"This trip to Florence was my most satisfying trip in Italy because of the size of the room, the facilities, and the hotel's service attitude. In terms of transportation, it is only five minutes away from the rail transit. There is also a lidl next to it. The guy at the front desk pointed out an internet celebrity restaurant to me. It is 500 meters away on the right hand side of the hotel."

It's within walking distance of Santa Maria Novella Station and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
Please note that the front desk is not open 24 hours. If you check in outside of hours, you'll need to pick up your key at a nearby hotel about 300 meters away. Please contact the hotel in advance via email to arrange this.
The room I booked was quite comfortable, with ample space and a balcony, providing good sunlight and air.
However, the elevator was too small and confined, making it uncomfortable. You can use the stairs instead."

"THe hotel is dated - it would be nice to look old on the outside and up to date on the inside. It was hard to figure out how to turn on the AC - glad it worked though. Location is good, but the problem is parking - you cannot park on the street - had to park about 10-12 minute away, in a public parking. Breakfast is surprisingly good, with several options to choose from. The extra bed was flimsy, with the wood springs falling twice. Not a lot of space in the room - but, in a way, expected in Europe (especially coming from US). It would be good for the people upfront to share all the options and restrictions when it comes to parking. The lady in the morning included my car in the system, because you can get a ticket even by entering the restricted area."

My room was super tiny but okay for one person. I recommend asking for a room away from the elevator which was quite noisey being right outside my door and with guests chatting there."

"A very nice hotel!! It is not in the center of Florence, it is in a small town nearby. It is 25 minutes by train from the Santa Maria Novella station. The only bad thing is that you cannot stay late in Florence because to get to the hotel, you have to cross a park that is very lonely. But if you are going with your family, it is really worth staying there. It is in front of the river with a spectacular view. I loved it and I would go back!!"

The location is around 25mins away from the main station but the transportation was available and convenient to commute. There are no supermarkets nearby so better get your snacks or water bottles from the central. Would definitely recommend the stay overall 👍"
