The lobby is elegantly decorated, check-in was efficient and quick, and the staff were warm, attentive, and helpful throughout, demonstrating professionalism in every detail. The room was clean, spacious, and well-laid out, with brand-new, fully equipped facilities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The room was thoroughly cleaned, with no unpleasant odors, and the toiletries were of superior quality, making for a perfect toiletries experience. Overall, it offers exceptional value for money, making it ideal for both business and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time and highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserWe had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Ddaodao_zhangTraveling with two children, the location is very close to the passenger port. Thank you to Xiao Zhang from the reservation department for upgrading the room. The check-in was quick and the room was clean. There were fresh fruits in the room every day and many extra bottles of water were given every day. I have eaten breakfast, Chinese food, and buffet in the hotel. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. The Chinese food is plentiful and reasonably priced, but the waiters in the Chinese restaurant are not as enthusiastic as the front desk and appear to be slack. The buffet is okay. The good food stall on the left side of the north gate of the hotel is good, and it feels better than the internet celebrity restaurant Yuexiang Kitchen in Qiaogang Fengqing Street.

The facilities were complete, the community was clean and hygienic, the rooms were residential-style, and the hotel-like service was available 24 hours a day. Xiao Li at the front desk was very helpful and deserves a five-star rating! Following Xiao Li's suggestion, we went to the beach behind the community and caught some small crabs, which made the kids very happy. The seafood noodles we had for breakfast were also quite good.

GGuest UserFirst off, I have to say that the Sheraton Beihai is the absolute top hotel in Beihai. I especially want to give a shout-out to Ella and Cathy, who are front desk staff and akin to hotel butlers. Their service is professional yet warm, making you feel incredibly comfortable.
This trip was with my girlfriend, and as soon as we entered the hotel, we were captivated by the massive glass wall in the lobby, offering an uninterrupted view of the endless, azure sea. The hotel is located within the National Forest Park, a location unparalleled by any other hotel. It truly offers ocean-front rooms. Our room was large and spacious, with luxurious, elegant, and comfortable decor, featuring a wonderful coastal design and numerous thoughtful details. The most impressive aspect, though, was the attitude of the staff. Everyone at the hotel had an excellent demeanor – that's the charm of the Marriott brand, and I believe this Sheraton embodies it perfectly.
Downstairs, there's the hotel's private beach, which is uncrowded and beautiful. The accompanying Sunset Restaurant also has a fantastic ambiance. Listening to music with the sea breeze, enjoying a drink while watching the sunset against the backdrop of Guantouling Beach is simply blissful.
Despite being on a hill, the hotel's location makes it convenient to get anywhere. There are staff at the entrance who help with luggage and open/close doors, which is an excellent touch. Even ordering late-night takeout was super fast.
I also want to praise the hotel breakfast – it was incredibly delicious! You absolutely *must* try the hotel's noodles; they have a unique flavor.
From my personal experience, if you're planning a vacation or holiday in Beihai, the Sheraton is definitely the best choice. Whether it's the location, environment, service, experience, facilities, luxury, cleanliness, or the sense of privacy and seclusion, I honestly believe it's absolutely outstanding!

From the warm and efficient check-in process by the receptionists Xiao Gao, Xiao Jing, and Xiao Jiao, to the thoughtful housekeeping staff tidying up the room and replenishing amenities, everything made me feel incredibly welcome. The room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities, and the bedding was so comfortable that I slept soundly all night. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to get around. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe service was impeccable. Sasha at the front desk was incredibly welcoming; she even found me a charger when my phone was dead. We originally wanted a twin room but got a king room instead, and they upgraded our room! We were very satisfied. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room, which is very convenient. The room was clean, and the price was great. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Environment: Our garden view room was upgraded to a sea view room on the top floor with a fantastic view, including the sunrise. The view was breathtaking from the moment we entered the room.
Service: The receptionists were all very helpful; Southerners are generally much better at service than Northerners.
Facilities: Excellent value for money. It's the same hotel as a neighboring hotel that costs 700-800 RMB per night, so breakfast is served there, and the swimming pool and laundry room are shared. The value is exceptional.
Cleanliness: Extremely clean. There was no hair on the bed, and the sheets and blankets were very dry.

