"First-line sea view and excellent hardware facilities. Regarding service, I called the front desk previously to ask about something. They normally offer pier shuttle service, so we inquired, unaware it wasn't included in our package. However, the front desk staff had a very bad attitude and was quite rude. When we asked if they could still provide the service, they very firmly stated it wasn't included in our package. It's fine if they explain it clearly, but they kept repeating the same thing several times, each time with a harsher tone, and showed no willingness to discuss it. This really left a bad impression. We ended up having Ctrip communicate with them about other matters. Besides the service, everything else was great."

"My little one was on vacation, so I brought her to Beihai. The hotel experience was fantastic! The floor-to-ceiling windows provided great natural light, perfect for taking photos. Laundry is always a headache when traveling, but this hotel has a three-wash, three-dry machine, which perfectly meets the needs of traveling with a child. While doing laundry, my little one could even play in the gym. I was driving my electric car around, and their dedicated charging stations were very convenient. The hotel is right next to Qiaogang Street and the passenger port, and it's also very close to popular spots like Silver Beach, Liuxia Village, and the Art Museum. The service was excellent; they even offered a cup of hot tea upon arrival. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time."

"As a huge hotel enthusiast who has stayed at numerous high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, this stay at Song Hotel was once again a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations. This surprise wasn't sudden; it accumulated little by little throughout the stay, transforming into a constant sense of awe and wonder. Initially, the hotel's color scheme seemed a bit odd, but I later learned it was the color of the sunset glow on the old buildings. This nostalgic and genuine warmth permeated every aspect of the hotel's service. Because the hotel was still in its soft opening phase, I was upgraded to a suite! I was overjoyed. 🛏️ Suite Experience Over 100 square meters. The suite included an indoor soaking tub and swimming pool. The color scheme was simple and elegant—a combination of off-white, light brown, and dark wood tones, instantly creating a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the window overlooked the Silver Beach! The room amenities were top-of-the-line, from bedding to toiletries, with attention to detail everywhere. 🍽️ Dining Stunning Completely unlike anything I'd expected from a third-tier city. The selection of breakfast items was simply unbelievable for a city like this. Makana Bakery, located in the bakery, offers locally inspired bread innovations—Guangxi Liubao Tea Croissant, Pandan Coconut Croissant, Lychee Sea Salt Croissant—bringing local flavors and French baking techniques together beautifully, rivaling boutique bakeries in first-tier cities. I tried the coffee shop, Chinese restaurant, and ice cream shop one by one, and each exceeded my expectations. The hotel dedicated significant space to local cultural exhibitions. As a keen citywalker, I was exhausted from exploring Beihai's old streets and various seaside areas, but surprisingly, the most insightful experience of the city came from the hotel's exhibition hall 🤣 The curation was excellent. The curatorial text and style were tasteful. It wasn't just a perfunctory display of folk customs, but a genuine exploration of the city's historical context and way of life—from maritime culture to the memories of the Tanka people, from the old street fabric to the evolution of contemporary Beihai. It was also a photogenic spot. Another feature of the hotel is the inclusion of a collection space showcasing several high-quality niche brands. From luxury lifestyle products to carefully selected souvenirs, everything was practical, stylish, and imbued with Beihai's essence. These brands offer excellent taste and value for money. Although I also visited other places and tried several hotels, I felt that this hotel was enough for my trip to Beihai. I could relax, enjoy the sea view, shop, and eat to my heart's content. Finally, let me talk about the service. It wasn't the professional hotel service I'd expected. Having stayed in top-tier hotels, I understand the natural and welcoming atmosphere of a butler. But perhaps because it had just opened, many people's eyes held a touch of naivety and unfamiliarity. They were cautious yet attentive, which was especially endearing. That simple, unfamiliar sincerity was touching. You could see their dedication. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I've stayed in countless great hotels. This is the first time I've written such a thoughtful review. Because this place is more than just a hotel; it allowed me to rediscover Beihai. It also solved the pain points of traveling in a third- or fourth-tier city regarding dining, service, and the aesthetics and practicality of souvenirs (and the value for money was excellent). This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a key to understanding Beihai and a haven for my short stay."

