I stayed for 2 nights. I really enjoyed it. I was in a twin room. The first night I was alone, and on the second night they assigned a nice girl as my roommate.
Breakfast was quite good, so I didn’t need to eat anywhere else in the morning.
The room was clean and tidy.
Downstairs, there was a room with lockers that can be locked.
I also recommend getting the Ticino Ticket at the reception desk – it allows you to travel around the canton for free and gives you various discounts for museums and boat rides 🥰

If you want to use the budget Ibis, I do not recommend it at all, as the value of money does not suit the service provided. I do not recommend this hotel at all. There is no air conditioning, and if there is an air conditioner, it is shared, and you cannot control its cold. The room temperature was 40 degrees Celsius.😠 Overall 1 of 5
But the other IBIS hotel in the same building is better but not recommended also. The hotel location very good, brackets good. Overall 2 of 5 .

Wonderful hotel. Conveniently located: near bus stops, within walking distance of the supermarket migros and denner (it is worth considering that they close early enough), if you do not have time to shop, you can go to the minimarket at the gas station. There is air conditioning, a kitchen with everything you need, a table and chairs, so you can have dinner in your room. There is no TV, it is, in principle, not particularly needed. We liked everything, I recommend the hotel

Not far from the Lugano train station, there is a bus directly to the city of Lugano at the doorstep, which is quite convenient. The interior of the room is older, but it is clean and air conditioned, making it quite comfortable. Breakfast costs only 10 Swiss francs, but there are fewer choices.

The location of this hotel is particularly good on the commercial street of the old town. On the first floor is the shop selling Swiss army knives. The shop is not the door of the hotel. Don’t walk through it. You can walk downhill from the train station. There is a steep slope and it is recommended to go down the mountain. It is a little tired to go up the mountain. If you have a Swiss Pass, you can take the cable car down for free. The room is very light and the decoration is very fresh. From the hotel, go to the opposite direction of the train station and quickly go to the lake. The cruise ship terminal is on the left hand side of the exit, and the pier is further a park. A hotel I like more, small and exquisite.

Convenient location within 10 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal. Local bus stops just outside the train station and can get to Lugano Centro and Monte Bre easily.
The hotel is located up the slope facing the train station. There's a view of the train station from our room but it's not nosiy once the wooden doors of the balcony are closed.

NNatalya LukhinaGreat place - everything is new and modern! Close to the train station, but you can hardly hear the trains. There is air conditioning. Everything is spotless in the room, soft towels, a good bed, excellent plumbing. Thin pillows, if that's critical for someone. You can order breakfast for 10 francs.
The receptionist was very kind. For the entire stay they give you a guest card, which gives you the right to free travel throughout the canton of Ticino on trains and buses, plus a bunch of discounts. I liked everything, unfortunately, I was there only one night.

YYUWENThought it was a two-star hotel and it turned out to be a surprise. It’s really ten minutes to walk from the train station, but I took the bus twice when I dragged the big box in and out. The hotel in this state will give me a free bus ticket. There are 2 roads in front of the hotel that can go directly to the train station. The single room is just perfect for one person. A big box can be spread out, the wardrobe is enough, and there are enough TV channels including CNN and BBC. There is a small gym. I asked the front desk for the key. Although it stopped at 8 o'clock in the evening, I asked the front desk to take the initiative to use it. I couldn't find the switch to find someone to help me patiently and enthusiastically. I didn't dislike it at all. mean. The front desks I met were very good, especially the one at check-out. The luggage room was open consciously. She said that she put my computer bag under the desk at the front desk to help me watch it until 6 o’clock in the evening. When picking up the luggage, she asked me if I wanted to use the bathroom, which was really touched. The shower head works very well, it’s a bit embarrassing that the basin cannot be plugged, and there are no bath products. The bedding is not very comfortable, and the two-star hotel should not be too demanding, it is very clean and very satisfying. The breakfast included is really mediocre. Don't eat the croissant. You need to pay for the fried egg.