TTuomaxixingAsaka is a newly popular hotel and community in Beihai, bearing a striking resemblance to Aranya in Qinhuangdao. The hotel's prices are very budget-friendly, offering great value for money in Beihai.
We visited during the National Day holiday, when prices at popular hotels typically soar 2-3 times. While Asaka Hotel also had a significant premium, it remained quite competitive compared to the beachfront hotels at Silver Beach. We initially stayed two nights at Silver Beach, then explored the Asaka community, found it impressive, and decided to move to the Ferris Wheel Seaview Resort.
**⛲️Environment:** Asaka Hotel currently primarily consists of the Ferris Wheel, Summit, and other sub-brand resorts. These are essentially hotel-style apartments designed and decorated within the community's high-rise residential buildings. They feature IKEA furniture and appliances, with a Nordic design aesthetic. The main differences lie in location, orientation, and floor level.
This time, we stayed in a Deluxe Seaview Room in the annex building of the Ferris Wheel Resort. It offered expansive views of the southeast-facing beach and the adorable Ferris Wheel 🎡 nearby. The room was a one-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom setup, similar to a small suite. There was also a private small courtyard at the room entrance with a washing machine and exhaust fan, perfect for storing odds and ends or drying clothes. A sizable balcony allowed for enjoying the view, relaxing, and catching the sunrise if you woke up early. Both the hotel and the room were relatively new and very clean. The living room had a small refrigerator and a stove (though not used). Breakfast was served as a set meal in the staff canteen; it was simple but decent. Alternatively, you could dine at one of the restaurants within the park. The service was quite good, with quick responses to inquiries. Overall, it felt like a well-serviced hotel-style apartment, suitable for an extended staycation.
**🎡Facilities:** Asaka Park boasts a large outdoor water park, a children's pool, an indoor children's playground, and a children's library, making it ideal for families with kids—this is its biggest selling point compared to other hotels! Unfortunately, we encountered Typhoon 🌀 Muifa, which led to the closure of both indoor and outdoor children's facilities for several days.
There are also adult pools, a cinema, a bookstore, an art gallery, several specialty restaurants and bars, and charming plazas with art sculptures and installations perfect for relaxing and taking photos. Around the park, you'll find numerous art installations and landscaped gardens with a similar theme. To the south are the landmark Ferris Wheel and a larger water park, though they were not open during my visit. Overall, Asaka is a community with a strong sense of design and plenty of recreational opportunities, well worth exploring, photographing, or even staying for a short visit.
**🌀Typhoon Days:** We happened to be there during a direct hit from a typhoon, which significantly impacted our experience. The water park and children's playground were closed, and park restaurants were overcrowded. Waking up in the middle of the night, I could hear the howling wind outside and the slight swaying of the ceiling lamp inside 🫨 After the typhoon passed, the outdoor areas were a mess… However, I was impressed to see many service staff standing firm at their posts, ensuring the normal operation of the hotel community.
**Finally, let's talk about the downsides:**
The hotel rooms are all located in high-rise buildings, but each building only has 2-4 elevators. When you factor in delivery personnel, you can imagine how busy it gets during peak hours. Our luck was pretty good, but we still had to wait a long time for elevators a few times. I suggest strictly enforcing the rule that delivery personnel are not allowed into the hotel.
Surprisingly, the in-room phone in the annex building couldn't dial the front desk. We had to use our mobile phones to call the hotel's main line, and some front desk staff weren't even aware of this issue. I recommend fixing the direct-dial phone problem or at least informing guests upon check-in and providing alternative contact methods.

AAnonymous UserThe room is very new, the air conditioning is very powerful, everyone from the front desk to the room aunt to the breakfast aunt are very warm and polite, they greet each other actively when they meet, which is great. The hotel is in a good location, the old street is across the alley in front of the hotel, and the sea is behind the hotel. It has its own parking lot, which is very convenient for driving in and out. It is still a little far from Silver Beach, but Didi is very convenient to go back and forth, and orders are also accepted in seconds during the May Day holiday.
