Hakuba Highland Hotel

The rooms are a bit old, but still comfortable for sleeping. The air conditioning works great. Breakfast isn't extensive, but everything is delicious. There are many onsen options, including both public and private baths. The outdoor public bath lives up to the reviews with a great view; it's spacious and large, offering clear views of the Japanese Alps. However, the private bath is more relaxing (it costs extra and requires a reservation with the hotel). It's advisable to have a car for transportation as it's quite far from the train station.

The accommodation is elegant, and the location is quiet and comfortable, though the room is a bit small. The food is great and highly recommended.

The mountain view outside the window was stunning, and the hot spring was incredibly relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the dinner and breakfast were excellent in terms of quality and variety. Forgoing daily room cleaning during our consecutive stay earned us a 500 yen shopping voucher per day, which we happily used to buy a bag of apples. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend it.

This is a great place to stay! The view from the accommodation is absolutely stunning, and it's super convenient to get around. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hakuba.

I was able to relax and warm up thoroughly in the onsen (hot spring bath) while enjoying the view of the Hakuba mountain range. Both breakfast and dinner were served buffet style, and all the food was delicious.
