Great spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, and a supermarket downstairs for convenience. Taxis were always available right outside. The gym, pool, and restaurant were all excellent. Highly recommended for the value it offers.

I would recommend to pay More attention to special requests of the guests. For example I wrote in advance about the 10th anniversary (before we came to Dubai), but the reservation supervisor just ignored my email. Or better to say, I sent 2 emails, but in both answers from him - my special request was ignored. But still, We’re super happy with the restaurant! Didn’t expect such a wonderful quality of food, wonderfull choice for breakfast, very tasty dishes a-la cart, and unbelievable friendly, helpful, guest-oriented restaurant staff!!! Super attentive assistant of manager - Ester! Such a nice personality!!! Thank you to her! And to all the wonderful waters, especially to Joseph, Anne, Solomon! I also want to metnion beautiful Natasha at the front desk, who is ready to solve each issuer with a charming smile! Thank you guys, you’ve made our stay just wonderful!

Nice environment and room. The service is good and mainly for Chinese people as I observed. The room is big and cosy. However, it is 18 minutes walking route far from the metro station. Not very close to the public transport.

The breakfast is nice with so many good options & you can get both buffet & chef to make it for you. The room is nice, there’s a fridge & there is coffee, tea & water for free. Room is very clean & comfortable. The pool area is beautiful. The location is quite far from the Dubai Downtown but the metro is near, but I recommend just Uber or Taxi because the walk is very hot.

Staying at the hotel was an absolutely wonderful experience. The cozy, well-appointed room offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, and the attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The amenities, including the luxurious spa and delicious dining options, made each moment truly enjoyable. I honestly wouldn't hesitate to return to this charming hotel a thousand times over; it felt like a home away from home.

After a disappointing stay earlier this week at another 4-star hotel in Tecom, I decided to try Novotel Al Barsha for the weekend, mainly because Swiss Butter Steakhouse is inside the hotel. My friend Hannah and I checked in with a mix of curiosity and hope for a better experience. The hotel does seem busy, which contradicts what some other guests have said. To their credit, we were given our room right away at check-in. I had booked a Superior Twin Room and specifically requested a higher floor for a better view. I also accepted a smoking room, understanding the compromise, but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the hallway left me wondering: shouldn’t a 4-star hotel manage this better? Upon entrance, to our surprise, we found a joined single bed instead of twins. We called reception, hoping to move rooms, but they offered to just separate the beds. Regret hit when we saw how small the single beds were! Honestly, if you’re tall or on the bigger side, this setup will not be comfortable—especially if you’re staying with friends or family. To add, the bed’s mattress clearly needed flipping, as there was an obvious slope that made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Adding to the unfortunate, despite being on the 25th floor, there was no view to speak of—something we were really looking forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the hotel’s location and our specific request for a high floor. The bathroom was another letdown. The tissue holder was almost broken, the materials inside looked cheap, and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, with visible brown markings—pretty gross for a 4-star hotel. Thankfully, the bathtub was at least clean, so that was something. On the bright side, the highlight of this hotel is definitely their spa and pool. We were given discount vouchers for Soul and Senses Spa, and my masseuse, Shatria, did a great job. The pool is a decent size and clean, while the sauna and steam room were perfect. The health club overall is the ace of this place. For breakfast, I agree with other reviews—it’s decent. The restaurant was packed in the morning, but the vibe was good. However, they don’t escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished. One odd thing I noticed: while housekeeping did try their best to fulfill our requests—like providing coffee capsules and water—there was no creamer for the coffee and tea. Even 3-star hotels provide that, so it was a first for me (maybe it was just the standard). Despite these minimal disappointments, I still try to see the positive side of this hotel and did my best to take decent photos that you may see for reference. Overall, it seems like this hotel mainly caters to group tourists, which makes me wonder if they’re sacrificing quality for quantity. I hope they work on improving their services, including room quality, views, and attention to detail, so they can leave a better impression of Dubai for future guests.

cozy small modern hotel. everything you need is in the room, starting with a dental kit and ending with robes. there was a small problem, but the staff Arina and Mina fixed it very quickly and professionally. they treated us like family and we felt at home. we definitely recommend this hotel. you will feel the sensitivity and care, starting with the management and up to the housekeeping

Good room size for a single person. Hot water did not work for few hours when I stayed there.

A wonderful cozy hotel of the Mama Shelter chain, with its inherent French modern charm, in the Business Bay area! Very small rooms, but in general there is everything you need. As many have already written here, we also appreciated the fluffy white robes and slippers) We also really liked the high heavy mirrored stylish doors to the toilet and shower, good quality toiletries and cosmetics. Cool pool area, where you can swim and sunbathe during the day, and pleasantly chill with a cocktail in the evening, music plays, it is not so hot, cool) Breakfasts in French style, baguettes, croissants) But in fact, there is enough for everyone and everything, special respect for the soft salting of red fish! The designers frankly bothered with the design of public places! Liked. Like. Recommended)

A good apart-hotel for a reasonable price. The downside is that you have to drive to all the interesting places, but it’s not far, the rooms are simple. There are a sufficient number of shops and restaurants nearby.
