We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of red and water and tea and coffee machine. Tge bathroom was super cool we had an ensuite each and a massive spa . It fits easily 4 adults or two adults and three kids with an extra bedroom upstairs. It’s close to everything andl mean everything. Thanks for a memorable three nights Alei they have a washing machine dnd dryer and no expensive which was super convenient seeing we had heaps of washing xo"

"We stayed in a Studio Suite, and the experience was excellent. The apartment is brand new, beautifully designed, and truly luxurious, with great attention to detail. Everything felt thoughtfully done — from the fittings to the comfort level. The kitchenette was extremely helpful, especially for a longer stay, and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and responsive, and housekeeping was excellent — the apartment was consistently spotless and well maintained. One very useful tip for future guests: the C2 bus, which stops right in front of the Anglo American Hotel, takes you directly into the city centre and is far cheaper than taxis. We discovered this only later in our stay, and it would be great if the hotel shared this information with guests on arrival — it makes getting into Florence much easier. Overall, a wonderful stay — modern, comfortable, and well managed. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality stay in Florence."

"Hotel indigo is located within 6-8mins walk from the Firenze Centrale Station which makes travelling to other cities and town easily accessible. About 15-20mins walk to places of interest like Duomo and Ponte Vecchio with many restaurants and shops along the way. Modern and Comfortable beds with quiet backyard views,away from road noise although it is located along a small stretch of road especially for trams. We are able to catch a distance view of the duomo from our hotel room. Overall we had a pleasant stay and a great vacation in Florence."

"We arrived to a mosquito infested room. After killing 10 ourselves the hotel staff smoked out the hold outs while we went to dinner. Otherwise, the hotel is located in a slightly rough, bland and unattractive neighbourhood, but you can get to a more vibrant area within 5-10 minutes walk. It is a conversion of an old terraced house which clearly had some beautiful features, like a fresco in our room. The conversion has not been executed in a way which does justice to the building. The breakfast is underwhelming, no different to what you would get in an average hotel - very limited choice, no granola, super market grade cornflakes, etc. Common areas downstairs are small. Staff try their best, but the hotel is nothing special, over-rated, over-sold as a luxury hotel and massively overpriced in my opinion. We spent the other half of our Florence visit in a much nicer hotel at half the price in a much better location."

"The hotel is ok for few nights, but doesn’t match my expectations. It’s clearly not 4star. Just mediocre quality of 3. It’s an old hotel on side street close to Florence train station, nothing special, there are many other hotels like that. Rooms and hotel itself is old, there is ongoing renovations and some rooms are fully new, but it’s much more expensive and for that price you can clearly find better hotel. Breakfast is poor. It’s not for disabled people for sure, because access to some rooms includes our by the stairs. It has an interesting garden, but it’s just old. There was girls every evening, She plays the harp beautifully. Plus for that experience. I thought it was an actual boutique hotel, but it’s outdated. We have asked staff for better room, but it was rejected and they asked to pay twice of price we paid for our room already. So it was clearly not worth it."
