Summit Views Hakuba
"The location is very good, just near Happo-one, parking is also convenient and spacious, the front desk service is very enthusiastic, and introduced the ski resort's evening business hours. The lobby lounge is cozy, but the public bath is not very good. I hardly saw anyone using it. I prefer to go to the nearby Happo-one Onsen for a bath. It is cheap and good."
Hotel Sierra Resort Hakuba
"I do like the hotel itself, however the front desk service has to improve , especially for the language skill, and the respondent of the email, is too late, in order to avoid the communication problems."
Hakuba Tokyu Hotel
"Very well spoken check in staff who knows English which was very helpful. Cosy hotel and parking is free as a guest here. Thou it's not sheltered. Gave us a bottle of honey for our anniversary."
Hakuba sun valley Hotel
"The hotel's service was excellent, the views were great, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It was also very clean and tidy. The host was incredibly warm and friendly. Plus, during the ski season, you can ski in and ski out! Highly recommend this place; I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Hakuba Goryu for skiing."
Wakata Lodge Hakuba
"Good location - quiet and near Iwatake. Friendly staff. Breakfast is simple but good portion."
SamaSama Lodge Hakuba
"The accommodation is about an 8-10 minute walk from Escal Plaza, which is very convenient. The environment is new and clean, and the staff are friendly and can communicate in English. I'm so glad I stayed here! 🤗"
Hotel la Vigne Hakuba by Onko Chishin
"We do really love this hotel. It’s on our special occasion and they contacted us prior to arrive if we want to have cake. They also arrange a hand written card which is very cute. The room is spacious with nice decoration, room also have a kitchen and dining area with ding tools. Staff is very helpful and friendly, we planned for a cherry blossom but it’s too soon. She recommends us for a nearby town with full bloom period. I can’t remember her name but she’s great. For next time in Hakuba, we’ll surely stay here again!"
Casa Kokoro Hakuba

Garden Pension Obergurgl
"The innkeeper was incredibly welcoming, and the retro ambiance was fantastic. Our stay was excellent, and the location is super convenient for Wulong Ski Resort. Every day, heading out to ski and coming back, the innkeeper would warmly greet us and chat, creating a really great atmosphere."
Restaurant & Hotel Traumerei
"Loved the private onsen. The ladies were so helpful and attentive in the hotel. We never ate dinner there as it’s a French restaurant and we wanted Japanese food. The breakfast was brought up to the room and consisted of fresh baked croissants and butter and jam and coffee. NOT a full breakfast. "
Hakuba Mominoki Hotel
"It is a very nice hotel and breakfast is very good also the hotel have a nice Onsen."
Hotel la Montagne Furuhata
"Room does not come with any amenities, asked the front desk host if they have any shampoo or shower gel, unfortunately they are only available in the public bathroom. The older reception man seems a bit unfriendly but the young man at the breakfast room was great."
Hatago Maruhachi
"This hotel promises a charming stay in a unique atmosphere with traditional Japanese architecture, and it absolutely delivers, if the goal was historical accuracy over modern comfort. While the interiors have technically been “renovated,” the experience feels more like a living museum exhibit titled “How People Survived Before Electricity and Heating.” There is no central heating and only a limited number of portable heaters are provided. Similarly, the dry room is inadequate being an outside structure with a literal barbeque as the heating device, a recipe for wet ski gear. Lighting was also minimal. Cleanliness, unfortunately, took a creative direction. The number of cockroaches found was hard to ignore. One even took the liberty of crawling across a pillow, which was an interesting way to be welcomed. For a country renowned for world-class hygiene, this was a truly unexpected cultural experience. On a good note, the staff were polite and unfailingly apologetic. Sadly, they appeared to be very junior and entirely unable to resolve any issues, serving mainly as emotional support. In summary, perfect for travellers seeking a dark, cold, and spontaneous insect encounters. Anyone expecting warmth, cleanliness, or basic comfort may wish to look… literally anywhere else."

Pension Marionette
"Recommending this place!"
Hakuba Canadian Lodge
"It was a very pleasant stay and I would like to use it again. However, for some reason, a lot of ants came into the room. I didn't know where they were coming from, and I was surprised to find out why there were so many energetic ants in Hakuba, even though we rarely see ants in Tokyo during the winter. I also thought it would be convenient to have a rice scoop for the rice cooker, a dish towel, or kitchen paper. Honestly, it would have been more comfortable if there was a sofa or something like that."
Evo Hotel Hakuba
"Great boutique hotel right beside Happo Bus Terminal. Newly renovated/built with beautiful decor & rooms. There was a sakura tree just outside our window & alps view out another window. Lawsons & a public bath just across the road + shuttle bus service to both Goryo & Happo resorts. It was pretty empty as it was Spring but the views in the area was still breathtaking. Highly recommended for Golden Week travels!"
Courtyard by Marriott Hakuba
"The hotel offers a shuttle service to JR Hakuba Station and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal. We booked the shuttle and it was incredibly convenient! Thank you very much! The only minor downside was that the hotel gym didn't have any dumbbells. 😁"
Hotel Hakuba Hifumi
"Nice onsen in the room Room is spacious and clean Delicious food and friendly staff Highly recommended to stay"
Hakuba Pension & Log Hotel Meteor
"Beautiful wooden house, clean and hygienic. There are rooms with bathrooms. Some rooms are shared. WiFi is not available in some rooms. Since it is a wooden house, you have to walk lightly. Overall, it is very good! Consider staying here if you have the opportunity to come to Hakuba!"
Community House Tyrolien
"Good. The food is delicious and the view from the accommodation is beautiful."

"Cozy little box. There is no fence around the property. It is located on a busy intersection of two main roads. When you unload your luggage which just under everyone’s eyes. No privacy at all. It is very close to JR station. You will feel the vibration when the train is passing by. Not for light sleeper."
Eternal Flame
"Best location and hospitality you could ask for, the hosts will go above and beyond for the guests and the food is also spot on. Highly recommend"
