"The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station, which was incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. I even went up to the rooftop in the morning to snap some photos; you get a nice view of the city's buildings, and it's definitely a photogenic spot. The room key had a distinctively large tag, which I found quite charming."

"Excellent room views, very friendly staff (thanks Eleonora :)), good air conditioner and WiFi. However, it’s 20-min walk to most of attractions, given that the uber is quite expensive, the bus is not always punctual and the hot temperature outside, it makes the location of the hotel sth to be considered."

"It was exactly as you expect 3star hotel to be, a bit worn out, but has it's charm.
my room was simple, but tidy. Main inconvenience was the bathroom, although clean, it has two downsides: 1) the shower is quite small and when you get inside the curtain is always sticking to you. 2) the toilet flash was broken, never worked on the first try - I had to press many-many times to flush it.
It didn't ruin the experience, but it's a bit annoying for sure"

"I really don't understand how foreigners think. I booked this well in advance. At the time, I could only book one night in a standard room plus two nights in a premium room. On the day of check-in, there was a cheaper premium room available, and the booking price was even lower. But the front desk still insisted on me checking into the standard room for one night, then checking out at noon on the second day, leaving my luggage at the front desk, and then checking into the premium room later that afternoon for the remaining two nights. It turned out the premium room wasn't even as good as the standard room; the lighting was a bit strange, and the room size was the same. The hotel breakfast was decent though."

"Overall, pretty good. During peak season, single rooms were fully booked, so I had to opt for a small twin room. The beds were quite narrow and short, and the room itself was tiny, though perfectly adequate for one person. Surprisingly, the bathroom was even larger than the main room. Cleanliness was good overall, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'd certainly recommend it to independent travelers. The only minor drawback was that my room was located next to a metal staircase, which could get quite noisy."

"Everything is great. The hotel is wonderful. There is a shop nearby, we walked to and from the station easily. During our three days of stay we never used public transport, because everything is nearby and we walked around all of Florence. Thank you very much for your hospitality."

"It's so close to the train station. It's not too far to walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The living facilities nearby are good. There are two fast food restaurants and a small supermarket. Although the room is a bit old, it is acceptable, especially the breakfast is rich and can be enjoyed early in the morning. "Although it is a distance from the train station, the tram is super convenient. The environment is safe, quiet, and hygienic.
The breakfast is rich and tastes good. There are many choices of drinks and desserts.
The price-performance ratio is very high.

"The location is average, about ten minutes walk from the tram station. The sheets were not very clean. I even saw blood stains that had not been washed away. . . . . We didn't see any staff during the whole process. We only communicated and paid by phone and email. We arrived at 11 noon. When we called the staff, she told us the door lock code and then allowed us to go in and put our luggage. This was good."

"Very small hotel, the room is very small and not very clean,
but there is a small refrigerator in the room!
Because it is in the city center,
it is extremely convenient, you don't even need to take the bus or subway,
you can reach all the main attractions in Florence by foot,
although it is small, if you come to Florence,
it is very good to stay here, because it is really suitable for walking,
the road is very small and every road is art...I can only admire it.

GGuest UserGood location, very close to the train station & Centro storico. Room size was very good, with a BALCONY! Even though privacy may be a bit compromised but can’t have everything. It had very good natural lighting. The bathroom was also big, bigger than most bathroom in Italian hotels. I could dance & turn around in the shower stall. Check in required a bit of tech-savviness & naturally the internet. Unlocking gate & room required the use of an internet browser/done on a smart phone. There’re plenty of food options around, a bar/cafe/gelateria right down the building. Coffee machine & drinking water available for the taking. There’s a big shared fridge and an in-room fridge. Internet was fast. Plenty of charging ports/power outlets, conveniently placed (including bedside). Maybe one small suggestion: perhaps there’d be a desk. The TV didn’t work but I wouldn’t watch anything in Italian. I could YouTube with the fast internet. Good toiletries & drinking water provided & refreshed daily (some hotels don’t do this). Highly recommended.