"The location is excellent, and the service is top-notch. It also has a private beach, and the breakfast is of a high standard. Jiajia, one of the staff members, was particularly attentive and offered great travel advice. The hotel even gave us some local Beihai specialties as a gift. The only downside is that the hotel might be a bit old, as many of the facilities are dated. This is especially true for the hairdryer, which is inconveniently placed on the desk instead of in the bathroom and lacks power. I'd recommend an upgrade."

"The room directly faces Silver Beach, offering unparalleled views, and you can also glimpse the Ferris wheel in the distance from the other side, which is a nice touch. There are both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a children's play area. The large green space is perfect for soccer and badminton, though we didn't have time to try feeding the small animals this trip. It's truly ideal for kids. Just a heads-up: the beach right in front of the hotel is great for foraging during low tide. If you want to swim, you'll need to walk a little further to the right, but it's still very close."

"Yes, it's not just a hygiene issue. Around 9 or 10 pm, the lights inexplicably went out, but the air conditioner still worked; it was just the lights that wouldn't turn on. Customer service told me to search the room, but I couldn't find the electrical panel. Finally, their staff came and knocked on the door to fix it. Don't consider this place if your little girl is traveling alone; it's quite scary. I saw a previous review that downplayed the issue, so I'll emphasize it again: there's no squat toilet in the bathroom, and the toilet bowl was covered in urine stains—very unhygienic! Don't even consider booking a sea-view room. It's practically a million miles from the sea. With the air conditioner on, the outdoor unit on the balcony gets extremely hot, and it's inconvenient to enjoy the view."

"We spent 27 days in this wonderful hotel. The host was very welcome and cared for our quiet rest. We had a room in which there were two bedrooms and a living room, a spacious balcony, where you could drink tea in silence and watch the surroundings and the sea, all corresponding to the photo. If you come with your family, there is a great play area here. There is a library in the nearby building. There is also a clean pool on the territory for a small fee. In 10 minutes walk the sea with warm water, which is best to visit in the morning and in the evening you can visit local cafes with delicious local cuisine and sea delicious foods. We had a wonderful time in Beihai and would like to come again."

"I booked a 12-day Guangxi tour through Trip.com, and spent the last two nights at the newly opened HUALUXE. The hotel's facilities and hardware are top-notch. It was a pleasant surprise to find that it has direct access to the beach and leads right to the Huan Island Cafe. Overall, the stay was quite enjoyable. Our tour package included two nights in a sea-view king room, and even a complimentary meal. While the food wasn't amazing, I can't complain too much since it was free. However, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, and the service definitely needs improvement. Coming from the adjacent Reef Hotel, the service here felt like a huge downgrade; it was almost entirely self-service. There were a lot of families with kids staying, and the restaurant floor was often messy, but cleaning was slow. Finally, check-out was chaotic when it came to getting a ride to the pier. We were told to wait in the lobby and someone would call us when it was time, but no one ever did. Eventually, a crowd of people squeezed to get on the electric shuttle, with no one managing the queue. It left a sour taste at the end of our stay. I hope the hotel gets its service up to par once it's more established, otherwise, it really won't do justice to its excellent facilities."

"The hotel room has a good location in the city center, and the layout is consistent with Lavande's style. The hotel smells wonderful! The only problem is the toilet setup. After opening the door, you can't get into the bathroom or out of the shower area; you have to stand next to the toilet. It would be better to change to an outward-opening door! The hotel is new and clean, but the space is a bit small—it seems to be the smallest I've ever stayed in. There are plenty of parking spaces; I estimate it can park around 50 cars. The breakfast selection is good, including freshly cooked noodles, a local specialty. However, there's a lack of juice and self-service coffee. The tea selection is limited to one tea bag steeped in a small amount of water, which looks rather bland. The front desk service is excellent, and the hotel staff are very friendly!"
