The location is fantastic, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, plus excellent transportation links. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The service was absolutely top-notch; the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. "The surrounding sea is beautiful, and there are delicious seafood restaurants. It's conveniently located, and the room is large and beautiful with a sea view from the balcony. However, the room got cold late at night, and the air conditioner wouldn't turn on. The air conditioner switch is the kind mounted on the wall, and pressing it didn't do anything. There was municipal road construction downstairs; they were still driving piles at 8 or 9 pm and started again before 8 am. I only stayed one day before leaving."

"The room facilities are OK, more suitable for people on business trips, the staff at the store are cold, there is no sense of service. The platform shows that the room type can be upgraded, and I remarked that I want a better view of the high floor (out for travel). The front desk staff said that there is no upgraded room type. I can live at the same price. In the off-season, the room type and area are the same, that is, the floor difference. I can't figure it out now. . . Later, I arranged it to the 25th floor. No matter whether it is goodwill or malicious, I will give a 5 points to encourage (the other guy is very enthusiastic the next day, smiling reception), I hope that the management can be more flexible, and I really think for the customer to last for a long time! There is also an air conditioner in the elevator room that is not turned on, waiting for the elevator to be hot!"

"The biggest highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly our butler, Lulu. Before our arrival, she proactively contacted me to understand our needs and went above and beyond to fulfill them. She was incredibly helpful with anything she could coordinate and actively sought solutions for things beyond her direct control – truly commendable! 👍 During our stay, she was incredibly responsive and efficient in booking activities and arranging a late check-out. So, these 5 stars are definitely for our butler. Another great point is the lifeguard at the pool; they are, without a doubt, the most responsible I've ever encountered at a hotel. They diligently watched the pool every single minute, never getting distracted. The staff at the kids' activities also did a fantastic job, engaging with every child and ensuring everyone felt included. On the downside, the room cleaning could be improved. The non-slip mat in the bathtub had a greasy film underneath (though when I informed the butler, she immediately resolved it and provided disposable bath liners). Replenishment of amenities was also inconsistent. The hot food at the executive lounge was disappointing and didn't match the quality expected from a five-star hotel at this price point. Lastly, the kids' club was very small and lacked proper ventilation."

"There are so many hotels and guesthouses in Beihai. I initially booked a place near Jintan Beach, but it was the same price, but the room was too small and not clean, so I cancelled it. After searching for several hours, I saw this place recommended on Ctrip and decided to give it a try. The owner had even turned on the air conditioning beforehand, so it was very cool as soon as I entered. The room was really clean and tidy, the bed was super comfortable, and the facilities were complete. The room also had a washing machine and enough disposable toiletries. It was very clean and convenient. The owner was also super nice and even sent me a message to remind me to eat breakfast. I decided to extend my stay. Because I had other plans in my itinerary, the owner kindly helped me call a car on the third day. Before I left, he even cooked breakfast for me. The seafood noodles were really delicious, even better than what I've had outside, and there was a lot of variety. Oh, and while I was eating breakfast, the owner also gave me a big box of Beihai's specialty sea duck eggs and helped me carry all my luggage to the car. I was really grateful. I will definitely stay here again after I return from Weizhou Island. In short, it was a great experience."

"This stay was on the night before leaving Beihai at the end of our trip. The Wyndham's room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was also excellent. When we checked out, the staff enthusiastically helped us with our luggage to the car, so the service was great. The only downside was that the hairdryer in the room was very old-fashioned, making for a very unpleasant experience. I suggest they update it immediately to keep up with the times. (The other hotels we stayed at in Beihai and Weizhou Island all had Dyson hairdryers.) In comparison, this one felt very subpar and didn't match the hotel's positioning."

The high-speed Wi-Fi and desk were perfectly adequate, and the hot breakfast helped maximize my work efficiency during my business trip."

The room was very clean, the space was large, the large floor-to-ceiling windows, the yard was very beautiful, the breakfast was very rich, the powder was particularly delicious, free high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off, There is also a free pick-up and drop-off station service at the international passenger terminal. Now you can make exquisite tea/coffee/juice unlimited drinks. It is recommended and you will come to live next time.

The complimentary afternoon tea was delicious, and the seafood we had the hotel help us purchase and prepare was incredibly tasty – seriously, you *must* try the rock oysters, they're divine! Breakfast is à la carte, with both Chinese and Western options, and you can order more if you're still hungry. The hotel staff were very responsive to all our requests. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The private beach is wonderfully quiet and peaceful; lying there gazing at the sea was so relaxing, and it was great for photos without crowds in the background. The hotel's famous pool also makes for some fantastic pictures. **Surprise:** What truly impressed me was that the hotel provides a special bag containing all the essentials you'd need on the island, plus they give you their own sun umbrella. I can't express how thoughtful and considerate this is! Even after we left, the positive impression lingered, and my parents kept raving about it. Next time I visit, I definitely want to try a pool room, though they're so hard to book, haha!

The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:) Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island! Overall A+ experience! (Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

QQunyanThe inn is not far from the Crocodile Mountain Service Center, about seven or eight minutes away, where you can choose to take scenic buses to different combinations of scenic spots, which is very convenient. The inn has a kitchen for guests to use, and more conveniently, the only vegetable selling point on the island is right next to it. The proprietress of the inn is from Baoding and is very enthusiastic. She not only helped us design tour routes and contact transportation, but also picked us up from the pier for free.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

GGuest UserThe boss was very considerate and turned on the air conditioner for us in advance. As soon as we arrived at the B&B, he came to help us with our suitcases. He was very enthusiastic. The TV in the room won't turn on, come and help immediately. Very satisfied. It was just that the weather was cool this time, so it was a pity that I couldn't swim. The swimming pool in the B&B is also great. It is very close to Silver Beach. We go to the beach to play every day after waking up. The children are very happy.

GGuest UserFirst off, I have to say that the Sheraton Beihai is the absolute top hotel in Beihai. I especially want to give a shout-out to Ella and Cathy, who are front desk staff and akin to hotel butlers. Their service is professional yet warm, making you feel incredibly comfortable. This trip was with my girlfriend, and as soon as we entered the hotel, we were captivated by the massive glass wall in the lobby, offering an uninterrupted view of the endless, azure sea. The hotel is located within the National Forest Park, a location unparalleled by any other hotel. It truly offers ocean-front rooms. Our room was large and spacious, with luxurious, elegant, and comfortable decor, featuring a wonderful coastal design and numerous thoughtful details. The most impressive aspect, though, was the attitude of the staff. Everyone at the hotel had an excellent demeanor – that's the charm of the Marriott brand, and I believe this Sheraton embodies it perfectly. Downstairs, there's the hotel's private beach, which is uncrowded and beautiful. The accompanying Sunset Restaurant also has a fantastic ambiance. Listening to music with the sea breeze, enjoying a drink while watching the sunset against the backdrop of Guantouling Beach is simply blissful. Despite being on a hill, the hotel's location makes it convenient to get anywhere. There are staff at the entrance who help with luggage and open/close doors, which is an excellent touch. Even ordering late-night takeout was super fast. I also want to praise the hotel breakfast – it was incredibly delicious! You absolutely *must* try the hotel's noodles; they have a unique flavor. From my personal experience, if you're planning a vacation or holiday in Beihai, the Sheraton is definitely the best choice. Whether it's the location, environment, service, experience, facilities, luxury, cleanliness, or the sense of privacy and seclusion, I honestly believe it's absolutely outstanding!

The location is particularly convenient, just a few minutes walk to Silver Beach, it is super comfortable to lie down when you are tired.
