A Fantastic Stay at Dayin International Youth Hostel in Shanghai! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dayin International Youth Hostel in Shanghai, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Location: The hostel is perfectly located in the heart of Shanghai, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the city has to offer. It’s just a short walk from major attractions like people’s square and the surrounding area is filled with great restaurants, shops, and local markets. The transportation links are also excellent, with several subway stations nearby. Accommodation: The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained. I stayed in a dormitory, and it was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, and the hostel provides all the necessary amenities like fresh linens, storage space, and even charging stations. The common areas are also well-designed, with plenty of seating and a nice lounge where you can relax or socialize with other travelers. Facilities:  offers a range of fantastic facilities. The hostel has a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, which is a great way to save some money while traveling. There’s also a free Wi-Fi connection throughout the building, which worked perfectly for me. I particularly loved the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city skyline and catch some fresh air. Staff: One of the standout aspects of this hostel is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests. Whether it was getting directions, recommending places to visit, or helping with travel plans, they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. They even organized a few social events during my stay, which was a great way to meet other travelers and make some new friends. Overall Experience My stay at Dayin International Youth Hostel was truly memorable. The combination of a great location, comfortable accommodations, excellent facilities, and the most welcoming staff made my experience in Shanghai even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay in this amazing city. Thank you!

The Inn is located in the central area, which is why it is so crowded. To maximize its ability, the room and bed are super small. There is no space for luggage, even your small things eg skincare stuff, and if you want to arrange your luggage, you better do it in the shared space aka reception area. There is lots of dust in the room, on the bed, everywhere 😂 my nose got allergic badly There are only 3 bath spaces and the facility is old and broken, 2 wash basins which is always wet. I know the cleaners work so hard, I saw them do cleaning all the time, but as it is too crowded, always full of people (not only tourists, lots of them are long term rental), the toilet space is always occupied. Plus point: service is ok, staff are friendly and supportive. My thanks to the guy help me use washing machine when I didn’t have wechatpay to pay the fee 🙇♀️🙇♀️

The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and being very close to the bus/metro stations. However, the bathroom does not separate the toilet and shower, and there is no clothes rack. So every time I took a shower, I had to put both clean and dirty clothes, and clean tower into a small box, which was hung right above the squatting toilet. So when I opened the box to get clothes, I was always worried that some items might fall into the squatting toilet below. Additionally, the layout of the rooms for men and women is not well organized, as men can walk by the women's toilets and vice versa. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I wouldn’t stay here again when I’m in Shanghai.

This hotel is located in very good location. Just 5 mins walk to Popmart and Nanjing Road. The guy in front office is very helpful, he helped managing the goods delivery with local logistic. I would recommend this hotel if you visit Shanghai and look for best location in city.

The front desk staff are lovely and they speak well English ! The gym is awesome with all you would need, like the standards (bike, running mat, dumbells) with pull-up bars, pliometrics boxes and more. Loved it ! The location is great with at least 3 metro lines close by and close to the Bund. The kitchen is well deserved with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, etc. There is no electricity sockets close to the bed. Instead, there are 3 USB ports (1x Usb-C, 2x Usb). That sucks to charge a computer, but there are electricity sockets at other places. The 2-bed room is really small, but it each space is well organised ! Doesn't botter for the price. There is a terrace, a chess board, a mahjong board and a soccer table 😍 Lots of people when I was there in October 24 ! Also, the have a well organised locked to leave your luggages for your first/last day. And they were super chill with the checkout. I could even sit and use the gym before I catch my train. I would definitely recommend !

I booked a bed in a 8-bed dormitory, with AC. The dormitory is a bit small, so you can feel packed, especially with everyones' luggage. The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm, you have access to an ensuite bathroom (shower + toilet) and a sink outside the bathroom. All could definitely be cleaner. The WiFi could be better. The staff is very nice and friendly. The location is very convenient, close to Nanjing Road. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

First time ever visiting China. I'm glad that I found this hostel. I think everything was just perfect during the time I stay here. All the staffs were amazingly friendly and nice. Specially thanks to Tao, Tang, and also qiu. Always try to help if needs. This hostel has nice and cozy public space, I really enjoyed staying in the public area, there is a cafe so could order some coffee, soft drinks, and also beers. I traveld a lot, and stayed lots of hostels. However, I can tell I've never seen any hostels clean than this place. Not even just kidding, you will see how clean this hostel is. This hostel, everything was just perfect, and would love to come back if I visit Shanghai again. 한국인 리뷰가 많이 없네요. 중국에 처음 방문 했는데, 한국분들 상하이 방문하시면 이 호스텔 고민하지 말고 예약하세요. 같은 한국인으로서 정말 추천해요! 예약하면서 위생 청결상태나 지역을 최우선으로 보고 예약했는데 방은 프라이빗하고 충분히 넓은 공간이 있어요. 한국에서 사용하는 충전기 그대로 사용할 수 있고 USB포트도 있어요. 화장실 진짜 깨끗해요 직원 아주머니가 계속 청소합니다 진심 깨끗해요 ㅋㅋ.. 그리고 개인 카드키로 열리는 사물함도 있어서 짐보관 편하고 직원들이 24시간 있고 방으로 올라갈때도 카드키로 엘리베이터 이용할 수 있어서 안전한 느낌 ㅎㅎ 제가 유럽이랑 미국 호주 뉴질랜드 아시아 동남아등등 전세계 많이 예약했는데 이렇게 만족스러운 호스텔은 처음이에요. 호스텔 근처에 로컬 맛집들 많고 매일 아침마다 가는 식당도 있었는데 너무 좋았어요 ㅎㅎ 상하이 방문하게 되면 이 호스텔 재방문 의사 100%이고 편하게 머물다가요. 마지막 호스텔 근처에 찐맛집 찾아가세요 가격도 싸고 아주머니 엄청 친절하세요 한국인이라고 맵고 맛있게 만들어주심 ㅎㅎ

i ow shanghai is not a cheap city, So this price for shanghai is really amazing, The stuff is really good one of the manager can speak really nice english the other is quite helpful, The location is also quitenice Just eight minutes walk from nearby tube station, And it is close to the main attraction like thebound and The room is a bit dark and There is too many people in the communal area in the evening, Sometimes itis not very guiet there didn fing any bug

Exit from East Nanjing Metro then look for Exit 5(stairs) or Exit 6(Escalator) then around 3-4mins walk will reach the Hostel. The Hostel No lift and at the 3rd floor. So far my roommates were great, not making much noise or snoring 😄. Each bunkbed room will have own toilet. Cleaning Lady clean everyday. Bed is a bit hard but still bearable. Each cubicle has curtain and charging point. Exactly like the picture. They provide locker which can lock it with the door card. Got space for luggage and shoes. Overall its a good stay. And there are so much of food downstairs. U can easily find all the best noodles at this area.

Facilities: Very new, with shower shampoo, toilet paper, slippers, and the room is also new. Hygiene: Very good, with special cleaning. The bathroom shower is very clean Environment: Good location, near the old west gate, not far from the Confucian Temple, and there are many restaurants around. Jiajia, the staff at the front desk, has a good service attitude. I arrived in the morning and there was an empty bed and I could check in directly. I wanted the lower bunk, so the staff changed the room in the afternoon and went back to get the room card directly at night. You need to make your own bed. The public space is also very large. Recommended to stay.