GGuest UserStrategically well located, within 3-5 minutes from the Firenze station. With lots food options at reasonably and budget priced. For instance, just outside the hotel, less than a min walk, a Chinese no frills restaurant provides a good Asian spread of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese Ramen and fusion at competitive prices. Mcdonald is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Other Italian restaurants are found within 3-5 mins walk from the hotel. Though, this place is busy and bustly, it is rather safe to move around. The security system in the hotel is good and rather peaceful. Staff are excellent with good knowledge of The city of Florence. The Duomo (see Pic) is about 10mins walk from the hotel. Further down, about 5 mins walk, you can access the Uffizy Gallery with great Art collection of the Renaissance era. Also, you can take a 10 mins walk via the Firenze station to access coaches for our daily tours and Designer’s factory outlet at The Mall. No regrets booking Cosimo for comfort and convenience for our great Florentine experience.

GGuest UserVery pleased with my stay. Hotel kindly upgraded me from a Single Room to a Double Room in low season in November, which is really nice.
The room is spacious, with good natural light, double glazed windows and good ventilation/air con/heating. Toilet with stand shower is of a good size as well, not too small and cramped.
Hotel location is super close to the central station in Florence, around 5 mins walk only to it, which is very ideal for travellers arriving into Florence by rail.
It's slow walkable to pretty much all attractions (within 15-25 mins), so is a good place to base yourself in for a short stay.
Similar to many hotels in Italy, there are a few steps at the entrance but there is a lift to get you up to your room.
Check-in process is smooth and complimentary breakfast is decent. I especially love the coffee and jucie machine and pancakes offered. It'd be great if besides scrambled eggs, some kind of breakfast meats like sausages can also be offered. They do have some basic cold cuts and cheese and ham as well, yogurt, and cornflakes, it's a more diverse continental breakfast, which is great for a 3 Star Hotel.
As the hotel is very close to the Train Station, you do hear trains / trams passing through from the streets, but the noise level is acceptable with the double glazed windows' insulation.
I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

SSofia AbdulMy stay here was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We needed to carry heavy luggage up the stairs then take small lift to the hotel lobby. The room and toilet were a bit cramped. The floor was very cold when I visited at the end of November, but luckily I brought my own slippers. The room was clean, albeit a bit old in design, with provided toiletries except for a toothbrush and toothpaste, which was fine since I had my own. They also provide a kettle and water bottles. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, the leather market, a halal restaurant, and is conveniently located near the main train station. We can leave luggage before check in & after checking. Overall, highly recommended.

JJUNHWANIt was so good. The advantage is that there is a tram right in front of you, and the price is cheap as it is a little far from the tourist spots. There was a big mart at the station just before, so it was nice to see the market. The downside is that you can go to the tourist spot by tram for about 20 minutes, but it wasn't a big problem. It was nice to be quiet. The room was spacious and the shampoo filled every day was well used. However, the check-in process was a bit cumbersome. I would like to reuse it if I come to Florence again next time.

GGuest UserThe location is a prime! Only around 7mins walk from the train station and around 6 mins walk to Catheral of Santa Maria! You can access the main sightseeing spots by walking! the loft was very cozy and very clean! Bed mattress is not too hard and not too soft, i had great sleep every night. It was fully equipped with kitchen appliances, such as kettle, big fridge, stoves etc, very convenient if you would like to cook, especially when travelling with family. Bathroom was spacious, with a hair dryer that can really dry you hair! Hot water is hot enough! Staff was so friendly and helpful! I arrived around 11am , they let me check in even it was not the check-in time yet! On the day of departure, you can also leave your luggage’s at the basement，and you can pick them up anytime before the staff gets off work! Definitely will come back next time when i travel to Firenze again!

AAlexandraSHotel overall is okay for a 3 star. Employees were always friendly. Free parking and if full, hotel as a old garage underneath which it was where we parked. Breakfast was okay also for a 3 star hotel.
Amenities nothing to be honest, on our room we had some stuff broken also… could get some refurbishment. And also, it is not a queen bed, it was two single beds close to each other… with no top mattress anything…
