. The breakfast buffet provided a good variety of options. There's a swimming pool located next to the restaurant, which makes for a pleasant setting. "I stayed in a Family Room for two nights that included a buffet breakfast for 3 adults. The hotel's location is very convenient from HK Airport if you are traveling by airport bus. We took the A31 airport bus and while the journey was around 35 minutes, the bus stop is right next to the hotel that is great as we had several pieces of luggage. The same can be said for our return trip to the airport. The closest MTR station is a brisk 10 minutes walk. The hotel itself is good without being outstanding. The hotel's facilities are good and as it's located within a shopping mall, there are plenty of dining and shopping options. The room that we were in is a bit dated, had a musky smell and in general in need of a bit of TLC, but otherwise it was fine. The gym is good, as is the outdoor swimming pool. As the hotel's name suggests, the hotel is panda themed and in the there are a lot of panda decorations and cuddly pandas throughout the common areas. Breakfast was buffet style with a mix of Asian and.Western fare and was pretty good on both mornings. Hot drinks options were extremely limited- if you don't like coffee then it's hot water for you."

GGuest UserThe room was optimally sized , providing a comfortable balance of space and functionality. A larger smart TV was highlight, offering excellent entertainment options like you tube . The air conditioning performed very well, maintaining a consistently pleasant temperature throughout the stay. A mini fridge was available, though its capacity was limited to a few cans of beverages, which may not be sufficient for guests requiring more storage.Overall , the room was well-equipped and provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in before noon. I was even upgraded to a room with a fantastic, expansive view. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, with the added bonus of being able to prepare simple meals – a huge plus! The night view was absolutely stunning, and the location couldn't be better. It's just a 6-minute walk to the Victoria Peak Tram and a quick 10 minutes to the Central business district. The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens are conveniently located right downstairs, and the lush greenery viewed from the window was incredibly soothing.

SShijie LeeClean room, simple breakfast, moderate location The room was clean and comfortable, just the right size for a short stay. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day — mainly bread, eggs, and some fruit. The location is decent, about 10–15 minutes’ walk to the nearest MTR station, so it’s not the most convenient if you have lots of luggage, but manageable. Staff were polite and check-in was smooth. Overall, a good value stay if you don’t mind walking a bit.

CChaiVHotel is pretty decent for HK and the price we paid, considering holiday season. But disappointed for a 4-Star chain standards. All basic facilities are provided. No frills. More like a 3-star than a 4-star. Shuttle makes it easier to get to shopping centre, closer to trains and buses to the city. Pool is only open during specific hours but they do have a lifeguard in duty so I’m not sure if I can complain. Gym has bare minimum equipment. They did mention we got an upgrade but the room is similar to what we booked. It’s a modern-tiny space-saving design room so it’s smart but annoying with the lack of cupboards, floor space etc. Everything in the room is tightly packed. You just get in, sleep an get out but that’s Hong Kong I guess.

99966xiangI pre-booked a sea-view suite and even went so far as to email the hotel with detailed explanations and specific requests. However, this hotel clearly doesn't care about its guests! I particularly felt there was a subtle discrimination against mainland Chinese guests. Firstly, they never respond to any online reviews, and secondly, all mainland guests seem to be assigned to lower floors. Despite the hotel having over 400 rooms, and my prior request via email for a high-floor room, the front desk staff completely disregarded my request. They flat-out refused, stating that only rooms on the fifth floor were available. The entire check-in experience was extremely unpleasant. The bed linens were acceptable, but the in-room amenities like shower gel, shampoo, and towels were of extremely poor quality! Even when I and other guests went to the self-service vending machine on the first floor to purchase disposable toiletries, those were also terrible, low-quality products! It's almost as if they think mainland guests have no money, but these are products we simply wouldn't use! Hong Kong hotels need to seriously reflect on their approach; mainland guests are becoming more discerning and expect higher quality standards. An honest assessment: The hotel management *must* change its mindset! They can no longer serve mainland guests with such an attitude and outdated thinking. I recall an old promotional advertisement for Hong Kong's service industry starring Andy Lau; to quote a line from it: 'In this day and age, such service simply won't do!' Note: I haven't uploaded any unflattering photos. I truly hope the hotel management undergoes a fundamental change in their attitude and philosophy.

GGuest UserThis is my 4th stay in a room on the 39th floor. Everything was fine before. Unfortunately, this time I had to spend a lot of time and nerves, which was not part of my plans. The pool on the 39th floor next to the room was used by a homeless person to spend the night. In addition, he smoked, shook ashes into the pool, and drank alcohol. All this happened on the only sun lounger. This is only what I saw passing by in the evening and at night. Unfortunately, the staff could not solve the problem the first time I asked and I had to ask for help at least 5 times. In the end, they offered me to act as a surveillance camera and if a homeless person appears, to inform them. Thank you very much. Of course, I understand the mentality of people in Hong Kong, but in China, I can hardly even imagine such a situation. I strongly advise against using this pool and staying on the top floor due to a serious security breach. Anyone from the street can enter your territory, since it is separated only by a low partition. My things were not in the room, but after entering the door. Unfortunately, after leaving, I discovered that a bottle of perfume was missing. The money and documents were in the safe, everything was fine with them. I think this is due to this person entering my territory. I closed the door to the room at night and the balcony. Perhaps this saved my valuables. In the middle of my vacation, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. It was really gigantic. Thanks to the cleaning service. They were able to catch it and take it away. I hope the hotel management will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of guests. Therefore, I will not give a bad rating to my favorite chain. I usually don't write reviews about hotels. And in such detail. But this time my wife made me write. She serves in the police and is very attentive to security issues. She said that she was very worried about having a stranger nearby. I think this is an exaggeration. She was probably offended that she was not congratulated on her birthday in this hotel, as she is used to in other hotels with a card or a compliment. She just happened to have a birthday when she checked in 😁😁😁

AAnonymous UserNot convinced of the 4-star rating, here’s why: CONS: - location is about 8-15 mins walk to the subway (Jordan Station) (with uphill part) - the room smells and some parts of the wall has stains (i supposed its molds but not a hundred percent sure since their covered with wall paper) - no complimentary water, no basic sanitary kits - the mugs were just laid beside the sink (unhygienic) PROS: - AC is true to its temperature - many restaurant downstairs + there’s a 7/11 Hope the management can improve and maintain their facilities so they could live by the 4-stat expectations.
