We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! It truly exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect setting for our family getaway. From the moment we arrived, the caretaker's service was truly exceptional. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their warmth and professionalism made a huge difference. The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure the comfort and hygiene of the guests. As a whole-house rental with three spacious bedrooms, it was perfectly suited for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. One of the major conveniences was the fully equipped kitchen. It had every single cooking utensil and appliance we could possibly need, which made preparing meals for the family easy and enjoyable.

Hotel La Vigne Hakuba was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful minimalist design and feels clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Both the lobby and rooms were pleasantly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The concierge team was extremely helpful and the overall service throughout the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a very functional layout. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel also provides excellent facilities for skiers, including a dedicated storage and locker room for ski equipment, as well as a separate shower room where guests can freshen up and change after skiing on the day of check-out. Overall, a fantastic stay at Hotel La Vigne Hakuba — highly recommended.

Excellent! The environment is beautiful! The room is clean! The service is great! The food is decent! The hotel facilities are very comprehensive! It feels wonderful to look out at the snow-capped mountains! Very comfortable! It's very close to the ski resort!

The hotel's dining is definitely a highlight, especially dinner, which rivals some Michelin-starred restaurants, featuring a generous use of local ingredients. The afternoon tea popcorn and jam cheese were also delicious, and there's a free flow of red wine, white wine, sake, and various teas. I also recommend booking the silk bath early; having it to myself for nearly an hour was fantastic. The hotel's location is also good, not far from Mu Pond Ski Resort, making transportation convenient. What's worth complaining about is the service, which was genuinely subpar. There aren't many English-speaking staff, and communicating with some of the older female front desk staff felt difficult. Plus, the rooms aren't properly cleaned; the toilet and vanity aren't wiped down. They just make the bed and change some towels. The hotel is a little old, and the facilities are just okay.

The Hakuba Hotel prices are generally on the higher side, but this one offers pretty good value for money. It's a room over 40 square meters, perfect for a family of four, with two beds and a tatami area. You just need to lay out the tatami futon yourself. There's a free shuttle to Hakuba ski resort, though the schedule is a bit limited.

Even though I booked the smallest room, with two tatami mats practically filling the entire space, it was still very cozy and charming, especially with the public onsen. The breakfast, prepared by a foreigner, was absolutely delicious; I really enjoyed the whole European-style set. Besides the small room, all the amenities were excellent, and the bathroom was great too! 👍

Just finished with the kindergarten lottery, so I took some time off to bring my two kids to Hakuba for an off-peak relaxation trip, and this hotel was a great experience! 1. **Excellent Service**: They have staff who speak Chinese, so communication was seamless. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and proactively recommended many local activities suitable for kids. Even though it's not the peak ski season, bringing the kids here for outdoor activities in Hakuba during this time was so comfortable and enjoyable. 2. **Comfortable Stay**: The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It was very comfortable for us and the kids. The room has its own private toilet. The showers are on the first floor, which I knew beforehand from my research, and it was perfectly fine for both me and the kids! 3. **Lovely Atmosphere**: The overall feeling was like staying at a relative's house in Japan – warm and cozy, without the impersonal feel of a typical hotel. The kids felt very relaxed playing here. 4. **Incredible Value for Money**: To have such a great experience at this price is truly fantastic value!

I stayed here alone and really enjoyed my trip. The whole hotel had a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, allowing me to relax and unwind surrounded by Hakuba's nature. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hot spring bath was fantastic, perfect for soothing my tired body after a day of sightseeing. The staff were consistently polite and attentive, which made my stay even more pleasant. Breakfast offered a great variety, including local ingredients, leaving me feeling satisfied every morning. The hotel's quiet surroundings were lovely for walks, and its location, immersed in Hakuba's natural beauty, was a real highlight. It's also a convenient base for exploring. I would definitely want to stay here again if I visit Hakuba in the future.

A great hotel right next to the ski lift, delicious dinner and breakfast. Great service, very helpful and pleasant staff. 😊 The hotel has a large fireplace in the lobby. 🔥 There are also hot pools indoors and outdoors.
